I'm surprised about the Austin show. I heard the energy just wasn't there from the crowd. From my experience, the best shows have always been in the small venues. I caught the Key Club show on the With Teeth tour, and the show last fall at the House of Blues, Atlantic City and both shows were off the fucking hook! Seriously, the best NIN shows I've seen. I've never been disappointed by a NIN show, but the smaller shows are always more tribal. A great exchange of energy between the band & audience...less disconnect than the big shows.

Pre-sale tickets can be picked up any time after 4:00pm at the designated JanesAddiction.com Will Call window which will be located at the box office, which is on the Casino floor. For parking, there are two lots both at equal distance to the theatre. Legal ID, matching the name printed on your tickets, will be required for pick-up. Instead, they are playing at Wasted Space on Sunday night. I just got an e-mail about getting on the guest list. If you want to go to the show (free of charge), just e-mail RSVP@hartswastedspace.com with the Subject: Street Sweeper. I was put on (me + guest) no problems. I'm not sure how many people they have space for, but it's worth a shot. Just figured I'd pass along the tip. SSSC killed last night in Phoenix...a bombastic 30 minute set! And yes NIN and JA were freaking fantastic & high energy as well.

Especially given the tickets cost about double what they are in other cities. But, if you are in Vegas on Sunday night and can get on the guest list, a full free set from SSSC more than makes up for it.
