05/08/09 2:13 AM

^there are two sites where you can buy tickets

here
[www.eventim.hu]?

and here
[www.ticketportal.hu]

I don't know if they accept debit card or any other paying methods, though.

(edit: I really can't type, meh)

Hi!
I want to buy tickets for the concert in Budapest.
So I went to the site of eventim.hu and when I click on the "shopping cart" I cannot choose the delivery-option "Print@home", although this option is mentioned on the website.
I can just choose between picking the tickets up in Budapest and international shipping (which is too expensive).
Anyone there who has a solution for this problem?
Or aren't there any "Print@home-tickets" for this concert?

as far as i could see on ticketportal.hu you can choose to print the ticket. the downside of that site is that the translation is not very thorough, but it's kinda obvious. anyway, if you need help, let us know.

cheers,
p

oh, and i guess others have noticed it too, that the nin.com presale was actually quite a bit more expensive (~1400 HUF) than what you can get the tickets for right now...that kinda sucks ass (i know it's only like 6 bucks, it's still more than 10% of the price).

i hope the tickets will at least look nice (color print and all) and not those crappy standard ticket office ones. and maybe even get in earlier? does anybody know anything about these?

I had the same problem and I wrote eventim.hu to ask if Print@Home tickets are available for this show and the answer was:
"you can't örder with print at home."

So that's it. We're going to have to pick up the tickets at the office. There's no way I'm going to pay that much for the delivery!

Hey Everyone!

Just want to put a reminder out there about the Pigs 'n Whores Blog!!

The Euro shows are updated and I am working on updating with names/info for those of you that have already filled out requests.

If you can give/need a ride, can give/need a couch, will share/need a hotel - you may be able to find it here. You can add yourself and what you need or you can browse the show you will be attending for people in need or offering help.

Just added the option to show you have a ticket for sale or you need a ticket for the show!!

You can also just add your name to the shows you are attending if you dont need anything.

Use it, abuse it...

Raz

Copying this part of the post i made in the Balkans Thread.

If you're reading this, your name was not mentioned, are Slovenian, Croatian, Bosnian, Serb, Macedonian or even any other nationality, and would like to go with us sharing your part of costs, you're invited. The numbers are there. All you need to do is get yourself a ticket and the rest will be discussed here.
Keep in mind: we're Slovenians, traveling from Slovenia, picking up a few people in Zagreb, Croatia and heading to Budapest with a rented car/van (depends on the number of people involved). After show, we'd like to hang out and then we'll get some sleep at the hostel/hotel we have yet to book at this moment, returning to Slovenia via Zagreb the next day in the (early) afternoon. If you have any questions or comments regarding this plan, please PM me or post in the Balkans Thread.

Also, where in Budapest can we get a place that serves drinks, maybe food, doesn't have loud music (i'd love to talk to people without yelling in their ears) and is without age limit.. on a Friday night? Suggestions? Also, if you're up for this aftershow meet, should we make a list of people who will join us or is it all going to happen at-place at-time? Just a thought :]

Does anyone have an extra PRESALE ticket (or 2) for this show?
Thinking of flying from the US for this one but presale is sold out and if there were enough of them, there goes the rail...

Also, does anyone local know what's the capacity of the blue standing section?

06/19/09 3:28 AM

We are comming to this show from Bulgaria. Our flight back is at 06:00 on the morning and the idea for an afterparty or just hanging around togather is very good. Does anybody knows anything about Meet&Greet with the band?

06/20/09 3:46 AM

No idea. If you payed the big one for Eric, then you may be invited in. Otherwise, no idea if there will be any meet and greet.
By the way, how many of Bulgarians is in "we are coming to this show..."? Curious grinning smiley

I have no idea what I'm doing on this website. I can only read English, and the entire thing is in a foreign language. Can someone help me out? How can I view this website translated? I dont want to buy the wrong thing by accident.

Also, my girlfriend would like to know if we need tickets to go to the "standing" area of the concert. I noticed there are only tickets for sale for the "seated" sections. How does the standing area work exactly? Can we just waltz down there and squeeze in? or what?

06/26/09 7:13 PM

yeah, everybody will understand what is on the flyer, though

So the flyer says, there's going to be an afterparty that will take place in Müvészbázis (address: Budapest, Városligeti fasor 44.)

http://muveszbazis.hu/images/bfotomapn.jpg

A band will play at this party (the members are nin fans) and after their gig there's going to be a nin-disco (it sounds so odd, Hehe)

The party starts from 10 pm to dawning
and IT'S FREE
If you want to come to this party, PM me and I'll give you more information.

how do standing tickets work? Like, if you have a standing ticket it, do you wait in line outside until they let you in, and then the first people to the stage get the best spot? or what? how does that work. thanks.

and if this is the case, how early do you think we should get there if we want to be in the very front, my girlfriend really wants to be in front. hehe.

06/27/09 5:44 AM

If your gf wants front, you'll have to wait for people who bought pre-sale tickets, because these people will be let in first.

I guess, the chances are higher at this show than US ones, because the pre-sale tix aren't sold out. Don't believe what nin.com says. it's "sold out" because the normal tix went on sale a few days later, so they had to stop selling the pre-sale ones.

and about the lining up. I have no idea, really. A few friends of mine will be at this show who don't have pre-sale ticket, and they told me they would be there at 9 or 10 am.

I'd say both. We'll be starting from Slovenia at 8am or so (hopefully) and with hotel check and all, we should be at the venue at 4pm or so. Then again, in Milan i saw them from about 10th row and it was still pretty fucking amazing. That said, i don't think i'll be THAT disappointed if we don't get to front row but if we do.. "lucky us" :]

By the way, that afterparty thing sounds great.

06/30/09 8:49 AM

^
Sounds pleasurable. It will be a nice drive.
I'll work to 2pm. Then lunch, then go to SYMA. I wanna be there at 4pm. Or a bit earlier.
There will be two afterparties: one run by the organizers (piece of shit, no one will go there) and one promoted by nin.hu. You can see the flyer of it above.
Apollo will play there. It's gonna be cool.

06/30/09 1:50 PM

I have my ticket, and I was crazy enough to pay for the international shipping. I am coming from London so wanted to have my ticket on me.

I am so excited about seeing Alec Empire again!!
