Hi guys. I've got a pretty messed up story, and I'm looking for anyone who can sell me a ticket for any LA show. Check this out:
I went on NIN.com for the presale...got in to buy a set for the show, but I let them go because my friend (who I had been planning to go to the show with since the news broke) said he got two sets--one set for the Palladium and one set for the Wiltern. I said like three times, "Are you SURE I can go with you?!" I wasn't going to buy extras cuz that's messed up to try to make money off this last tour. Last week, I gave my "friend" a check for the ticket....it was set in stone. Just two days ago, he texts me and says he might sell them because he's being offered $1,000. Wow. So even though we planned it, I let other tix go, and paid him...he took it upon himself to sell my ticket for a profit. He confirmed this with a text "I'm selling 'em. F off." I'm soooo upset because this was my last chance to see NIN. I've been a fan since I was like 13...love the old stuff most, but do enjoy the new as well. It would be the greatest revenge to be able to go after he effed me over...and it would make my year 
PS His name is Aaron Hurtado...not sure what his sn is here..he may have sold them to one of you!....but he's a sell out!!! | |

I'd like to point out this sentence that appears on the back of all NIN.com tickets.
I doubt that its something that has ever been carried out but I think there are some tickets out there right now that deserve to be voided. It's wrong to try and make a profit off tickets and to to be as unscrupulous as take a ticket away from someone (especially Mary, because I've known her for a long time and she's awesome)...it's just wrong. Everyone who has used a fans' love and rabid desire to see Nine Inch Nails to cash in absolutely deserve picking up their tickets only to see a large VOID stamp on the front of them. Which yeah, you know, it would suck for the person who bought that ticket for whatever painful price they probably paid but the fact is, this scalping thing is a two way street. People wouldn't sell tickets for overly inflated prices if there weren't others willing giving their money over to these creeps. P.S. Sorry if this micro-rant is a little off topic... I second this. I was an avid Metro user for years here in L.A. It really only works with specific locations in mind. The rail lines are sparse, leaving only buses for many locations, most of which do not run at night or may not run late enough. As with anywhere else, cabs are very pricey and not really a good option.
It takes a bit of doing to become a seasoned Metro rider, and even then one cannot overcome the limitations of the relatively small system. Given that, a car is probably your best bet for avoiding headaches, especially if you intend to sightsee all around the L.A. area. Traveling any long distance (downtown to east L.A, L.A. to beach, etc.) on the Metro is a bitch, either involving extensive transfers or long rides spent on a single bus that stops at every intersection in downtown while standing due to lack of free seats (Metro bus line 2, anyone?). Just be sure to check freeway traffic conditions before heading out so you don't get stuck for hours in gridlock. That being said, if you decide you want to use some public transportation or are still unsure and would like to know more about the Metro system, feel free to PM me and ask.
