anyway, if trent plays the same show like yesterday, I dont't think it's worth the money to attend the show. Well, I would, but it's quite disappointing indeed.
In the last year since July, I was attending every single NIN show of the Lights In The Sky Tour via youtube. It was amazing and gave me hope to see such an amazing show in Europe as well. 31 songs, great highlights, just a perfect show.
Now I checked on yesterday's show to learn, that it's a 20 song show without a keyboarder, the beautiful last experience with "in this twilight" I was longing for disappeared, he didn't even perform "Closer". The georgeous light effects disappeared as well.
So in my opinion, Trent doesn't care about his fans in Europe, Asia, and Australia, he cares about his fans in America... shows them the great side of NIN, we're getting the rest. thx.
I would rather choose regular shows than festivals too.
But did you really think that they would bring all those massive equipment and sets from LITS to European tour? It would be awesome, true, but extremely expensive and time-consuming and hard to put that plan into practice. It's not about "not caring about European fans", it's more an economic choice, I think.
After all, isn't this what Trent promised? a stripped-down, simple tour with no extra fuss, just music and great atmosphere.
I would have loved to see LITS-show, but I think this kind of tour can be great too, I'm excited.
