Goddammit Trent why did you have to stop just as I was getting into you.

November 18th 2008 in Columbus Ohio. I drove from home in Illinois the night before to see them. I went solo as I knew no one who listened to the band. This was also just 10 months after I first introduced myself to them. I consider myself lucky that I decided to check the band out when I did as I made it just in time for the LITS tour and the Wave Goodbye tour. After that, I went on to see two more shows in Chicago during the Wave Goodbye tour.

May Something 1999 or 2000. MSG show where Manson made a very unnecessary cameo.

21st May 2005, Atlanta. Their super-awesome "Club Tour."

It was a bitter battle to get tickets, but to have that small venue experience? SO worth it! grinning smiley

First and ONLY one I've ever been too. Damn Australia for being too damned remote!
This consert was supposed to be in May but was postponed for September (was kinda okay for it. Got the tickets for an early b'day pressy and the concert ended up being a week after the actual day.) Would have loved to have gone to another but fuck me if they don't decide not to do another one out here!

Philipshalle Duesseldorf, germany

My first concert of all time, beside school projects and local festivals. I started with high standards. ^__^

I'm yet to see them. sad smiley

Would have been going to one of the Manchester shows in 2009 but a buddy of mine spent too long debating whether or not he could come, and of course, by the time tickets rolled around and sold out, he still hadn't made up his mind. I'll silently never forgive him for that, as the setlists looked perfect.

Still hopeful of course that Trent is persuaded to pull the old gear on and take NIN round the block a few more times once he's recharged his mojo with these other (admittedly awesome) side projects.

My first NIN concert was back in 2005 in Philly. I was 15 and it was the first concert I ever went to. I was so excited I cried during the show, fangirl moment.

02/29/12 8:32 AM

Madison Square Garden in November 2005. I was waaayyyy in the back in the stands, but dead center. The show looked spectacular from there. So did Trent. I was blown away by the power and emotion emanating from that man. It reached all the way across the arena and grabbed me by the chest. That started a 37-show odyssey over the next 4 years, ending for me in Chicago in August 2009. I had some of the best times in my life following NIN around the North East.

NIN is part of my life but...there is so much else in the world that is equally or in some cases more interesting (No offense intended Mr. Reznor/NIN). NIN has it's place and has really helped me through a lot, but I've always tried to just focus on keeping everything in "balance" really... not always
