I don't think it'll be uncomfortably hot, but even if it is it'll be worth it to hear them in the theatre. I've seen two shows at the Ford (Rush and Radiohead) and the sound was fantastic, much better than at the Times Forum (saw NIN and Depeche Mode), where the music seemed too loud and bassy. Different shows, of course, which may have been part of it, but I've always found ampitheatres to have superior sound for concerts (that's what they're designed for, right?).
Yeah never been to a live show outdoors before, except that amphitheatre next to the Hilton in Daytona. Although that was just some band playing that I really didn't come there for. Was just having drinks at Adobe Gillas and walking around outside, lol.
**Actually come to think of it I did in fact go to a show in the Tampa/St. Petersburg area but not quite sure where it was. It was outdoors and next to a body of water, pretty big venue though. It was some kind of rock fest for a radio station back in 2001 I believe. I had been under the influence of a few things and can't remember much but I know I was there wherever it was! Any idea? lol
