I.D. Accepted On The NIN|JA Arena Tour UK

Okay so scouting through the threads for both the shows at the MEN Arena in Manchester on July 14 and The O2 Arena in London on July 15 i saw a few people asking about identification accepted by each of these venues as they had purchased their tickets through the nin.com presale or via Ticketmaster's or any other provider's 'Will Call' service. After contacting both of these venues myself, i am going to tell you what will definitely be accepted as valid forms of I.D. to pick up your tickets for the respective show. Both venues provided the same list, so if its not on here, get one of these forms of identification ASAP.

I.D. Accepted:

- United Kingdom or Ireland passport
- United Kingdom or Ireland drivers' licence (provisional or full)
- Any I.D. cards displaying the PASS hologram

THE O2 ARENA WILL DEFINITELY NOT ACCEPT PHOTOCOPIED VERSIONS OF ANY OF THE ABOVE, THE MEN ARENA WEREN'T 100% BUT DON'T RISK IT I'D SAY.

If any of you guys or girls have any questions don't be afraid to PM me. Notice to admin/mods: please don't lock or delete this as it could be a vital source of information for those attending these two concerts.

I do not know about any over Nine Inch Nails nor Jane's Addiction events in Europe or the United States, sorry.

Thanks thumbs up

I would PM, but to be honest I'd rather throw it out there.

Do you know if the address on the ID has to be the same as the shipping address for the tickets? My driving license is 10 years old eye rolling smiley

And thanks for making me think about that, in case I need to get it changed.

Addresses on your ID won't matter at all. Because just think, no address on a passport so why would they be bothered about an address on just another form of ID. Don't worry as long as its you on the little piccy and that name matches with the name on the envelope with your tickets in your sorted. I speak from experience having collected by NIN tickets at the venue when i saw em in orlando, usa.

I simply took along the card I used to purchase the tickets the last time I picked up tickets on the night of a gig at the MEN (about two years ago though). I'd definitely take along my driving licence & perhaps a utility bill with your address on as well, or any listed in the OP. Although I might be a bit chary of carrying my passport into a mosh pit! winking smiley

@hybrid756 - I would get a new licence if I were you - from experience of being pulled over for speeding by the local constabulary. They got a bit snotty with me as mine still had an old address on it confused smiley

Thanks Tom, that's really useful! I'm going to take my provisional license along.

Yeah, I'll take my provisional. I do not feel comfortable taking my passport to a gig, hah.

Thanks very much smiling smiley

And I don't have a car right now, and it's due to be renewed next year anyway, so I'll probably just do it then.

Wouldn't want to take my passport to a gig either... the one time it leaves the house I'd lose it!

Haha, if they took expired passports as ID I'd do that, but I am not sure I'm willing to risk it.
