Okay, so I have an available +1 for Henry Fonda. These are floor tickets.
It sucks to be someone picking out one person from a whole group that really wants to go to this concert, but it will be nice to see it get in the hands of a fan.
So here's the deal. If you want a ticket you just need to email me some info to . I'd say just do it here, but I can go through emails quicker this way.
If I'm going to stand in a line for a few hours, it would be cool to be able to talk to the person next to me. And there's a better chance of that working if we have some things in common. And if we become friends from it that'd be cool too. So... just tell me about yourself. Tell me who you are, what you like, what you don't like, what you're doing with your life, etc., etc.
Additional info to include:
1) Where you live, how are you getting to the concert, and when you're getting there. If you're from out of town it'd still be nice to know where you're from, but include where you're staying in LA. This could be good for possible carpooling, although I may take the subway.
2) Your cell phone number and good time to call you.
3) Real name (so I know who to ask for when I call) and nin.com screen name.
Don't make this about how much NIN means to you, how many NIN concerts you've been to, how much you want to go to this concert, why you deserve to go, etc., etc. Clearly NIN means a lot to all of us and we all deserve to go. And I'm not one to say any one person is a bigger NIN fan than everyone else or that one person deserves to go more than anyone else.
When I've decided, I will email and call the person I picked. I may email tonight, but I won't call until the morning, and probably not before 10am (but give me some times that are good to call you). If you don't answer, I will leave a message. You'll have 1 hour to call back before I move on to the next person.
If you're picked and you show up, but you aren't the person you claimed to be, no ticket. I don't like liars and cheats, and at that point will call the next person on the list or pick someone from the "hopeful" line outside the venue. Basically, don't be a 40-year-old guy telling me you're a hot 25-year-old woman. Just be yourself and tell me about the real you.
The ticket isn't free, so be sure to bring $65 cash with you. No cash, no ticket.
I was thinking I'd probably get to the venue around 3pm, maybe even 4pm when they start to hand out the tickets/wristbands.
I already have a Wiltern ticket, so no need to offer a trade.
I may get too many requests to respond to everyone, so if I don't respond it's nothing against you.
Good luck to you all in your search.
-Mike
