When the final project was announced, I immediately ordered and paid for two blu-ray discs and two DVD's because that is what was offered. I've never heard anything from Sassan or anybody else at atinylittledot.com about it not being released on DVD. Did I miss something somewhere?

Except that only a minority of fans own blue-ray and nearly all of them will own a standard DVD player. I realize that you were just being a smart ass, but to answer your question, as nothing is released on VHS and 8track, a new NIN concert would not be released on those formats (and you don't watch 8tracks, btw).

It's completely legitimate to wonder why a possible new release wouldn't be released on a standard dvd.

I'd like to Piggy back off of McFly's post above and concur with the multi-DVD/multi-show idea, leaving the show-specific DVDs to the fans (Webster TDS and the upcoming Wiltern, for example).

Here is a list of every song professionally filmed and what shows they were filmed at. Asterisks mean guests performed and songs in bold only appeared at their specific show. We can hope these songs are "shoo-ins." We can also assume that they would take the best performance of each song, as a measure of quality control.

1.	Somewhat Damaged (B/T2/E/W)
2.	The Beginning Of The End (B/T1/A2/E)
3.	Last (B/T2/A1)
4.	The Collector (B/E/W)
5.	Discipline (B/T1/A1/E/W)
6.	March Of The Pigs (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W)
7.	Something I Can Never Have (B/T2/A1/E/W)
8.	Reptile (B/T1*/T2*/A2*/P/F)
9.	Meet Your Master (B )
10.	Banged And Blown Through (B/A1)
11.	Burn (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W)
12.	Gave Up (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W*)
13.	La Mer (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/E/W*)
14.	Non-Entity (B/T1/T2/A1/E)
15.	Gone, Still (B/T2/A1/A2/E)
16.	The Downward Spiral (B/T2/A1/P)
17.	Wish (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/E/F*/W*)
18.	Heresy (B/A2/P/F*)
19.	Survivalism (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/E/F/W)
20.	Down In It (B/T2/A1/E/W)
21.	Hurt (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W)
22.	The Hand That Feeds (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W)
23.	Head Like A Hole (B/T1/T2/A1/A2/P/E/F/W)
25.	The Good Soldier (B/T2/A2/W)
26.	Dead Souls (B/T1*/T2/A1*/A2/E/F/W)
27.	In This Twilight (B/W)
28.	Home (T1/A2/W)
29.	Terrible Lie (T1/T2/A1/P/E/F)
30.	The Line Begins To Blur (T1)
31.	I'm Afraid of Americans (T1/A2/F)
42.	The Day The World Went Away (T1/F/W)
43.	Sin (T2/F)
44.	Piggy (Nothing Can Stop Me Now) (T2/W*)
45.	Metal (T2/A2/P*/E*/F*/W*)
46.	Head Down (T2/A1/E/F/W)
47.	Lights In The Sky (T2/A1/P)
48.	Suck (T2/A2/P/W)
49.	Strange Kind of Love (T2*/A2*)
50.	Final Solution (T2*/A2*)
51.	Closer (A1/P)
52.	Atmosphere (A1*/F/W)
53.	Piggy (A2/P/F)
54.	I Do Not Want This (A2/P/F*)
55.	Right Where It Belongs V2 (A2)
56.	Mr. Self Destruct (A2/P/F*/W*)
57.	The Becoming (P/F*/W*)
58.	Big Man With A Gun (P)
59.	A Warm Place (P)
60.	Cars (P*/F*)
61.	I Die: You Die (E*/W*)
62.	Physical (E)
63.	Just Like You Imagined (F*/W*)
64.	Down In The Park (F*/W*)
65.	Love Like Anthrax (F*)
66.	Get Down Make Love (F*)
67.	Me, I'm Not (W*)
68.	The Warning (W*)

For songs with and without asterisks, I'd prefer the "with guests" versions to the just NIN performances. Personally, I'd choose the Fonda Cars with Eric Avery and Mike Garson (and Numan, obviously), and the Lohner Mr. Self Destruct & Wish to the DEP ones; though the latter is interchangeable. Just saying, Lohner was actually in NIN, and we already have two DEP-ish Wishes. Down In The Park should always have the Mike Garson solo piano version prepending it, almost like a different Frail/Wretched. At Fonda, Garson stayed on stage for DITP>Cars, while on Wiltern, he exited after his piano piece. And finally, Dave Navarro played on the studio remix of Piggy. Given.

As a side note, I'd kill puppies for a soundboard TDS-Live album, either from only Webster Hall (hey just cause they didn't film it doesn't mean they didn't record it) and Palladium; or all 10. No guests, just NIN. Mr. Self Destruct and MOTP would have to be from one of the two TDS shows for they are performed in their live edits at the other shows. Again, best performance wins.

In LA there was a guy (working for NIN because he had one of those special passes) filming the audience and interviewing people, so it looks promising!

I hope NIN release their own thing with the footage they have too. Judging by the ...four? projects going on for Wave Goodbye from fan-made footage alone, it would be good to get something from their perspective on it.

With all onstage footage and media from the tour. Pictures, vids, audio recordings - everything. This would be golden - although any release with London goodies is more than welcome in my opinion haha I mention torrents not because I want to avoid paying for the content but because its an convenient cheap way to get footage etc out there. A wave goodbye Blu Ray or DVD would be pretty cool as well mind.

Why would you want both?
I love and I really hate the fact that Trent did that. I love it because TOIOU is putting together a fantastic DVD and making copies and such, but I hate it because even though it did happen it may not have. And like I don't have 405 gigs of storage on my computer nor can I edit my own videos so I wouldn't of had a DVD to make.

And then think about this the LiTS tour had 3 shows released, 400 gigs of footage. They played 12 shows, and filmed 11 of them. That is well over 1,000 gigs of raw footage, and who has that kind of space. And I also think everyone wants a product that comes out right away so we can appreciate this.
Just my two cents.

Also I feel like we may get the reissue of The Fragile before we get a Wave Goodbye DVD

I would like Both mainly due to the fact that Trent will most likely do that and for us editor types who like making our own videos its amazing to have that much pro footage to work with freely.

File size wise if you don't have the space or tools to use it don't download it and wait for others to make final videos also raw footage from the shows will be better cause a bluray and dvd will leave allot out there were 10 shows and so many amazing moments they aren't all going to be put on one release. If Trent chooses to release all the shows on bluray/dvd I would buy one of every show I went to but i doubt that will happen that's why I am hoping for the footage.

last tour Peter Gabriel did he had the great idea to do an 'official bootleg set' from each and every show. They did a direct recording from the sound board and later edited and mixed it to optimize sound quality. Then he released the show on his web site and you could buy the actual show with all the talking, bloopers etc between songs, and he even put the whole tour box together in a deluxe edition for the super fans.... GREAT IDEA!!! and I really hope Trent does the same thing for this. 11 shows could certainly be transformed and immortalized seeing as they were some of the best NIN ever did!
