Excited! First NIN show, been a fan for more than a decade. Don't even care which songs are played, I'm just happy to have a chance to be there before Trent & Company take a deserving break.

04/30/09 6:14 PM

I got a question for some of you. I got stuck with 402's (A number of reasons, that I dont feel like getting into). How BAD are they REALLY? I have heard mixed reviews. some say they are not too bad, others say they are terrrible. Will i be able to hear ok? Or will it sound distorted.

Id rather not be in 400's (but partly since the buffalo show was cancelled), thats what i got dealt with...(and other reasons of course)

So how bad are they really?

04/30/09 6:33 PM

they aren't bad at all. I have watched many shows on the lawn even and there is nothing wrong with those.

04/30/09 6:37 PM

I haven't been there but if the 3D view is not lying too much, it shouldn't that bad. I'll be in the 400's too.

Please!!!!
If someone has tickets for the pit let me know!

05/01/09 10:32 AM

I have my ticket but... to be honest I am slightly worried about the new Swine Flu getting in the way.

We all will die, sooner or later. Be merry while you can (and while NIN allows you to :-) )

Now... where are my tickets? sad smiley

05/01/09 7:21 PM

Probably should have taken care of this sooner, but it's slipped my mind since a million other things have come up.

Is there anyone who is still looking to book a hotel room and doesn't mind sharing a room with two others? I'm coming in from Ann Arbor with one other person the day before and am looking to cut the lodging costs down. I've cross posted to EtS, but haven't gotten any hits. (Marodi, I'm still lookin' at you, girl!)

PM plz!

There is a new strain of flu every year. People are getting freaked out for nothing. Wash your hands like you have OCD and enjoy the show.

Looking forward to this show. The first NIN show I saw was 1995 at Maple Leaf Gardens (Jim Rose Circus Side Show opens for Marilyn Manson opens for NIN). Bought a scalped ticket for $50 at the last minute. Been a fan since 1989. I have all the Halos. Do you? winking smiley

I got 6 lawns for this show and just by random chance got a couple 201's today. Im all psyched up. Can't wait.

Does anyone have link(s) for some good video from this tour? Im looking for video taken from the audience showing the full stage because I want to see what the light show is going to be like.

BTW, I have seen shows at MA in both the 200's and lawns. If you are worried about lawns, dont be. they are great. you get a good view, the sound is still good and the social thing adds to the vibe. I have never been when its raining. I'd imagine that would be ok with an umbrella. No worries with lawns.

the tour hasnt started yet, and which seats are you going to be 200 or lawns?

05/04/09 9:03 PM

Bah! I go away for 3 days and Ticketmaster releases 200's! Gosh I'd been checking the site regularly for tickets till this weekend. Maybe more will come, otherwise we'll join those on the lawn

05/04/09 9:06 PM

I don't think there is going to be much of a light show for this tour. I think they are toning it down, all the spectacular light stage was for the "Light In The Sky" tour (which was stupendous). There was a post about how it was going to be much more toned down and intimate or something like that.

I saw them last time from lawns for the "With Teeth" tour and it was pretty fun, it give you a lot more freedom to walk around and do your own thing and just chill out without being confined or totally smothered (which can be fun, but still). I'd prefer lawns to 201s anyday - either way you are not right up at the stage - so why not enjoy the freedome of moving, sitting, lying down, having sex, touching yourself, touching other people, getting drunk, etc. smiling smiley

Well 29 now. And YES! I wish they play Zero-Sum to, it's like a beautiful serenade to the New World Order and nuclear holocaust overshadowing us. I also, hope for 'Down In It'! I personally have never seen that song performed live, or even that amazing intro rare song before 'Terrible Lie', 'Now I'm Nothing' - that song owns every man and woman's private parts.

Are you serious? Did you seriously look at how many cases there ACTUALLY ARE?
It's a hoax! Like SARS! Media hype!
You are aware that are around 500,000 fake news stories every year?!

05/05/09 2:01 AM

I'm looking for a ticket to this show. If anyone has extra please get in touch. I really want to go!!!

I've seen NIN a few times already, yeah... but was wondering if there's a decent amount of space on the lawn, if it has a decent view of the stage even from way back, etc..

I think the lawn area is fine, you get a decent view and the sound is good from anywhere. Plus you can lounge on the grass and spread out, the area is pretty big.

I've been on the lawn there for a few concerts (even in the rain, which was refreshing!), and really enjoyed it....

I just checked ticketmaster and they still have 201 YYs available! I already have 4 tickets in the 200s but I'm still trying to get rid of two SEC 403 Row J. I've had the tickets posted on craigslist at face value for a little while now... I'll likely have to sell them at a loss now!

05/05/09 8:55 PM

201s available? Wow. I wonder how close it is to sell out. I got my tix off here and can't remember where they are. Not in the pit but first few rows I think. I'm excited. I just hope I don't go into labour at the show cause that would really suck LOL

05/05/09 9:18 PM

I just got 201's, heh came on here to tell people there are some available in the last 2 rows of 201 but ya beat me to it! Usually Robin Finck plays on the left side of the stage, anyone know if this is the case for this tour? He's my favourite smiling smiley
