I'll start this by saying: My girlfriend is short, like 5'2. We have never been to the venue before, but judging from the pics I'm finding online, it looks like if we are not in the front, she will not be able to see. Does anyone know if you can stand and watch the show from the balconies or are they strictly walkways for the upper level bars? If you can watch it from up there, is it a good idea?

Still looking for one ticket. Please pm me if you have one!

Hey, no worries. You and your girlfriend can easily enjoy the show with a great view from the second level balcony. Just make sure to get there as fast as you can bc even the balconies fill up a bit. Have fun dude!

Thanks for the heads up from another shortie..... *wink*
Planning on getting there early afternoon, so here's to hoping I can jockey for position!

I was lucky to get a ticket for the 25th from a very kind, generous soul, for which I am EXTREMELY grateful and I'm so looking forward to the show! By chance, I managed to score a second night's accommodation in NYC and wondered if any lone attendees with spare tickets could do with some really good company for the show on the 26th? smiling smiley I feel this is a bit greedy as I am fortunate enough to get to go at all - more than many would have the chance to do. It's just the thought of me and NIN being in the same city at the same time - I've gotta try at least!

If I don't manage to hook up with any of you, hope you all have a great night!

My T5 for Wednesday just flaked. I know it's a longshot, but I'll trade my +1 for the finale for your +1 at Webster. PM me. Not for sale under any circumstances. Thanks; pardon the cross post.

Hey, guys!

I've NEVER seen NIN before...does anyone have an extra ticket to either the 8/25/09 show or the 8/26/09 show at Terminal 5 in NYC that I could buy? Willing to cover all costs of the ticket including ticketmaster charges. Please PM me.

I've tried to get a single ticket through both this site and ticketmaster, but no luck.
I'd sincerely love to see them play live just once before they stop touring. Thanks, everyone.

(Also going to post this in the 8/25 forum, not to spam, but just in case someone has an extra ticket and is only checking that forum date.)

08/23/09 9:08 AM

Checked the weather forecast...it is going to be insanely hot again with temps in the 90s on Wednesday. Everyone's gonna smell so nice! I really wanted to wear jeans to this gig...but don't think that will be happening.

08/23/09 4:12 PM

Hey all,

My partner and I are devastated that we haven't had the best of luck in getting tickets for our favorite band's last few shows. If any of you kind souls happen to stumble upon two extra tickets I could buy off you, I would be forever grateful. My email is azviaguine@yahoo.com.. Please let me know, I appreciate the help tremendously in advance!

by the sounds of it, if you get there relatively early (like before noon) and position yourself right, you might get to the front riding the "surge" that inevitably happens as soon as the band hits the stage.

also, T5 has a lot of balcony frontage. depending on your need/aversion to be in the thick of the pit, the show might be more enjoyable from an elevated balcony view. also, rail is rail - be up front on the balcony, and you'll have an unobstructed view of the stage. useful for those of limited height smiling smiley

I think I would like a balcony spot.... I remember my pit days... I am not as tough as I used to be! LOL I just have to co-ordinate with the gal I'm meeting now.

And sorry.... I am very bouncy. How I managed not keep calm and not *squeeeeee* when I met Trent in Camden...
no freakin' clue!

08/23/09 8:24 PM

I recently tore up my ankle and I'm now on crutches, but no friggin way I'm missing this show! This is gonna sound pretty pathetic, but does anyone know if T5 has a handicap accessible section?

obviously balcony rails don't go as fast as stage-front rail - there's more balcony to go around (2 balconies, each going around 3 sides of a large floor). but don't dottle, they will fill up.

there is also a raised area at the back of the floor, with a bar behind you. if you wanna drink, have a raised view and be dead-center (but a little far away), that's another sweet spot to catch the show from.

and don't you (or anyone else) ever apologize for bouncing. the world needs more bouncing. corsets optional.

it's not pathetic, and yes they do - talk to security on your way in (or even while waiting in line). they'll hook you up. pathetic would be insisting on being in the pit despite your injury and trying to hang with the moshers.

Left and Right together same night. They Are one album. That would be amazing. I'm really sad I wasn't at Webster Hall. It was my dream set in a way. Doubt it will happen. Anyone up for some pump up drinks early Wed. There has got to be some bar around, although it's not a great area. I'm gonna do some scouting tomorrow around the area. I just know that it mostly expensive bad restaurants and have yet to find a decent bar around the area.

If anyone with the last name Ryan, wants a NIN ticket to the Aug 26th show in NY let me know. I need to know by Tuesday. I cant make the show and they will only allow me to transfer the tickets to some one with the same last name as me. I have two tickets but one is for my friend who wants to go and one will be for you.

SORRY GUYS TICKET IS TAKEN
HOPE EVERYONE FINDS One. THERE ARE ALWAYS PEOPLE SELLING TICKETS AT THE VENUE...I've gotton a ticket right before the doors opened for face value. If you really want to go it's worth a shot. At bowery they let people without a ticket in for the last half of NIN set.
