shit, I`m dreaming with a southamerican tour! I HAVE TO SEE THIS BAND!

I was at Bonnaroo right in front of the sound stage on the right side and got about 18 songs on video. I would have got the entire show but my arm needed some rest and i had to rock out. I know there will be a lot of fan video but it really would make a great live dvd. Its the last show in America and the 27 song setlist was stellar. I saw LITS in New Orleans at Voodoo Fest and it was beautiful. I also caught NINJA in Mountain View, CA (also an amazing show). The show on Saturday night topped all. It had a very special feel to it (other than the fact that i knew it was their last US performance). I really do hope that Trent and the band decide to immortalize this stand-alone performance and make a live DVD out of it. Thank you

yeah i took some single photos but i have a bunch of cool ones like that. i pretty much took those when the strobes came on and i would fire off my cammera 6 shots at a time real fast to get the weird ones. but i do have plenty more. if you guys want to see some more let me know and i'll post them :)

(Skin growths) Ya know that's the funny thing about bodies be they animal or human...I learned, by having cancer at 27 (and all those wonderful things that come with age) that no matter WHAT our age, how we try and take care of ourselves, how we look or how feel etc. our bodies are like these ticking DNA time bombs. Seriously, and it's nothing we have any control over what so ever. The soul and essence of any being is VERY MUCH separate from the physical or appearance. To quote Yoda, "Luminous beings are we not this crude matter." (Corny but true) It also brings home two things 1) the importance of a good healthcare system (Eric DLC is another example) and 2) Thank GOD for people who love and accept us for who we are "Warts and all" otherwise this world would become a cold hard dark place very quickly. The dillinger escape plan thing was awesome. i was on the back end of the stage looking back and this guy looked like he was preparing to loose his shit and then that happened lol. must of hurt the guy in the crowd who got a mouthful of guitar strings and a wooden neck. i have great pics from the show but these from wish have lots of lens flare. but you can never have enough lens flare... the new star trek taught us this well lol. if you guys want any more photos from that show i have plenty.

Such is the bane of celebrity. There are many celebrities who are very sucessful that don't have these issues. But they must keep their private lives under wraps and guarded (birds in gilded cages). I'm kinda torn cause I'm a mushy old romantic at heart who loves love and loves a good ride off on a unicorn type story (and I'm happy for them too)...but I also hate to see what's happening now, which time has shown again and again comes from airing things publicly.

I know what I've been through simply because people assumed or speculated based on what I or others typed/wrote. I can tell you it's scary and part of the reason I'm happy being just me...I think THIS ^ is SIMPLY terrible (The situation). I just wish I knew WHY people have to be so cruel to one another and WHY they feel they even have the right to; simply because someone chooses to pursue a career in a performing.

The thing is, performing is a career/a job/part of how they make a living/a chosen profession. So, as with any other career, there is a time when they are performing and a time when the show ends and they walk off the stage; at which point the performers are just like the rest of us. For some reason people can't seem to make that distinction. Like they expect them to be performing ALL the time, it's ALL a show, EVERY aspect of their lives.

On top of that you have Twitter and other places where they post things for publicity/marketing, because it's a business where you have to sell products to make a profit, and SOME performers DO care about their fans, but sometimes this posting only serves to give people the false idea that they somehow KNOW these performers. But, REALITY IS, unless they are a physical part of our lives on a daily/regular basis people...WE DO NOT KNOW THEM. Period. They are STRANGERS. The issue is WITH the people making the assumption or who fail to see/make that distinction between the performers perfoming and their walking off stage.

In the end we ALL, myself included, reap what we sow. So though I'm very happy for Trent and Mariqueen I also see the whole thing as very sad.

It sucks we wont ever be seeing another NIN tour here in North America. But i have been fortunate to see NIN 4 times in the past 5 years. With Teeth in 05, Lits twice last year and NINJA this year. All amazing Shows.

Thank you Trent! You are an amazingly talented person and I wish you the best in what ever you decide to do with your Career.
