What we're getting here is a play on the Year Zero arg and countless other forms of information dissemination that the new approach to media and product development and distribution has provided.
Trent is capitalizing on the COMMUNITY as a whole. The general premise of an ARG is that no one person has the skill or ability to complete the whole thing. So I do not look at the "smartarses" that are actively working as we speak to bring this to us in a usable format. And you know what. if you were so arsed out by this, you'd carry your ass to a bookstore or hell, go to pirate bay and find a scanned copy of the information necessary to pull this off yourself.
EDUCATE YOURSELF, you thick headed bugger. Honestly, who's sad? I'm certainly not. I am thrilled that he has taken this approach to a difficult fucking situation. Do you read modern fiction? Do you realize this isn't really a NEW or NOVEL idea? It's been theorized and likely pulled off just as effectively in the past. Thank you for your answer. I think to understand what you mean. Maybe it's also my disappointment about that TR really can't to more and I had the unconcsious naive illusion that he can do it better, although I know about the difficulties with interscope etc.
I try to face the bigger picture and actually I'm really good in it, though here I can't see it actual, because the thing lacks a lot in its "only for advanced".
I don't like classifications!
I'm also sad for others who downloaded and tried, that it can't be seen anyway with windows, but perhaps with a lot of complications.

Once more NIN divides the fans into classes: the "advanced" and the "novices". There's an arrogance in it, imo. And if you don't see it you must be "blind".
I would do it by myself a fucking dvd of HD footage etc., but I have not the money for an apple or for a 400GB external drive or the software, so NIN forces me to be depended on other fans, when I want to be a real fan or just wants to see some fucking live footage of the band or whatever(understand or bitch!), and I don't like being forced on anything.
What the "advanced" fans do in this dvd project is great, I mean that.
Though for "purists" it's not a favor, ...oh wait, I am not advanced, have no mac or space for 400GB, how can I be a purist for NIN? Just liking the band, liking originals instead of liking being forced into the fan-community. Thought it should be fun being in the NIN community, not that NIN makes me a "to-have-to".

Ok, so you can't do anything with this one. That must be a bit frustrating. But given the history of what was meant to happen with making a record of this tour, is it not better for everyone that there is now a way of doing it that wasn't there before? What if there had been no news and it was worked on in secret then the dvd appeared at a later date? Would that have been better? Because the chances are it wouldn't have happened and none of us would be any further forward, including you.

I'm just saying, maybe take a look at the bigger picture here.
