I'm going to Vfest! Thought Molson was the time I'd see NIN and now there's another concert to look forward to! Fucking amazing!

07/18/09 10:18 AM

I am going on Sunday, but need someone to camp out with that night.

See you all there!

07/18/09 11:01 AM

Ill be there smiling smiley

07/18/09 1:39 PM

Got 2 weekend tickets. I'll probably be staying overnight in Barrie, in an air conditioned basement, rather than camping out.

fucking gay. i'm not going to this. over priced festival with shitty line up in the back woods of northern ontario. even if i did want to go, i can't get to barrie or whatever town its in. nah, sitting through our lady peace to get another short outdoor set, and end up spending that much money isn't worth it to me. and even if they did play an actual venue in toronto like in nyc, chicago and LA, i wouldn't get a ticket because of how the presales work on this site.

For anyone who doesn't mind paying about $7 per band, which includes the Pixies, Sloan (you Americans are in for a treat seeing Sloan), Mutemath, Mew, etc., get your tickets from futureshop.ca: no convenience fees, no handling fees, just shipping and the facility fee/Virgin donation. Keep your money away from Ticketbastards.

I know I will hate myself for not going when the day comes, but I can't justify the expense. I am too old and crotchety to endure a festival, especially a festival that involves Our Lady Peace.

07/18/09 6:00 PM

ya pretty much this festival blows cock... going to see NIN one last time

07/18/09 7:06 PM

i'll find a where there too, worse case scenario i greyhound it up there and stay at a motel 6 or something, unless someone wants to pick me up in the hammer

Wow... and here I thought Toronto was the last time I'd be able to see NIN! I'm not a fan of any of the other bands playing at V-Fest but I'll gladly pay $100 just to see NIN one last time.

Sounds like someone is a whining little pussy with no car and no money......

This is more of what we like to see. Sloan and Franz Ferdinand are OK, not a Lollapalooza by any stretch, but worth it for Nails. And BTW, who knows if this is going to be a "short-set".

Thanks Trent!

I don't like camping, have never heard of Oro Station and OLP almost makes me angry, but....HOLY SHIT I GET TO SEE NIN ONE MORE TIME! Whatever it takes is going to be so worth it!
Bought weekend passes for my nephew and I to make sure we got them. Will likely only be there Sunday but couldn't risk it by waiting for the one day pass. I've taken him to NIN a few times in the last two years and he was happy to hear about this.

So it's going to be amazing. We'll just have to wear NIN tshirts to stand our from the OLP fans! smiling bouncing smiley

anyone who says the lineup sucks is probably not very well informed/has poor taste. Grizzly Bear will be there, Cold War Kids, a bunch of others!

07/19/09 4:51 PM

Right in my back yard! this is awesome. NO RAIN!

I'd go if they happened to offer VIP tickets for one day only, at a one-day price level ... like that's gonna happen, though. It'll be great to see everyone's pics and vids...

Oh, and if you want to save money on accommodations I suggest trying [www.couchsurfing.org]
Just crash at someone's house in Barrie or ask to camp for free in their backyard. I couchsurfed across Arizona earlier this year and it worked like a charm. The people you stay with tend to be really cool eccentric types too. grinning smiley

I think we just lucked out for this VFest deal...seems like a lot of people got shut out of NIN.com presale tickets and can't go to the small venue shows in the US....should be room for all of us in Burl's Creek!

if anyone buys me a ticket and gives me a ride and bees my friend on sunday, i'll go, and be your friend. but i lack tits, so i will get the fuck out.

I don't know if these festivals ever sell out, but I'm tired of looking for good tickets on kijiji once I get my ass in gear only to find out I'm too late. I bit the bullet and got a weekend pass. I'm not sure if I'll bother to make it down for saturday; a full weekend away from my family will be hard to justify. One day away to see trent one last last time ( or last last for a few years and then maybe back again) is certainly worthy.

I doubt I'll find anyone around Cambridge who will want to go, but should anyone in TO or area want a ride up and hang out at the fest, send me a shout.

07/21/09 2:02 PM

My cottage is just round the corner, hey maybe i can make some money off of americans tenting on my lawn, lol. Anyways hope the single day tickets come on sale soon.

07/21/09 10:45 PM

Got home today to find my tickets in the mailbox. That was freakin' quick.

07/21/09 11:46 PM

This beats Bonaroo! The last large venue show NIN will ever play is in Ontario, Canada! No one should miss this even hours away...

I went to buy my ticket and I automatically just asked for a weekend pass (wanna see the Pixies anyway), but they gave me my ticket as 2 tickets for each individual day, and charged me $64.50 for one day ($129 for both). So seeing this it seemed to me they are already selling single day passes... I am also just gonna drive up there from Toronto back n' forth on both days, camping overnight rounds up being alot more expensive I found...

07/23/09 11:14 AM

I am coming all the way from Hamiton to see this show! CANT WAIT SEE YOU ALL THERE!

07/23/09 3:36 PM

I think it is frickin champ that they added another show! Anyone bitching about it must of had better luck getting pre-sale tickets than all of the rest of us grateful folks. I'll take what I can get. Hats off to you Trent!!
