Due to them not touring indefinetly I wanted to get you guys to scream at the top of your lungs which tour you liked to most and why!

Ive only seen them once and Bauhuas opened up for them. Summer of 06, WT had just came out. Good show out at the Woodlands, but woulda liked to see em at the Toyota Center. The crowd was kinda lame. Even though it was a WT tour they still played some older things. Closer Terrible lie were a few of the wonderful tracks peppered in they stelist, and Somewhat damaged opened up that bad boy. Only complaint was the crowd was tamer than a fixed dog. Aside from another guy that rocked out with me, thank god for that dude. Still that night KICKED ASS.

Also currently watching 10. The Warning - This One Is On Us presents "Another Version Of The Truth : The Gift" on youtube. Been amazing so far

01/05/10 1:15 PM

I only saw two, but I'll say Lights in the Sky. It was very nicely put together, and perfectly executed. The NIN camp should be proud of that tour, it was fantastic.

01/05/10 1:22 PM

Does anyone know where i can get Another version of the truth tour in MP3 only?

01/05/10 1:40 PM

LITS for sure. It was the first concert that I have been to that really 'breaks free' of the classic concert feel - the light show first of all is just phenomenal and must have taken lots of work and idealistic people to put together. Second, as I was standing in an audience of thousands (and my venue was a smaller one of the tour) I couldn't help but think to myself how amazing it was to stand in front of Nine Inch Nails, and to be treated to EVERY ERA OF THEIR MUSIC they have created. I mean, LITS was a fantastic treat and gave viewers a taste of almost all of NIN's music throughout the years. There was the regular PHM and TDS songs being played, but there were also plenty of With Teeth, YZ, The Fragile, and The Slip. I honestly couldn't have asked for more.

LITS hands down was the best concert I've ever seen of any band live.

After watching TOIOUS I must thank the fans. To the hours of dedication edting and re-editing, nIn fans truly are the greatest fan base out there. Thank you for supporting and understanding Nine inch nails over the years and direction the band has gone in. Trent has to be thrilled to see that we, the fans (his fans more importantly) have gone through such great lenghts to do this. Everyone at TOIOUS i thank you from the bottom of my heart. I am very proud to be a Nin fan.

I'd have to say 'Beside You in Time Tour' fall leg in 2005 in Edmonton Alberta the crowd went wild well so wild they ripped down the stage baracade...lol..no lie either the stopped the show for 20 minutes and Trent got pissed off at the security...awesome show!!!

01/09/10 7:57 PM

Every tour i've been able to attend concerts for (from Fragility era until the end), I have to say that each one was special for me...

But I think that "Lights In The Sky", for the visuals and light show, was pretty damn incredible.

01/11/10 3:21 AM

LITS was definitely amazing..

My favorite as far as performance goes was the NIN|JA tour.. I had the chance to be on the side of the stage for the show and the daytime, white light style and great setlist sets it one to #1 for me forever..

01/11/10 8:29 AM

NINJA tour just because i finally got to rock out to Last.

01/11/10 1:07 PM

All of the tours I've seen have a place in my soul. I think Fragility is where I finally realized NIN was my favorite touring band .. ever.

But .. the Wave Goodbye Club Tour was great from a set list/"this is it" perspective. Bowery and Webster Hall were very special to me.

01/30/10 10:09 PM

i've only been to one NIN show, and that was on the LITS tour, so i'll say lights in the sky was the best

comparing between the different DVDs and live performances i've listened to/watched bootlegs of, i'd say the second-best is probably the fragility tour since they played 4 of my 5 favorite NIN songs on that tour

01/30/10 10:10 PM

Fragility and Wave Goodbye Club Tour are about tied. Although they've all been good. Had the most fun in 2008-2009 on LITS/NINJA/WG. Had the best shows at Webster, Holmdel, and West Palm.

It's kind of depressing thinking about all these things in the past, never to be repeated.

01/30/10 10:25 PM

Oh man! I see I'm not alone on the LITS fav. tour. As a long time fan, I had yet to see em' live till then. Let me scream!!!!!!!! (again) Second most important event of my life! The experience is still so rich in my mind, that I can not find the words...
Well okay, ya I can... I am truly grateful. It was like living in a dream that was too good to be true! That moment still gives me the kisses of that eve.

01/31/10 2:03 AM

LITS, hands down

01/31/10 8:56 AM

For the longest time I didn't think anything could knock Dissonance with Bowie out of my #1 spot, then Webster Hall happened!smiling smiley

01/31/10 2:30 PM

having seen multiple dates of EVERY NIN tour, i'll put in my 2 cents.

best overall TOUR was LITS. thought and effort went into every second of that tour and the end result reflected that.

however, i have a fondness for the 90-91 club tours. you just knew watching them that bigger and better things were yet to come, and there was this element of fun. first time drummer and kit gets heaved into the audience. few months later drummer is in a cage, so guitarist and bassist get heaved. few months later everyone but Trent is in the cage. few months after that you got bungee Trent flying into the audience.

