So, anyone have any info on when doors open, etc? I got presale tickets back when they first went on sale, but have yet to receive any emailed information about the details of the show. I got the emailed receipt, but that's it.

Do you guys know when the openers are set to take the stage, or, of course, Trent?

I'm assuming opening act would be on at 7:30 or shortly thereafter. NIN probably 8:45/9:00?

For the shows I have already attended some have emailed and some have not. They usually email you the day b4 or the day of. If you don't get it, no big deal. Just bring your email receipt and ID. No one I was with had a problem!

Since some lineup early, you will see the line, then someone will come out and tell you when to pick up the tix, usually 3 or 4. Then John, NIN security will come out and tell you that there is NO running to the pit. If you run, you'll have to TURN back. But I think skipping is allowed. winking smiley

The openers started between 7:30 and 8:00. Trent probably started like 30 minutes after that.

Good to hear I am not the only one who hasn't gotten that followup email yet. I have seen NIN 5+ times I think; the arena shows are always an awesome productions. The smaller venue shows are awesome too, and you get a good intimate feel for the music; but the area stuff is the full deal.

The Oracle (Oakland) Arena is a pretty solid venue, and there aren't a lot of bad seats in the house.

If you aren't familiar with the area, the BART system comes directly to the venue, so its a pretty great way to get to the show and not have to deal with traffic or parking.

Now I just need to remember what credit card I used to purchase the tickets, so I can get in =)

I know! I got presale tickets and I'm coming down from school specially for the concert. My only question now is... what to wear?

Interesting...this show should be dubbed 'the virgins and the vets'.

Warm weather, NIN...looking to be a great weekend!

Thanks, that helps a lot... especially since I'm driving five hours beforehand, I need something comfortable.

Sooo close, just a few days away! This will be my 3rd NIN concert. I saw them in Oakland in NOV '05 and in Mountainview in JUL '06. I sat in section 128 the last time, this time in 114. I've been to different performances at the Arena, and have always had a great time. Have fun!

Ditto, I was at that performance. As someone here already mentioned, the Oakland Arena is a pretty good venue, especially with the BART station being so conveniently located. The last thing I want to do after getting worn out at a show is drive home.

Thanks for the replies about the timing, also.

Oakland is definitely a great venue and last time they played there was fantastic, I even walked away with part of Aaron's smashed guitar at the end, had to catch bart but I heard they had stayed around after and signed stuff for people which would have been awesome to get the guitar part signed. I learned my lesson, I'll stay and hunt for a ride if I need to, it's a shame when BART shuts down early. I need to check the times on it for this friday. Is anyone else going early or waiting for will call pre-sale ticket pick up? If so, about what time?

Every time NIN has come to the Bay Area, I have had been on vacation or unable to attend. I am so excited to see them tomorrow that I don't think that I will be able to sleep tonight; hope to see you all there!

I'm gonna be leaving Sac around 10:30-11:00. I'm not sure if I'm gonna drive all the way down or drive to El Cerrito and take bart. Either way, I'll be there by noon at the absolutely latest and just hanging out all day.

At least that's what I've been planning on doing. But I've been thinking about it, and I've shown up to NIN shows in the past at like 3:00 and still been able to get right up front. I don't wanna spend longer in the line than I need, but also don't wanna get there too late and end up way in the back.

edit: we should have someone get there hella early, and then someone else can come a few hours later and hold the spot for them so they can leave for a bit and then they can come back right before the show and everyone wins. imo.
