Great now that means that casual fans will be at this show. I will never understand this move. This show will sell out just through fans that check out NIN.com, those of you that need these tickets please get them. So I don't have to hear drunk guys talk through songs they don't know and complain when they don't hear Closer!

Ugh. I can't IMAGINE paying $65 to see a band I knew a handful of songs from. When I was leaving the Charter One show, this girl actually asked her friend, "So, wait, did they play 'Fuck You Like an Animal?'" good GRIEF.

when i got out of the pit and was back a bit further there were these 2 guys standing behind me talking about how they didn't like his new haircut. ughhhhh. it was kind of funny though because i would expect that type of talk from girls but not guys.

I don't imagine the line will be too horrible, at least the scalper fuckers can't sell tix. I want to fucking stab one when I see them walking around like they own the fucking place, yelling NEED TICKETS?! Of course I need one because you fuckers bought all of them. Fucking hellacocksuckers!

07/23/09 12:23 PM

Im Definitely going to tha last 2 shows at the Aragon, is there gonna be a Meet and Greet? What would be my best chance of getting autographs?

07/23/09 12:43 PM

I understand the concept of "paperless ticketing" and how it can deter or lower scalping and all of that. The main petty concern that I have is the lack of ticket altogether. Yes, I understand that your CC and ID are your ticket to get into the venue. But I've always liked to have the hard ticket on hand for posterity. Kinda like collecting ticket stubs and going back to reminisce about the shows whenever I peruse my collection.

Oh well...

07/23/09 12:53 PM

Could I buy the tickets with my mother's credit card and still be able to get in?

(I'm having a hard time understanding the "paperless ticket" so I'm sorry if this is a stupid question. I'm not sure if I have enough money on my credit card.)

Or could I use my mother's credit card to buy a Ticketmaster gift card and buy the tickets with that?

DO NOT BUY OR USE A GIFT CARD. The TM instructions state that those will not be honored and can't be used.

"2. Bring the credit card used to purchase your tickets and a valid government issued photo ID to the venue along with your entire party. THE ENTIRE PARTY MUST BE PRESENT TO GAIN ENTRY."

There is nothing about using someone else's credit card on the FAQ:

I'd be inclined to presume if it's your mothers card and you have the same last name you should be okay, as long as she allows you to bring the card with you!

Alright thanks. I've already read the FAQ but I thought it was very vague.

That's a good point! I haven't considered that, I still have my Charter One Chicago tickets on my fridge. That was the best night of my life! I'm from Indiana and me and a couple friends ate some shrooms and HOLY SHIT Chicago kicks ass! The backdrop of the skyline and lake Michigan behind us, the temp was perfect and I wont even start on the music. i don't know man

Me too.

So is goodbye for the JAM presale? It isn't all that clear. I signed up for their newsletter/e-mail earlier this week, but haven't seen anything from them about it. As for the Q101 presale...I assume most of you figured that one out since it tells you on the site after you make an account, (NINQ)

Here's hoping tomorrow goes a hell of a lot better than last Friday's fucked up mess!

07/23/09 3:14 PM

Oh great here come the butterflies again!!

07/23/09 3:20 PM

Which presale would you guys recommend?

07/23/09 4:16 PM

anyone have info on the jam productions presale tomorrow? posted tix prices are 55

07/23/09 4:18 PM

also, if anyone cares to share the presale for jam or Q I'd appreciate it. been goin since phm, would like to see him out...me and a half million people, i know.

e-mail from Jam
Presale Starts: Friday, July 24 at 5pm
Presale Ends: Friday, July 31 at 4pm
Password: goodbye
Public On Sale: Friday, July 31 at 5pm

hahahaha as if the tickets are going to last a week. People who listen to that station are living in a fantasy world if they go "Oh, well, I get paid on the 30th, so I'll buy them then" or whatever. hahaaaaaa right.

I had an extra presale pit ticket for the Charter One show that NO ONE would effing buy (my friend dropped off the face of the earth and I was left with it). WTF?

roarbitz-adult beverage of your choice, or a few. on me. eternally grateful.

The links for the JAM presale are:

Friday night tix
[www.ticketmaster.com]

Saturday night tix
[www.ticketmaster.com]

and yes the password is "goodbye". Price is listed as $55/ticket but that may not include service charges.

The Q101 presale price is listed as $57.50.

There is a 4 ticket limit for both of these presales.

Hope this info is helpful. If I don't get tickets I'm goin cry! Unfortunately, I am flying to Vegas tomorrow but will give it a go. Good luck to everyone!!!

If a 'casual' fan really, really wants to rush to the presale to drop the cash on this-- and for god's sake, you can love NIN and just not be into hanging around the official site-- then I'm not going to stop them. The point is to see the show, not wax @#$%& (and we have that wordfilter for a reason) about the company you're in.
/really bad mood

ETA: Damn, Roarbitz, awesome find!

Do the presalers (ie, those that buy tomorrow) gain entrance earlier than the gen. public sale?

07/23/09 9:21 PM

i doubt it

Yes, or at least at Charter One they did...

07/23/09 10:42 PM

quick basic question. is the q101 presale basically ticketmaster presale with a diff password?

sicne it happens at same time there is no point in attempting both i d imagine?

07/24/09 12:50 AM

Where do we even put in the password (NINQ or goodbye)? Will we be prompted for that tomorrow once they go on sale?
