Hi all. My son can't make it with me to Manchester on Tues so I have a spare standing nin.com presale ticket. Now, from what I understand the tickets are named, have to be picked up by me on entry and once collected I can't leave the venue and sell them for £100's! So.... Does anyone need a standing ticket? I'm purely asking for face value + half the booking fees that I paid. Just means you'll need to meet me outside the venue, go in with me and then split up? I'll be getting there for whatever time the doors open for earliest entrance. Email me on b.gwilliam@sky.com or PM me here. Cheers.

Yea call them, when I collected my KOL tickets the other week they needed the card (well asked for it at least) - the envelope had the last 4 digits on the outside. You should be fine as its a better reason than when my old dear managed to burn my foo fighter tickets smiling smiley

thanks for the reply, I did a bit of ruffling through some statements and other things to help me cast my mind back and fortunately I think I lost the credit card in early April and ordered on the 14th, which I must have done with the new card as they sent a replacement within 2 days of reporting.....

it would've really helped if, like in most EFTs, ticketstoday actually included the payment details on the receipt as well as my name because now apparently I have to check that the name on the tickets are identical to the one on my Photo ID. I understand security and all, but representing the last 4 digits of a card number really wouldn't have done any harm...!

taphead... was that inspired by the 'talk talk' song of the same name? their last couple of albums were great.

Was just watching T in the park on the tv. hope they will have some of NIN on the red button. The killers set was ace tho, brandon flowers said he was off to catch the end of the NIN set. Nice one!

Does anyone know how you go about getting pre-sale tickets at the m.e.n? I've never bought presale tickets before. Just wondering how early you can go and pick them up, and where you get them from. smiling smiley

Are we assuming that the setlist (as it’s a final tour) will be straight mixture of old and new or mainly newer stuff and few oldies?

Think a few of us may still meet up (hopefully durin the night rather than after for us!) so anyone can still join on I guess.

Going off the rest of the tour (US and the past few europe shows), the set will mainly be stuff from Broken, TDS and The Fragile. Theres then a couple from PHM and Year Zero, with very few occassions getting anything from The Slip (some shows get 2 or 3, some get none). Trent has said before that this is a tour to break out some songs that haven't been played that much.

For the presale emails, they'll either be sent out later tonight or tomorrow. My guess is that tomorrow, they'll send the emails regarding both UK shows, and then an official NIN user will post details in this thread. When someone first recieves the email, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE post the details (time, place, etc) so people who've for some reason havent got the email will know.

If you still fail to recieve information about it, here's what you need to do. Take with you an ID, with the name matching whats printed on the tickets, the credit card you used to order the tickets, and a copy of the confirmation email from nin.com about your presale purchase. Since theres no word on the collection point yet, you can only guess where it will be. My guess would be that it would be at the arena entrance from the Victoria station, so I would try there first. If not, just search round the other entrances till you find it. As for times, again, its unknown. Most of the europe shows have been at 4:30, but this could be different for the UK shows, so I'd get there earlier than that.

ALSO. There standing tickets left on ticketmaster, GOGOGO.

I see. But hopefully we'll get stuff from The Slip as here in the UK we've not had any of that album played yet obviously. Since I'm going to the VIP, I will try to twist his arm to play some from that album for us. I definitely want to see '1,000,000', 'Discipline' and 'Head Down'

I NEED to get rid of these two standing tickets so I can post them tommorow so they get there in time for tuesday. PLEASE PM me if you want them!!!

I went to the MEN in Manchester this afternoon and (luckily for a Sunday) found someone at the box office... it was still TBC but they are planning for the Will Call window being situated at the Victoria Station entrance next to the box office - which is good cos there's loads of room in there and easy access. Also for those worrying about photo ID, if you don't have a passport/driving license card (i've had to send my passport off recently for something and have an old paper license!) then just ensure you have the credit card it was booked on - apparently that is going to be more important!

Re: post above... You should also be able to pick the tickets up at the Will Call window, exchange cash and then split - you don't have to go straight into the venue at the time you pick the tickets up. It's just if you're wanting to get to the front... or at least that's what i'm hoping, cos I'm wanting to pick the tickets up early, then leave and meet my mate elsewhere, then head back when NIN are due on stage! Unfortunately, folks at MEN couldn't confirm this.

Re: setlist, as long as they play Dead Souls, Heresy, I'm Afraid of Americans... I'll be happy! smiling smiley

I've posted this on ets too, it's pretty important so take note before you leave:

from M.E.N. FAQ's

"I understand it is now against the law to smoke in the M.E.N Arena but why can't I leave the venue for a cigarette and then return?

Unfortunately the City Centre location of the Arena, next to the inner ring road, does not offer a safe place which can be a designated a smoking area for the visiting general public due to the potentially large numbers involved. Therefore for Health and Safety reasons, there will not be an opportunity for the general public to leave and re-enter the venue. A strict policy of no re-admission to the venue will be enforced."

Just have a fag in the toilets pal, noone minds.

And please oh please dont ask him to play any of the Slip! From what ive seen, if they play Discipline, its instead of Sin or terrible lie! sad smiley

07/12/09 3:56 PM

£50 for two standing tickets. Bargain!!! PM me.

07/12/09 4:14 PM

See Tickets says "doors at 18:30, starts at 19:30" for the time, Ticketmaster says 7pm, and Ticketline says:

Opener: 7:00-7:30
Jane's Addiction: 7:45-9:15
Nine Inch Nails: 9:30- 11:00

Good job it will be around that time by the looks of it, as we'll be racing from work.

I'm also concerned as we've cancelled and cut up (and thrown away) the CC we booked on, forgetting we'd used it for any important purchases. I've emailed musictoday though asking them about it to see if it's alright, telling them we can still take the email confirmation, photo ID, and even the CC statement with the transaction on it if necessary, hoping we'll be ok. :/ If I don't get a response tomorrow I'll phone the venue.

07/12/09 4:58 PM

Emails from NIN said doors are open 18:30, mew at 18:45, JA at 19:30, and NIN at 21:00, hope that doesnt cause problems for you.

I think the statement should be fine as long as you explain things.

07/12/09 5:03 PM

NO RELAXED CAMERA POLICY FOR UK SHOWS. Just checked the london thread, someone got an email from 02 saying that it was just standard camera regulations.

07/12/09 5:16 PM

If anyone with any influence reads this... please play Where is everybody?!

I have the same problem. Cancelled my credit card and cut it up int small pieces. The next day I realised I'd bought NIN tickets with it, and dug all the pieces out of the bin.

I've stuck it all back together so that it resembles the card, looks a bit dodgy though. I still have the credit card statement showing the transaction, so gonna take that along with a million forms of ID. I'm just a bit worried now.

Anyone know if they will have to actually swipe the card for anything? Because it's unswipeable, but you can see the number and all other details clearly.

Also, on the credit card statement it shows £71.20 to "Ticketstoday London"...Ticketmaster weren't aware of this company, but when I rang my CC company, they checked and said it was part of Ticketmaster r something...all a little bit confusing.

I just won't be able to relax till I have those damn tickets!
