DJGamer member Your World On Fire Joined: 11/27/07 Location: Ames IA Posts: 327	For anyone curious, here are my latest set list statistics, showing how many times the sixy songs in the "set list pool" have been played (excluding stuff like "Cars" with Gary Numan and the different songs that they played with Peter Murphy in NY, I'm only including "NIN Songs", basically). I also have percentages for all of the songs although obviously the newer ones have very low percentages that may not mean as much since they hadn't been played at all until later on. Plus of course a song being more "rare" could be interpreted as increasing the chance that it will be played during this final leg of the tour. So really it's just "raw data", make of it what you will. lol It seems I may have transportation both too and from Chicago after all, btw. If that works out, I might have enough money to go and check out the Dave and Busters in Chicago-although I have no idea whether or not I could make it into some kind of fan meet-up when I'm still working out the details myself. lol Edited 1 time(s). I have a Sigma 70-300 but figured it wouldn't be needed. Now that you mention what you are doing the 70-300 + 50 might be a better combo than the 50 + 18-105. If I see you I'll say hi. I'm your average 6'0 33 year old guy with brown hair. i'll pass along the info about the bags as soon as i get it, hopefully early tomorrow. i also have the sigma 70-300 which i'll be bringing. if anything, it'll be nice for closeups if i'm in range or some decent shots if i end up more toward the back. i'm bringing the 50mm with as a long shot just in case i happen to be up close to the rail, but im not counting on it since i wont be getting there til mid/late afternoon. will also get some pre-show shots in line with it. i haven't been to the aragon in roughly ten years as well, i can't really remember how far the back is but i don't think its that big, max capacity is ~4900. I've never shot with an 18-105 so I'm not sure of what it is capable of, though it shouldn't be too bad. I thought about renting an 18-200 but i figured the 70-300 that i already have will work just as well.

natej member Joined: 02/28/08 Location: waukesha%2C wi Posts: 104	well, long story short i got screwed out of the room my friend said he'd get me, so i broke down and got my own super sweet place just north of the river for sat, they wouldn't let me book at the hyatt, damn it, anyway, got me a place to stay, a full tank of gas some booze and some one who said they'd sell me friday ticket, i am hooked up!!!!! i even finally killed some fucking nazi zombies an a par with where i should be, i've been off all week..... now i have to figure out how to sleep tonight and make it through work with some level of productivity before i head down for the friday show, then i have to come back up to milwaukee and get my friend who can only make saturday and come on back down to hit some record stores and some eats hmmm, maybe some tylenol PM can help...., it's either that or i'm watching my dexter season 3

I was thinking about my 18-105 because of VR which would help with lower shutter speeds (I hope to keep it around 1/125th minimum) but 105 probably won't be enough reach in the Aragon. The 70-300 will be perfect but at 300mm you need around 1/450th of a second to be sharp and that probably isn't going to work at f5.6. I am thinking about using the 70-300 and I'll try to keep it at 200mm at the far end and just crop if I want to get closer. If I do use the 300mm I am going to use the lens hood. While it's usually only for blocking the sun and it makes the big lens even bigger I'm thinking it will help keep the lens clean since it's so damn deep. I'll already look like a dork with a big camera so what's another 3" of lens...
