Seen a lot of people bashing the Heiniken Music hall, and I'm just curious what is wrong with it, since I've never been there before.

Been there once to see Velvet Revolver. The hall is famous for its amazing sound quality, but I acknowledge it does not have a very nice atmosphere like for example Paradiso in Amsterdam has. It's a very modern music hall, and I think it will fit Trent and the guys

I agree, the sound is amazing, but places like paradiso have an atmosphere the HMH will never have.
Have seen some great shows there though (nick cave, zappa plays zappa, arcade fire, placebo),and what always amazes me is how easy it is to get close to the stage (just show up an hour before the doors open et voila)

uuhmm 44+ 4,40 servicekosten... doesn't that make 48,40??? same as presale.

it's right that that hmh is not as cosy as paradiso but hey how could you make a venue for 5500 people cosy, right? it's a good venue, enough space and seatings with good sight on the stage.
yes i liked the concert at paradiso but it's also nice to see nin with a bigger crowd as well this time. we can be there all at once instead of spread out over 3 gigs.

Not from The Hague, but from Eindhoven and also bought my ticket on my own because I couldn't convince anybody to come along for 2 times in 4 days smiling smiley (Werchter & HMH)

Would be cool to meet up for the show somewhere around HMH

Amsterdam presale was 48eur before fees - 2 tickets on presale wound up being 107EUR total.

I think the venue size is just right, and definitely looking forward to visiting amsterdam. Been looking it up on google maps street view, and everything just looks GORGEOUS!

thumbs up Got a question: I used someone else's credit card when ordering it, and entered their name when it asked me to enter the name of the card's owner. But for the actual info that went on the ticked I entered my own info of course. Now my question is, do I need to print out the actual transaction's receipt, cause the card wasn't my own? I know I worry too much, but you can't be too sure tongue sticking out smiley

I really have zero sum experience with credit cards so Im afraid I'm not the person to answer, maybe anyother knows?!

kerty, you talking about the nin pre-sale? just print the confirmation e-mail and, if you've put you name in the "will call" section, you'll just have to show your ID.

04/20/09 11:55 PM

For those who care, just checked Twitter:

trent_reznor - And while I'm on a roll, the camera policy on the NIN/JA tour will officially be "relaxed". Details to come.

Comin' by myself as well, any meet up been planned yet whatsoever (that doesn't involve smoking weed smiling smiley)?

Post edit: on second thought, not sure if this show qualifies as part of the NIN/JA tour. Oh well.

Saw it too on Twitter, but I think it's band vs promoter thing; something that is probably easier for all show in the US than for all show in Europe with numerous different promoters.

But hey, let's see, would be cool to have some audio/video footage for a bootleg junkie like me

Nah, bought my ticket from livenation, and chose the "print it out yourself" option. In the end of the ordering process, In addition to my personal ticket in PDF, there was an option to print out the transaction receipt (that I bought something from livenation) Should I print that out? I could do it and take it with me just in case...but I was just wondering.

04/21/09 5:20 AM

I'll join the party!

04/21/09 2:10 PM

@ kerty, take every print with you just in case but the livenation printout must be enough to get in without any problems.

for the people who have also been at the last 2 other dutch gigs...paradiso 21-03-07 and lowlands festival 19-08-07... i've added some pics.

It's gonna be a two in a row for me. First Werchter and then Amsterdam.

And i don't think that the doors opening earlier for the presale tickets will make a difference, it's easy to get to the front. If you desire to stand in the front then.
