Japan, Egypt or something completely different would have been more interesting in my opinion.

My concern is that the game, taking place in "colonial America", won't have the kind of detailed city-scapes that made the first three games what they were. Boston, Philadelphia, and Baltimore may have been big cities, but they weren't very high off the ground, if you catch my meaning.
