Hey Everyone!

Just want to put a reminder out there about the Pigs 'n Whores Blog!!

If you can give/need a ride, can give/need a couch, will share/need a hotel - you may be able to find it here. You can add yourself and what you need or you can browse the show you will be attending for people in need or offering help.

Just added the option to show you have a ticket for sale or you need a ticket for the show!!

You can also just add your name to the shows you are attending if you dont need anything.

Use it, abuse it...

Raz

Tis gonna be great!

I'll be the the blonde with the glasses. smiling smiley You going to be with maryelle? We're now coming in on Saturday. Maybe we can meet up before the soundcheck? So far for those who have talked about doing the $1000 package online for MI, I've counted about 10 people. I'm so glad we decided to come into MI on the Saturday though. It makes Sunday completely relaxing.

Settle down and let's move on. If anyone is that traumatized by getting "fucked" by me last night, PM me and I'll refund your money - and don't come back for more if you're that goddamned petty. (TR post about recent show)

I WANT TO BE TRAUMATIZED & FUCKED!!!!! I will NOT complain afterwards. LOL!!!

Haha, I think I'll be able to flag you down (coming across some pictures)... smiling smiley Shall I just call you Dingerz at first? lol.

That's right! I'll have been traveling with Maryelle, amongst other peeps. smiling smiley (but I don't believe she's doing a donation for this show)

I'm not 100% on being able to meet up before soundcheck and all, or at least not anywhere special outside of in the "charity line" (heh)... Just 'cause we'll have gone to the Indy show the night before and driven 3 hours back to home right after, so I'm not sure what time we'll be getting up on Sunday morning to make the drive. Early enough to make sure we're going to get our money's worth, that's a given! I'll definitely wanna allot more time than what's needed to get there 'cause you never know what could happen on a drive. Sounds like you're playing it safe. smiling smiley Oh well, if the backstage dinners are anything like the ones that have gone down so far (varies upon different venues, I'm sure), judging by pictures I've seen it looks to be like a nice place/time to hang out and chit-chat.

The show is only a week away! Pilgrimage and I are also going to the Noblesville show the night before, but we're staying in Indianapolis at a hotel that night, and we're just gonna aim to leave first thing in the morning to be up to DTE in a timely fashion. I think it's a 5 hour trip, so hopefully we'll leave around 7 or 8AM to be up there around 1PM. I doubt soundchecks are going to be that early or anything anyway.

This is gonna be awsome!!!!!

Yeah, I've had some of those moments where you know screen names but not the real name. I do happen to answer to "Dingerz" though I'll answer to "Tara" too. smiling smiley

Yes, I've been catching up on those pics and stories today. We can always meet up and chat then for sure.

Hey, anyone else in this thread who happened to be in the front row of the Grand Rapids show between Trent and Robin? I talked to many people as we waited all day in line and it would be neat to see some of you.

Anyways, hotel booked, everything done. Is it next Sunday yet? smiling smiley

Going to be a great show, I cant wait!!!

Pilgrimage and I actually met at the Grand Rapids show, and we were front row. She was closest to Trent in our group (since it was her first time seeing NIN and her first concert PERIOD, we figured it was only right to give her the best spot), and I was right in front of Robin. Dee, Zack, and Alan were between us. I know Alan is going to the DTE show, but I don't know about Dee and Zack. Haven't been able to get ahold of Dee, and Zack told me he was short on cash last time I talked to him.

There is a very good chance we are going to recognize each other! I was right in front of Robin too. (literally) So we might have stood next to each other. I think based on the soundcheck time it would be good to show up at the venue around 3pm to be safe.

05/25/09 2:35 PM

I'll be there with one of my good buddies who's been a NIN fan for a hell of a long time...I donated $300. Just sucks that my seats are SHITTY. Right QQ. I'll barely be able to see the damn stage from there!

05/25/09 5:36 PM

I have seats in RT row B, it looks like a pretty good view. I went to see Korn and Avenged Sevenfold a couple of weeks ago and my seats sucked I had RT ZZ, I might as well have got lawn and saved some money. I have never seen NIN live and am so excited. I also have 2 CTR3 tickets row P seats 17 and 18 pm me if interested. I have starlight lounge access, does anyone know what that includes.

I think it's more likely you might have stood closer to Pilgrimage since I think I'm probably remembering things wrong and I was probably farther to the right of Robin than my memory likes to tell me. LOL But yeah, we might recognize each other! It'll be cool hanging out with everyone again. smiling smiley

Hello ppl. One thing I want to say. Lets not be like the rest of the PIGS on past shows and complain about everything. This is the Midwest, the best fans are here. Lets act like them and give Trent and the Nails the best fucking audience a musical mastermind could want. Remember this will probable be the last time to see 'em so go and have fun. Hope to hear Ringfinger one last time.....PLZ!! See everyone in 6 days.

We also managed to avoid flying lighters for LITS...let's keep that going.

Gonna be there early with my buddy since I donated the $300. Can't wait.

Ok, thanks for the info. Has anyone ever had seats in the RT2 or Lt2 sections before, can you see the stage really well even though its on the side?

I third this. Trent gives and gives and gives to us, and you won't hear any complaining from me! I'd like to bring the band a thank you cake, but I doubt I'll be allowed to bring in outside food. Not to mention that they may not appreciate a cake made by some random girl... I might be able to bring NIN cupcakes, though, for those waiting in line outside the venue. Would anyone be interested in this?

05/26/09 10:31 AM

MMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMMMMMM Cup-cakes. Sounds good!!

I concur.

Sounds like a go, then! I'll make some chocolate cheesecake and some plain chocolate for lactose-intolerant peeps. I doubt I'll have more than 2 or 3 dozen, though, so if you want one, show up early! smiling smiley As I've said previously, my best guesstimate for arriving at the venue is 1PM. I'll likely be wearing a thisoneisonus.org Pointing Trent t-shirt, but that may change.

Hi Michigan NIN Fans....
so I've been dumped by the love of my life after forking out $200 for two pre-sale tickets to this show. I'm incredibly sad but really want to go to the show.
Needless to say, it appears that I have an extra ticket, but it would also be nice to be able to connect to some other people since I'll be going solo.....
My seats are in LT2, Row H.......let me know who will be around.....Thanks!!

05/26/09 4:39 PM

Im in the middle row zz seat 17 lol. Ill be solo too, feel free to say hi to an old man if ya wants lol (im 36 in august sad smiley )

The show is fast approaching. They have been advertising this show on the Palace/Pine Knob Billboard on I-75 almost non stop for over a month, and there have been alot of commercials on the radio this past weekend for it. I have a feeling that there are going to be some empty seats due to the economy and high unemployment rate in the area, but I hope I am wrong and they have a run on tickets this week.

We were able to get additional tickets in row MM RTC as a birthday gift for someone this weekend, so that leaves almost 15 rows behind her that may be empty still. The left and right section you could get even closer.

Either way, it will be a great show. I've noticed a couple setlists from this tour with Dead Souls and Mr. Self Destruct. I am hoping they play these in Clarkston as I havent heard these live.

Songs I havent heard live but hope to hear: Dead Souls, Mr. Self Destruct, La Mer, and Burn.

05/26/09 10:47 PM

I really enjoyed hearing Mr. Self Destruct in 2006 (?, I don't even remember anymore XD). I would love to hear it again.
