Would of course be nice if they came over closer to the sound, like maybe Everett or Seattle as well! All you who don't want to go out to the Gorge, it is so worth it..absolutely jaw dropping venue. I'm pretty sure they'll also be going to the Clark County Amphitheater, which is a lot closer to where I live. However, the Clark Country Amphitheater is kind of boring because there's no pit, and I can't imagine seeing NIN with seat tickets (up in the front at least). This is as far as I know the closest they will be coming to where I live...Victoria BC. Anyone want to PM me as to get a group together to drive down or bus it somehow from Van island and Vancouver. I cannot afford this on my own to drive, and if I could bus it maybe but I wouldn't want to be alone the whole time! I have been a huge fan of Jane's addiction since I first heard them and still rock to their music to this day! Wow having my 2 fave bands same venue? That would be incredible! I was reading their site and it seems you have to get premier parking to get into the early entry line. Anybody have a clue? I have to say waiting for dates is killing me. I thought I had a week to decide whether I wanted to fly out to this show (and talk my hubby into it). But, if I can get a pre-sale password I have much less time than that. I wish the other dates would get posted soon, so I could figure out what to do...

The Gorge is fucking beautiful, but I don't want to get stuck a mile away from the stage! NIN.com usually doesn't hold presales for festivals, but this one says tba. Anyone know what's going on with that? I'm thinking it might just be a mistake. Also, at the Gorge there are the 3 "pit" sections up by the stage (sections a, b and c), but up on their site right now, they are saying all tix will be GA! How do we get the pit tix?

This means that if you want to get as close as possible you have to make it into this cordoned off area a couple bands before the headliner. There is a 'floor' area behind the barred off pit which is sloping towards the stage so even if you don't get into the pit you have really good views. The lawn is a great place to sit and take it all in if that's your thing and the view from up there looking down into the gorge is really spectacular. Hope this answers your questions about the venue. I'm really excited for this, last year I got to dance onstage with the Flaming Lips so Sasquatch has great connotations in my head. NIN will be fabulous, i'm sure.
