If you can't afford an entire VIP package, but would be interested in splitting the cost in half with someone, please list:

1. What show or shows you are going to
2. What price VIP package you would be willing to pay half for
3. The way you want to be contacted by someone who is interested(PM, etc)

This idea was given to me by christyccarter and jschmaltz.

I am going to the Camden NJ show with two friends. I want to take part in this unique once in a lifetime opportunity to meet TR and company. Is there anyone who wants to go and can afford to pay 500.00 for the 1000.00 VIP package? I have cancer and have not been able to work as much lately so I can’t afford the full 1000. I can however come up with 500. Details can be worked out. I am an honest person and this is not a scam. I’m an avid NIN fan and have been for years and don’t want to miss out on this. I'm interested in splitting a $1,000 VIP for either the Paris or Amsterdam shows. PM me if interested. I would split the $300 for Paris, but have my heart set on the $1,000 for Amsterdam, since it will be my last show of the tour.

Yeah, 'cause we all here want to split packages for the exact show you originally wanted to... NOT. For the record, that guy right there and that girl right there have received PMs/replies. A thread bumped 4 days since its creation doesn't mean it's going to the shitter. The topic is very relevant now obviously.

I'm constantly disappointed with the majority of the nin DOT COM community, like posts like yours.

Im sorry you didnt have any luck but several people did. Ive even read at least one article where a guy bought the $300 package and gave away his guess pass to someone just waiting at the venue. The fact that things like that happen (let alone the fact that the NIN community has raised several hundreds of thousands of dollars to help save someones life, which what this is all really about anyways) proves to me that the nin community is far from selfish. The only reason no more US meet up donations are even being taken is because the demand was too huge-- which is an amazing thing.

I am a little disappointed in you though. This is about something greater than did you get to meet Trent or not. You had your chance like everyone else, but because you couldnt find anyone, youre condeming an entire community of people... pretty selfish.

I hope that others realize that most of the people that did a donation package probably already had someone in mind when they picked it up. Going to a show is always funner when you go with a friend, so theres probably not alot of people that want to do something like this for just one ticket. The pool is even smaller when youre talking about just one show. That kind of turns it into one of those things where its worth trying for if you cant afford a full donation on your own, but you cant possibly be mad at everyone on nin.com just because you couldnt find that one other person that wants to go to the same show as you but doesnt have a friend to go with.
