I'm sure the cheap seats are around the balcony (sections B & C), which is WAY far from the stage. Think graduated nosebleed section. The seats on the floor (sections M & R) are the concourse and they are mobile, meaning padded folding chairs. Click on the link below, then the link on the left at the bottom of that page that says:
Seating
Scroll over the diagram and it shows you the view from each section. There's no way in hell they're putting removable folding chairs out for a NIN concert. One drunk idiot and there's the end of that show. The GA tickets for the presale are on the concourse, the floor of the center, so unless they have a way of bolting down those chairs, that's a standing section; the GA tickets sold after the presale are on the balcony, and those seats will be first come, first serve, hence it is general admission, just two-tiered GA, so two-tiered pricing.
If anyone LIVES in CR and would like to go, send me a PM. I want to take my son, but I've decided it might be too risky. Maybe in a couple years, if NIN is touring again, when he's a little older and a little taller. The boyfriend doesn't really like NIN too much (somehow, someway, I ended up with a rock n' roller, old hair metal drummer, redneck, Libertarian...they do say something about opposites attracting, but it's still kind of a shock...heh). So, while I'd love to take 2 of the three important men in my life (the third is 4; he is definitely NOT going), I'd much rather bring someone old enough who actually enjoys the music, too. Free ticket. I paid for it already. All you have to do is show up and say thank you, and then you can even be on your way, if you don't like me. Wouldn't blame you. I can get annoying.
