The Chief then looked at the cop who was investigating the accident, and he said "yup, that's 100% correct". The Chief then asked my name and said I'm gonna have a bright future in forensics.

This incident has become legend at my office, and the day I signed my contract to stay on staff the Chief presented me with a framed copy of the autopsy photo of the CD. I would have had the band sign it at one of the meet and greets I attended this summer, but I didn't want to lug it around AND I didn't want to creep them out by a CD with brains on it.

And yes, I did get to hear the Downward Spiral performed twice so I definitely am not bitching about that. Its just that, as much as I love Detroit for certain aspects of my job, the complete lack of respect and professional courtesy shown by the lawyers is truly appalling. The thing that burns my ass more than anything else is wasting my time, because I don't have that much of it left and I want to make the most of what I have.
