So, I just called the Aragon and the woman that answered said that they will NOT be doing a coat check.

That fucking sucks. Now I have to figure out what to do with my backpack.

Indeed, public transportation from Skokie (while available) sucks. I take cabs all the time in the city, and estimating from Skokie, I'd say it would be about 50 bucks.

To know for sure I'd try giving Yellow Cab a call, maybe they can help with an estimate: 312-829-4222

We're like a NIN family! I'll be wearing a Hanzel und Gretyl *Uber Mensch* shirt, red hair, pierced lip, w/ my fiance and his friend. We'll be in line both days, probably sleeping hahaha, see you guys!!

I talked to someone yesterday at the aragon, said small backpacks=OK. im bringing a bag thats smaller than some girl's purses so if they give me a hard time, im gonna mess someone up.

EDIT: from what it sounds like, the Aragon staff is SUPER disorganized and cant tell people correct info because ive heard 90 different "Camera policieS" regarding this show.

Yeah, I think that I'm going to bring my bag either way. I'll just have to ask somebody what the fuck is going on once I get there. I think that the key is to just keep your bag as empty as possible. And, if all else fails, I am a master of the urban bag-stash. But hopefully I won't have to resort to that.

yeah, im essentially just bringing my small backpack to put my camera in so its not around my neck for 2.5+ hours and to hide my extra lens and bring a hat. other than that, its gonna be empty so when they search it theyll find nothing and should hopefully let me go right in. *crosses fingers*

I'm taking my camera, and if they say no cameras, I'll be hiding mine in between my boobs LOL!!!!

I think we need a "code word" or something we can each walk around and mumble...when you pass someone else mumbling you'll know you found a fellow forum member. ha ha!
