Sometimes they'll just say "You're not supposed to bring those in" but not actually take them away. With drink bottles though they won't let you take full ones in.

how big of a backpack to they allow in?

Check out this thread: [forum.nin.com]

I think the presale info will come out a day or two before the show.

I didn't get my e-mail about the Toronto date last year until the day of the show. I'm sure we'll get it soon.

Well, I always bring a mini/half-size backpack and have no trouble getting it in. As for a full sized one I really don't know, but I do know most venues don't like big stuff brought in, and specifically say no backpacks (though mini ones are always fine, as they're no bigger than some women's purses), so I'd stick to a mini-backpack if I were you. Mine's about 16 inches high and 12 inches wide, max.

Also, if you plan to be in a rough area of general admission, twist-tie the zippers shut or something as the jumping up and down in the crush will make them come undone as happened to me in the last Hamilton show. I'm amazed my wallet and cell didn't fall out as the whole thing and pockets ended up wide open! tongue sticking out smiley

And the show is now sold out (if you count Ticketmaster not having any tickets left sold out).

I've been checking to see what tickets are still available for the past few weeks and there was nothing last night and today. I did manage to get a Section 203 row F the other day though.

If anybody wants a Section 203 row Z ticket for face value PM me.

I really hope they play
Now I'm Nothing!!!

I know it's a long shot but if anyone's willing to split the cost of their VIP package, send me a pm. Thanks!

so pissed that there are no more donations being taken! Unfortunately Toronto gets sucked into the US market. Dammit! Was planning on donating today since I just got paid, and get the shut down! disappointing to say the least! I think I may need a heart transplant myself. Doubtful, considering everyone else requesting this as well, but if anyone has donated the $300 and would like a bit of help, I'll fork out the $150 no problem! Even buy ya a damn beer too!

wish we would have been given a heads up about the donations being cut off. All I needed was a one hour heads up!

How about since there are still so many of us wanting to get in on the action we tally up the amount of donations still waiting to come through from all of us generous Canadians and give Trent a bit of incentive to get something worked out for us! This last page alone looks like there are a few people still wanting to help out!

Yes more people still want to help out but the fact is they can not accomodate more people for m/gs/backstage. There are a lot of people who donated, I being one of them. It sucks that are no more packages available but you can still donate for the Still/Skateboard thing. I donated early cause I knew this would be huge and thankgod it is for Erics sake but asking Trent for more is a waste...he is giving a lot and can not accomodate anymore..it's not just cause the Americans generated so much ppl..this show has as well.

I'm coming across the border from Buffalo. WIll be first Canadian show. Will American money be accepted for merch?

PS another question. who else is going into the show with the shitty ticketmaster print-out tickets? I'm always uneasy with these things because they in no way resemble a ticket.

To the best of my knowledge, they will accept American money. I don't know if they are going to handle the exchange rate though; this is where you might be f-up because $1 US is worth more than $1 CAN. If they take it at face value (meaning $1 US = $1 CAN)you will end up losing money in the end.

And a mini-rant while I'm at it: why don't they accept credit cards? At the prices the merch is and with the quantity they end up selling, I'm sure it would be cost efficient!

05/29/09 11:15 PM

I know, that really would make the whole problem go away. And hopefully they don't sell out before i get there. Opening the doors a half hour earlier than previously specified and my running late aint gonna help my chances of getting a good dateback t shirt.

05/29/09 11:44 PM

Driving from Detroit with missayla. Will be in town by Monday evening. Look for the crazy redhead in the blindoldfreak shirt (I will helicopter on demand for any and all Twitterbitches).

I have one pre-sale GA ticket. PM if interested.

Maybe you already know, but in case you don't, you can use your ATM card at ATMs in Canada and get out Canadian funds from your U.S. bank account - it will charge you a small fee, but its handy, if you can find a Scotiabank or TD Canada trust or other atm. The venue probably has ATMs but you can stop somewhere along the way and then you'll be set in case it doesn't.

05/30/09 7:16 AM

OK here's my deal, I have 1 GA Floor/pit presale ticket, but I'm going to hang with my mates on the lawn instead, so I'm offering up the presale ticket cheap (less then face value probably) so if anyone out there is interested in working something out with me send me a PM and we can figure out the details

05/30/09 8:44 AM

So, with the donations packages for North America being sold out, is it just the dinner/backstage packages that have been sold out, or are all the $300 dollar ones sold out too?

Yes, this.

The Chicago show oversold packages. It's probably situations like last night that they are trying to avoid. Processing the donors, even down to under a minute each autograph & photo still took us well into SSSC's set (before dinner).

Per folks backstage, the next largest one is going to be Toronto, so it's already probably going to feel very crowded and rushed. The NIN camp will do what they can, but... that is often limited by venue.

Also... donors DID have last minute cancellations at the venue, so, you might be able to become someone's new plus one if you're there early enough to get the offer. It's a risk, but, better than no options at all.

Most shows I've been to lately do accept credit cards for merch. Though it's been awhile since I've been to Molson Amphitheatre.
