I remember when Atlantic City in NJ sold out, there was a thread about meeting up and hanging out and all that. But this thread seems to be all people looking for tickets. Anyone actually got tickets and excited about going? Anyone doing anything in NYC?

Um, me & Cthules?

I just got our hotel room on Priceline today (Wyndham Garden Hotel Manhattan, Chelsea West--just been reading some reviews, and it sounds as if the rooms are small but the beds amazing); we'll be taking BoltBus down & arriving in the early afternoon, and I'll be heading back to Boston on the bus Sunday afternoon (Cthules' plans are still up in the air). Does anyone have any idea what time this show will be? Us geezers (well, me at least) need to know if we should take a disco nap first... winking smiley

Anyhow, I'm curious - since I probably shouldn't be in the stage area for this one because it's going to be crammed like sardines even moreso than other shows, is there a bad seat in the house? Or pretty much where ever you are, you'll be close and have a good view?

This should answer your question. Oh and this.

insanity! wowzers.

Does anyone know what time will doors open and about how early should I expect to line up for this show?
Been to Bowery many times and I am thrilled about seeing NIN this close and in one of their final shows. Also happy that I will have no problems bringing my camera and video cam to the show.
For those who are not familiar with this venue, don't bring anything too big or the bouncers will ask you to move to the side of the stage

Leaving for NYC a week from today, woohoo.

I know this is a stretch but I'm look for a single ticket to the Bowery show (I know who isn't), I will pay for the ticket, take you to dinner and you can pick a photo of mine form the lights in the sky tour, I will print it and frame it for you!

I posted this in the Random tour questions thread too, forgive me.

On nin.com itself, the age limit for the Bowery Ballroom show was 16+ (under 16 to be accompanied by a parent). I triple checked and had it verified on ETS.

AFTER I bought two tickets (I know I'm very lucky to have them too)... the age limit on nin.com changed to say 18+. When nin was added to the Bowery website it said 18+ too.

No one will respond to any of my questioning emails, and the show is coming nearer and nearer. Tickets are non-refundable and in someone's name that is 17 and a half...

Can anyone help me? I don't want to pay for a trip to NYC to get turned down at the doors.
Even an additional email address or phone number would help...
(The Bowery Ballroom only has a voice recording every time I tried.)

I'm hoping that it just defaults to 18+ for Bowery, because I can't imagine the would change it after everyone already bought tickets...

This is very frustrating... please excuse the long post.

I am still looking for 1 ticket to the Bowery!

You would make a Longtime NIN Fan so happy!!

Please pm me!

did u try calling the venue? or you could always ask someone in line to say they are with you. people are usually really cool about this stuff.....maybe a new id with your name but "corrected" bdaywinking smileyim dead serious ....droppin 50$ bucks in a east village head shop to become a Michigan state resident ...got me into lots of places....esp 18+ concerts cause people aren't there just to drink and a lot of the crowd is under 21 anyway. hope this was helpful

Here is the general info email address for the bowery:

info@bowerypresents.com

You can also try music today:

tix@musictoday.com

Phone # 800-594-Tixx

If those don't work, you can try the Mercury Lounge box office, as that's where bowery tickets for other shows are sold, so they may have the information for you and you can probably speak to a human there:

(212) 260-4700

Thanks everyone, this is the most help I've gotten since I bought tickets.

Question though... what would 'someone saying they are with me' do? I think everyone has to show an ID to get in.

I think the idea was, just get someone in line to say you went together(ie, they're your "guardian" for the show). Kind of like sneaking into an R rated movie.

Tried calling the box office yet? Who bought the tickets(ie, whose name is on the credit card)? Maybe that person could offer express consent for you to be there. After all, the venue did accept their money...

08/15/09 4:52 PM

Thank you for the info regarding doors time

For the guy with the age questions: your best bet is definitely calling the venue because shows vary from band to bad. I hope not, but I thought for this one is 18+, and yes they always ask for ID when you go to a show there. But I've never been to an under 18 one so not sure how that would work with guardians

Me too!! Anyone that's committed to the task? haha

08/17/09 5:46 PM

If anyone has an extra ticket or two to this show (or a different NY show), send me a PM. I'm hoping to somehow stumble upon two tickets to any one of the NY shows without having to resort to sticky eBay scalpers charging $200 to $700/ticket.

08/18/09 7:54 AM

^ At this point I would say that any extra tickets people have are already spoken for. As shitty as it is, if you really want to go, giving into to ebay scalpers are probably your only option. But I would think long and hard about it if I were you because a lot of those actions are probably complete bullshit

FOUR MORE SLEEPS! smiling smiley

Pretty excited about going to a NIN show without any prior knowledge about the setlist. I think this show is going to destroy every previous one I've seen.
