I'm still looking for one ticket to Saturday night's show! If anyone has an extra one, or knows of one, could you please PM me? My fiance and I are driving down to Chicago from Minnesota this weekend, and we only have one ticket between the both of us!! I won't even bother posting my horror stories from the pre-sale.... bottom line we still need to buy one ticket! We plan on being in line early so the exchange will go smoothly! Thanks for reading....

Where are you coming from in Minnesota? I'm coming Thursday night from Minneapolis. I'll be sitting in line B&E Saturday morning with an extra ticket for the show. I'd love to sell it to a local Minnesotan don'tchya know, ya you betcha.

We are coming from Rochester, MN on Friday and staying with his parents in Naperville. I ended up getting 2 tickets on ticketmaster yesterday though!! So relieved...

As of right now Trent says "bring it in" but people that have called the Aragon have been told "no cameras." People are going to call on Friday and I assume post the reponse they get. Hopefully NIN mgmt sets the Aragon straight.

I just got off the phone with them. They said "handheld cameras, no professional cameras". I asked her, "what do you define a professional camera as?" and her reply was "cameras with lenses". Now, being a photographer, I know all cameras HAVE lenses. I'm assuming she meant cameras with detachable lenses. I'm still bringing my D60 with 70-300 and probably a 50mm (gonna attach the 50, try to hide the 300 in my bag).

Print out a copy or two of the NIN camera policy and take it with you, ask for NIN security if event security gives you a hard time, thats my plan.

absolutely. i'll post them up on flickr as soon as i go through them on sunday. i'll probably bring my camera to both shows unless i get the heavy hammer thrown down upon me on friday by event security at the door. i have a feeling a lot of people are going to be bringing cameras that are not "handheld" and are going to be stuck with no place to go stash them. their problem then becomes an event security problem because they then have a bunch of angry folks outside their doors.

hopefully getting in wont be a problem, thrilled to see you all this weekend.

YES. I'm very excited about this.

You'll see me near the front of the line. I think that I'll likely have a 12-pack that for some conspicuous adult beverage enjoyment. Show me your camera and I'll share.

Trent and peter are choosing what songs to do together on the night. Last night at Terminal 5 in NYC they performed (NIN's) Reptile , ( Bauhaus's) Kick in the Eye & (Joy Division’s) Dead Souls.
The appearances continue tonight again at Terminal 5 in NYC, show times starts at 8.45 pm.
Then onto Chicago 28th 29th at Aragon ....."

Ugh. I'm gettin' seriously annoyed with The Aragon! I JUST got off the phone with them and the bitch said, "no cameras... aboslutely NO cameras." I asked her over and over if there's any way the NIN shows have a different policy and she just kept saying, "NO CAMERAS!" BAH. I wish we could get a straight, final answer out of them.

I have no intent on taking a camera...I never do...but I asked a supervisor of the security company that the Aragon hires last night about the policy for Friday & Saturday's shows and he said probably no detachable lenses, but it's whatever the band says that they don't make the rules for shows. I'd trust his word over someone who works at the Aragon (where they don't do their own security)...but I'm not one who would have to stash a camera if they said no at the door.

Okay. I'm gonna throw my hat in the ring. Cause I'm getting desperate. I just wanna see my favorite band one last time. I had no luck with the presale, I didn't find out that Ticketmaster changed their on sale date when they did that radio station tie in until it was too late, I missed the additional Ticketmaster tickets yesterday by an [i]hour[i] and I keep missing people on this thread who have extra tickets. Please. I just want one ticket for Saturday night. If worst comes to worst, I'll be there Saturday asking everyone and their mother for a ticket. Perhaps with a sign. And a monkey. If anyone comes out with a spare ticket. Please PM me. I love this band and I want to see them one last time...

So is this venue actually in a ghetto, or what?

08/26/09 4:03 PM

Originally I was looking for a ride to and from Indiana on Friday...I have an extra ticket that I can spare for that night in trade for the ride and of course gas money as well. However, seems like the only ride I can find will be staying for both shows....I am going out on a limb and seeing if ANYONE has an extra ticket to Saturdays show. I have a friday ticket that I can trade or I can just pay if the Friday one is unneeded.

Or if all else fails I am still on the lookout for a ride from Indiana for the friday only show.

A chick has to try...especially when it comes to NIN.

So, the lovely piscesean85 is going to give me a ride to both shows, which means we'll be there pretty early (depending on how early she manages to get going hee hee)!

The only thing is... I have nin.com presale tickets, and she has Ticketmaster ones.

SO!

Anyone with nin.com tickets planning on being there in the morning? Who will I see there? I met some awesome girls in line at the last Chicago show, but would love to see if anyone wants to try to meet up in line (since the two girls I have kept in touch with from Charter One won't be able to hang with me in line... one has Ticketmaster and one is only coming for Saturday's show sometime in the afternoon)!!

PM me if you plan on getting there before noon! I love making new friends in line! YAY!

08/26/09 4:49 PM

Have an extra presale for friday if someone will trade me there extra for Saturday. We will go in together each night sence it is paperless and ill nedd proof of your extra for Saturday and will need you ID as collateral till we meet before the Saturday show. This will benefit us both greatly.
