I've asked before, but I didn't get a response...does anyone know if there's anywhere to park within a mile or so of the venue? I'm all for walking half an hour each way if it means I'm not crammed into the parking lot, but seeing as I live 400 miles from the venue, I don't exactly know the area well.

I want to buy seats now. I don't think a short kid is going to make out very well on the lawn, regardless of how early I get there. Anybody wanna sell for a low price? Lol.

section 5, row v, seat 1. probably not the best seat in the world, but i'm still going to be able to hear the music from back there...

i'm mostly just concerned about driving home that late at night...i'm sure i'll be fine, though

You'll be fine, and you're going to have an awesome time. Let peeps here know if you want to meet up/hang out before the show. I'm going to be there, and always willing to say hey to a fellow NIN fan and shoot the shit for a few minutes.

The Premier Parking ticket I purchased says the lots will open up at 3PM on show day. They should let people start lining up around then for the will-call window, supposedly.

So does that mean they will turn away anyone who shows up earlier than 3 p.m. to line up? I was thinking of calling to ask them about this. Also, I'm taking the commuter rail to Mansfield, and since it's the middle of fucking nowhere, I wouldn't want to show up early and be told I couldn't line up for a few hours.

Bear in mind my use of the word "supposedly." It should be okay for people taking other means of transportation, to get into the facility earlier. It's just that the parking lots themselves won't be open until 3PM (though it's also possible that the outside lots on the street, which charge for parking, may be open just before that). I have no idea if taxis and other non-parking cars will be let into the lot, before 3PM, to discharge passengers.

For you, I suppose it would be alright to come by earlier, just not too early (an hour or so before should be okay, but not too much beyond that). If you have any doubts or other questions, by all means call the facility and ask them.

I'll be there tailgating nice and early.. I make famous grilled steak tips!! If anyone goes early to tailgate, send me a message and i'll save you some tips.

I know there are some houses along the road to the venue. Some of these people have set up quite the little business for themselves letting people park in their yard for a fee.

It's usually not too huge. It takes up about 15 or so rows worth of seats. Maybe its bigger for different shows but all the ones I've been to it has been pretty small. Maybe even less than 15...more like 10?

Well if you sit on the edge of the lawn. Or do you mean pit...?

05/09/09 9:09 PM

I thought there was no pit for this show at this venue for some reason. There were no pit tickets only lawn tickets. Do you know anything about this?

Yeah. You noticed that, eh? Sucks when you're one of the laid-off! But hell if that stopped me from buying pre-sale pit tickets! I didn't realize VIP parking was available. I am going to check that out now!

Where/when did you buy tickets? Pit was available for all of a minute or two through the NIN.com presale, and at least a day on the JA.com presale. None were available during the general public sale, though.

Interesting...if it's less than the massive fee for "VIP" parking, that may be worth it. Alternately, anyone know if you can park on the curb on Arnold Palmer Blvd?

If anyone finds out about this for sure, could you post it here? I'll just aim for 3, but if I could get there earlier, I'd like to.

Ohhh. Well I must have bought my tickets too late. I would give an arm and a leg for pit tickets, or even seats, because I'm absolutely screwed on the lawn. At least I'm going though, I suppose.

FYI:
It looks like the closest motel/hotel to this venue is a red roof inn, so i will be staying there and then hoofing it to the arena. Its 2 miles, but I'm so jazzed up at show time, it'll be good to burn the excess energy. Plus no drinking/driving. I thought it was a brilliant plan, so I thought I'd share with all of ya'll. See ya there!

I'm sorry if this has already been asked, but is there anywhere to park outside of the venue? At Spac in Saratoga, there is a picnic area in the back where you can hang out all day and you just have to walk up a trail to get to the ampitheater.

05/10/09 3:58 PM

I'll be there nice and early, tailgating, I make some mean steak tips, if your there early enough I'll save some for anyone who wants some.

05/10/09 8:11 PM

If anybody wants to buy 2.lawn tix I have 2 and I'll ship them but I gotta sell them quick

05/10/09 11:38 PM

If anyone needs tickets, I have two available. I bought myself two through the JA presale, and two through NIN, but my friends backed out and aren't going. They're section 8, row K, 15+16. I would like to get the $153 I originally paid for them.

05/11/09 12:29 PM

PMed---i'd love to take them off yr hands, but am curious about pre-sale snags.

otherwise, definitely looking for two seats. proximity is negotiable, so long as they aren't lawn! i've found a few on craigslist, going for more than they're worth from unscrupulous folks, and can only seem to buy one at a clip from livenation, which is no good for a pair of old friends who want to sit together. lawn is dead last option, so anyone with seats, be in touch!

Can anyone tell me where exactly the will call booth is located? I have not been there since i saw the cure there in 2000.

Does anyone happen to have two extra tickets (pit or seats) to this show? I was at the Atlanta show last night, and missed half of the NIN set due to the presale mess. Now I am planning a trip to Boston around this show, and would love to have good seats AND see the whole set! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Court

keep checking trent's twitter and send an email to musictoday documenting your situation. Word is trent has plans to hook up people who got screwed by the presale mess

Alright all you going alone/solo peeps. I took the plunge too-- couldn't get anyone to go with so I'm going alone too [besides, going with non-NIN fans has the potential for weirdness] -- Section 8 Row V Seat 16, off to the side but kinda close to the "middle" -- come say HI!, I'll be wearing my old school ALT.MUSIC.NIN "Reznor Heaters" t-shirt (If I can find the thing!)

The the 3d seating chart on Comcast Center's Official Site plus the awesome seat numbering chart posted earlier (thx!!) was super helpful in making me feel good about the spot I grabbed. Fricking refreshed the Live Nation site a hundred times and had 2 different browsers going to make-abso-fucking-lutely-sure I got the best seats I could randomly get.

So I'm psyched-- the other posters who also said they were going solo in this forum gave me the impetus to click the mouse, so thanks for sharing...prior to this show I've only seen NIN in arenas in Florida [where I left all my NIN peeps], so I'm looking forward to the outdoors experience-- this is going to be awesome people!!!
