icklekitty member Joined: 11/27/07 Location: London Posts: 919	Ok, not coffeeshops, but these 3 bars are right next to the venue: [www.grandcaferox.nl] [www.grolschcinecafe.nl] [www.jinso.nl] I don't speak Dutch, but I was able to find the drinks menu and it looks like just under 3 euros for a beer. Most of them do food too. Any preference out of those 3? This would be for the day of the show.

I reckon most people staying in Amsterdam that night are in the city, so best to go into the city after the show and not have to worry about travelling back - I agree with gyurci.

[WARNING: HMH STEALS YOUR SMOKE SUPPLIES ONCE INSIDE!!! They used to never to that, but when I went to see Snoop Dogg they friggin just took it out of my bag and threw it away xD. I haven't been in the HMH since, it might just have been because of snoop dogg...but hey..just letting you all know its a possibility] they didn't throw your smoke away, they collected it from all the fans and gave it to snoop afterwards

This sounds cool to me... i got flights / digs / tickets so we're good to go! just checking out train times. me and my son arrive in amsterdam tuesday evening [i bought him this concert and trip for his 18th birthday] and head back to england friday morning - am hoping to meet with some people to chill before the gig. for anyone staying in amsterdam city centre the Gouda train passes thru ArenA station. we're heaqding out that way @ 12.25... takes about 15 minutes. train back to centraal - i got a time for one - 00.54 depart 01.08 arrive centraal station. there are later trains so shouldn't be a problem. look forward to seeing you all there!!!

(i'd also offer a ride back, but we don't know when we're leaving, yet. so yeah...you'd probably have to take care of that yourself, sorry!) and jinso looks great!

The tickets are e-tickets purchased from eventim. They include a barcode that verifies uniqueness and they can be sent as pdf via e-mail.
