Awesome! Anybody hear anything about an age limit for this (and the other NYC) shows? It seems that every band on the Bowery site is 18+ or 21+ and I want to know who I'll be allowed to bring to see NIN.

07/10/09 12:10 PM

I don't know for sure, but based on the venues it does look like it might be 18+.
...That wasn't much help, sorry dude.

07/10/09 1:18 PM

I'll try my hardest to be there. I'm in Albany, I'll be hoping on the train in Poughkeepsie to Grand Central. I'm so glad I don't have to worry about driving.

07/10/09 1:25 PM

Anyone from Toronto thinking about going to any of the NYC shows? I'm seriously considering it, and hoping to carpool/split hotel costs with anyone going.

07/10/09 1:58 PM

Toronto will have a show.

I'm trying to go to one of these shows..but what sucks balls about this, if i try going for the Bowery show (smaller club) first, theres a good chance i wont get tickets, considering all the nyc shows are on sale at the same time, and they are going to sell out fast. I'm just trying to see one show, I cant make it to the shows during the week...so the ones during the weekend would be ideal.

I know why they did this (presale at the same time), they don't want people going to multiple shows, they want more people to have a chance to see one show. But as good as attentions that might be, the outcome could be the opposite, especially for those that are trying to get tickets for the Bowery first.

I'm just going to happen to be in NYC on this weekend. SWEET!

07/10/09 3:43 PM

WAAHHHH!!

I am going to be on an airplane, coming back from London show, when the pre-sale starts!!!
Is there anyone out there who would be willing to add 2 tix for me into your order for Bowery Ballroom?
(I can't do any of the other NY dates, will be out of town...grrr!!!!)

please oh please oh please somebody? you will drink for free all night!

pm me if you are a kind-hearted mensch

07/10/09 4:49 PM

i'm going to as many of these as i possibly can. at LEAST two of them. i almost lost my shit when i saw that not only were they coming back to the city (not Long Island and not New Jersey), they were coming to some of the smallest venues in town.

the Hammerstein show during the With Teeth tour was savagely awesome. can't imagine what Bowery or Webster Hall would be like. but i damn sure do intend to find out!

Uh .. presale is 2 ticket limit and this show will be gone ultra quick. You b screwed on the timing of your flight.

Prelim plans point to the weekend shows. WOOT!! If I can score tix ... oh, please god, let me score tix.

07/10/09 5:09 PM

Planning on this one.

07/10/09 6:39 PM

Where did you see info that presale is 2 tix only? I don't doubt it's true--just didn't see it anywhere

07/10/09 7:47 PM

^^That is the way presale has been for the last 2 tours ...

Good luck m.

07/10/09 9:41 PM

Yeah presale has always been a 2 ticket limit as long as I've remembered.

I might be able to snag one extra ticket for you, but it depends on if my boyfriend wants to see NIN at Bowery or Webster(I plan on going to both shows, he plans on just doing one).

I am sooo glad this is only being sold through nin.com. I mean yeah, Terminal 5 you have two chances to get tickets(presale and regular), but nin.com only means it cuts out a lot of scalpers.

07/10/09 9:34 PM

Is this going to be an 18+ show? Because I wanted to bring my girlfriend to this show, but I have no clue if it's going to be like all Bowery shows (IE: 18+)

07/10/09 10:32 PM

Planning on going to this show. I'll be flying in from OK. Scared shitless when I found out the capacity is only 500 something. Anyone try to buy tickets to see a band there before? How was it?

I will be flying from OK as well!
I really wanna find the price for the tickets. My plan is to arrive the day before, stay with a friend, and go on saturday, and leave Sunday evening.

Do you think It will be in the 40-60 range like regular NIN shows (not including the Wave Goodbye) or will it be somewhere like 100 per ticket?

07/11/09 3:58 AM

I doubt it'll be $100. Only reason why NIN|JA was that expensive was because it had two headliners.

07/11/09 6:35 AM

Chicago was like $55 sans Jane's

07/11/09 7:01 AM

Does anyone know how presale works? Do you pick up you tix b4 the shows or the night of?

This concert does not have a presale only a nin.com sale. From past experience you pick up your tickets the day of the show when the staff comes out with them and sits a table.

07/11/09 9:26 AM

I've never seen NIN in a small venue before, I had no clue they only hold 500 people. Yikes!!I hope I don't have to resort to scalpers.

07/11/09 10:34 AM

Set-times?

Doors 8

Horrors 9-10?

Nails 10:30?

07/11/09 1:23 PM

Has anyone here ever been to a show here at the Bowery? If so, how is the venue?

07/11/09 3:39 PM

I hear that this venue is the shit.

07/11/09 4:37 PM

Does anyone know if this and the other NYC shows are all ages? (I know someone asked already but if anyone has anymore info that would be awesome)

Because all the tickets are through nin.com, if you have to resort to a scalper, it will have their name on the ticket. If someone is stupid enough to try to scalp that...

I'm heading to NY from Toronto and am also looking for travel companions to split costs/company - PM me if interested. Sort of waiting till Friday to see how tickets go before planning anything concrete.

Anyone else from Toronto going?
