Please contact them via PM with any questions or problems in this forum that need to be addressed. If you can't get a hold of them, contact one of the global mods: miss_hazy, leo3375, SwimFin, styrovor.

The 'Report' button in the lower right of each post should only be used to report extremely serious posting violations, not off topic posts or minor issues. It generates an email to all moderators capable of editing the section. As such, please send Private Messages to a listed forum moderator instead when the situation is not disrupting the forum or site to a significant degree. Reported posts will usually be addressed within 24 hours and should not be reported again until 24 hours have elapsed.

Rules and Guidelines

In conjunction with the general forum rules and guidelines, here are some that are specific to this forum:

1. Please do not discuss the private lives of anyone affiliated with NIN. Just because someone decides to open up a bit about his private life doesn't give you the right to comment, dissect, and speculate on it here. Also, do not ask questions or make threads about those involved with NIN that would be considered personal by nature. (When is Trent gonna have kids? What kind of car does Justin drive? You get the idea.)

2. Slanderous posts about anyone related to any NIN member or affiliate by blood, marriage, adoption, or other will not be tolerated. To paraphrase Trent himself: say what you will about him but friends and family are strictly off-limits! Anyone found engaging in this behavior (on NIN.com or even on an outside site) WILL be instantly banned.

3. Please do not post pictures and/or video containing anyone related to anyone involved with NIN by blood, marriage, adoption, or other. However, there are exceptions:
• Anything posted on NIN.com or NIN's profiles on outside sites (Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, MySpace, etc.)
• Anything posted by a former or current Official User to his Website or public profile on outside sites
• Event photos hosted by wire agencies (WireImage, WENN, Getty, etc.)
• Pink is the New Blog or other approved unofficial sources

If a relative is a public figure (musician, actor, politician, etc.), photos and videos are permitted where appropriate and any discussion must be career-oriented. In other words, don't be weird about it.

If you're not sure if a photo/video is okay to post, don't be afraid to PM a mod for clarification.

4. &amp;quot;Groupie comments&amp;quot; are generally discouraged. There's nothing wrong with complimenting someone on their appearance or live performance, but keep this in mind: If you wouldn't say it to Trent, Robin, Rob, et al. in person, you probably shouldn't say it here.

5. We do not allow linking to or sharing of copyrighted, commercially-released audio/video content by NIN or anyone else. Please do not ask for links to published material or provide links to published material. Band-authorized leaks are the only exception to this. And even though Ghosts I–IV and The Slip were released through Creative Commons (the latter was a free download), it still isn't okay to link to torrents or uploads of them, unless you are sharing your own artistic interpretations.

6. If you have any questions that can easily be answered, check the FAQ first. If your question isn't answered there, try asking in the Random NIN Questions thread. If you heard NIN somewhere or saw a mention in an article, post it in the &amp;quot;NIN-Spotting&amp;quot; - a sticky thread at the top of this forum.

7. Miscellaneous band member &amp;quot;appreciation&amp;quot; comments should be posted here if possible. If you really want to create an appreciation thread for a specific band member, do so in the PARTY ROOM and keep it APPROPRIATE.

If you have any questions about the rules of this forum, please don't be afraid to PM any of the mods or admins.</description>