Fragility tour always has a place in my heart, though honestly i was really fucked up during this period (as apparently were some of the band members) and i wonder if the actual shows would hold up today or not.

Wave Goodbye club tour, simply for the setlists and the fever pitch of the audience.

and gotta add, i LOVED the MBM/Manson, Autolux/QOTSA, and Peaches/Bauhaus openers. made every second of the show a fucking blast and not just killing time til NIN.

03/05/10 12:08 PM

Wave Goodbye club tour...simply because the set lists were oh so good.
TDS straight through. That's all I'm saying.

03/05/10 12:14 PM

ok, LITS was fucking epic, but my fav is still The Fragility Tour. The Great Below live was one of my favorite memories ever.

03/18/10 3:22 AM

For me, it has to be LITS. Fragility was amazing, and Wave Goodbye -- best setlists ever. But LITS was an unreal experience.

03/18/10 6:21 AM

My favourite one is Fragility.

The 3 screens were beautiful and there was a strange mix of wild-and-epic created by the band and the songs wich was absolutely awesome.
Plus, the setlists, oriented on my favourite album.
To be honest I watch with more pleasure Fragility videos than other tours'.

I couldn't attend this tour because I was 10 and didn't know anything about music, but last year the Wave Goodbye in Rome brought Somewhat Damaged, La Mer, The Fragile, The Day The World Went Away and Gone Still...I can say I'm completely satisfied anyway.

(but I just can IMAGINE how amazing a live experience of LITS Tour would have been)

I'm not sure I can pick a favorite tour. I can definitely pick favorite moments from tours I've seen though:

BYIT: When the screen dropped down for the visuals for Eraser and Right Where It Belongs.
LITS: Ghosts Piggy (and the light show in general being stupefying).
NINJA: Finally seeing Mr. Self Destruct (and then the Mic not working and Trent smashing stuff)
WG Club Tour: Finally seeing Ruiner.

The W_T club tour. Brutality at its finest

04/05/10 10:57 AM

That final wave of small venue shows was awesome, and it contained my favorite show ever, but I would say Lights in the Sky was my favorite tour. It had the best band line-up, the best visuals. Trent was in good form and really played to the audience. The crowds seemed to contain more serious music fans. The old fans who hated With Teeth had dropped out by then and were replaced by a less violent and less pretentious group. Fewer assholes made for a better experience out in line and in the pit. I made good friends on that tour and had the best time.

NIN/JA was my least favorite. The donation business was distracting and the band didn't always seem present. Trent may have also been distracted by something else. I am thankful, however, to have experienced Street Sweeper Social Club. And Dave Navarro - what a riot. And Perry. Love that Perry. Okay, maybe NIN/JA wasn't my least favorite after all.

Least favorite: Summer 2006. Pretentious assholes galore! Spiral cluster fucks. The meet and greets of the With Teeth tour faded into lots of waiting around for nothing. Sunburn. NIN flu. That was a rough summer. The shows themselves though, were really great. Trent and the band were HOT! Peaches was awesome. Crazy Uncle Peter…well, it was interesting. And how cool were those mini-concerts? Least favorite patron experience, not concert experience.

04/05/10 2:54 PM

I saw one with teeth show, 3 2007 performances and 3 wave goodbye shows (no JA).

I think I'd have to go with the 2007 performances. It was the time around the year zero ARG, with USB sticks found in the venue's bathrooms. The whole year zero atmosphere was really something extra compared to the other tours.

Lots of rare songs played (first ever performance of last, resurface of ruiner, ...)
Also to be able to see NIN in smaller clubs was amazing.

Even though the stage lights were not very extravagant, the UFO lights during Eraser were the most brilliant stage lights in any NIN show. Shows that simple can work equally well. Didn't attend any LITS show though, but after seeing the dvd I feel some of the light show is distracting, especially during the big come down.

The Pukkelpop 2007 festival show, where NIN headlined with tool, was legendary.

Based on the dvd's (woodstock 64, AATCHB, beside you in time, AVOTT), I'd say fragility would be my favorite. My favorite line up, and obviously lots of fragile songs which is my favorite nin album

I'll go with the With Teeth tour of 2006. It had Jeordie and Aaron North (which I enjoyed so much more than Robin...his half-assed playing really fucking pissed me off on the later shows I saw live and the Downward Spiral concert and the other big taped show). I also loved watching Saul Williams open....though having QOTSA was pretty kick-ass in 2005.

Seriously, I think I may be the only one who couldn't stand Robin on stage that last time around. He screwed up a lot on the recordings, and didn't do all that great at Voodoo Fest. So, sorry Robin fans, but he sorta sucked.

05/26/10 8:20 AM

Performance 2007. It was tense, rough and violent. The whole ARG was in the air and the band sounded raw. The design was minimal on the Winter Leg, but the mood of the shows were ominous.

LITS, the effects were awesome and got to hear something from every album, also the last NIN shows I saw...(was laid off during WG and was unable to go, I knew I should have maxed out my credit cards, but noooooo, I had to be all responsible and shit, damn it)
