This was my first nin concert. I wish I could go to more but we are in a state of constant brokenness. Hopefully, I can bring my oldest to the next one.

OMG! Will people just stop complaining already about the negative aspects that happened during the show (or appeared to be negative aspects to the person complaining) talk about the positive and good aspects of the show.

I thought the whole show was awesome. I have no complaints except for not winning the costume contest, bc I'm never lucky enough to win anything. LOL! But oh well.

I still had an amazing time and everything. Let's forget the complaints and talk about how awesome and amazing the show was. I think Trent needs a hug, especially after last night during his speech. He seemed like he really needed one. *virtual hug to Trent* LOL!

Anyway. I'm thankful for meeting all the kool folks I did and made some new friends. =)

I added a shit load of pics on myspace and a 2 videos on youtube.
My Myspace (it's private, but add me as a friend) =)

My youtube page

Anyway. I hope to hear from some of the people I met last night!!

Hope everyone still had a good time at the show, regardless of the complaints.

20 more days I will be going again for a 3rd time in Columbia, MO!!

WOOHOO!

Some are up on Youtube, these one in particular has some great video and audio, pretty rare in

In fact, all the guy's videos from the concert are pretty solid. Props to him.

Edit: Nice videos!

The band was awesome, and I had a blast. Can't wait for the next time!
Maybe my boyfriend will actually request the days off far enough in advance. eye rolling smiley
Being at a concert without a friend isn't as much fun.

Back to the point of this thread:

I was a tiny bit disappointed in the setlist. I was at the Duluth show when they played reptile. I was really hoping to hear that again. Or anything off TDS besides motp and closer. And I miss hearing "suck" live. Regardless of that, though, this show was so much better than the Duluth show. The band seemed a lot more aggressive and into it.

How cool was it watching Bush's picture morph into Mccain during the hand that feeds?

This was my fifth show, and since my husband and I have been so broke lately and working constantly, it was fantastic to get a chance to enjoy a great concert. I just wish I had the money to follow them around like some of the people I talked to.

I agree, back to the point....I was also at the Duluth show and I thought the band was much more aggressive in Nashville. This was my 3rd show and I have enjoyed every one I've been to. I can't say that one show was better than another, it tends to boil down to how good my seats are because I know going to a NIN concert is going to be an amazing experience. I wonder what's next after this tour is over??

11/01/08 8:52 PM

What costume won the contest?

11/01/08 10:10 PM

Awesome show last night in Nash~Vegas! The crowd was lame, but NIN was very energetic. The "laser pointer guy" needs his ass kicked!!!!! Hope you have found your Tech Guy, Keep us posted on any info...

I was at Voodoo & that was a kickass show...The crowd & NIN were great!!!!

11/01/08 10:41 PM

I forgot what her costume was really, she was dressed in black, had spiked hair kind of, and looked like she was suppose to be like an emo/sucicidal chick.

I honestly think the person who should have won should have been the dead baby or the doctor and insane patient.

But oh well. It was fun to do anyway. LOL! I was such a dork.

I thought the show was fucking incredible. If the crowd was low energy, maybe it was because they were mesmerised by the unbelievable light show that was going on; I know I was. Several of the songs were more introspective, as well-- Ghosts is a good example. I don't think I could have been happier with the show overall.

Ginalu! I recognize you!

On a side note, I was on the left side of the stage, on the rail in the front. About three rows back from me was a guy with a blondish buzzcut and blue eyes. We made eye contact a ridiculous amount of times. If you're reading this by chance, I wanted to talk to you, and tried to catch you after the show, but you disappeared! So send me a message or something. smiling smiley

I recognize you too!!

I was behind both of you guys on the floor before the show. I was the blonde guy fiddling with my ipod touch.

People with cameras. Learn how to use them in low light/concert areas, there is nothing more annoying than me having to watch you try to take a shot and fool with your camera cause the shots are shaky, underexposed, overexposed and/or whatever else you don't fucking understand with your camera. I really could care less about it until your holding your camera up in my POV and I cannot see the damn concert. As a graphic designer that had a photo minor I have to say most of the shots I saw… I will go with the rule: If you have nothing nice to say…

I'm sorry if this is referring to me.

I remember a tiny pink haired girl that fiddled with her Ipod touch a lot, but I don't think I saw a guy with one. Are you the blond guy as referred to in my above post? Or a different blond guy completely? Lol.

She was right in front of me. No, I had longer hair and was wearing a blue jacket.

Oh okay. I remember you now.

So did we ever find out if Trent's video tech was okay?

Why can't everyone just have fun at nine inch nails concerts? Everyone seems to be pissed about something...I personally think it should just be looked at as a great experience regardless of where you were sitting(or standing) and whether or not you did get to meet the band. You got to be there and see it. Thats more than some people could say. Whatever you didn't get to do shouldn't get in the way of the fact that you got to see it, and experience it live! I love the music, I was only there to listen to the music, it is almost as if some of you (really just one of you) are acting like they owe you something? The band rocked their asses off! With that they get all my respect. Being a super obsessed fan isn't about obsessing to meet the artist, but about respect. After they rocked out like that I would tired too, whether or not they did see you, it is pretty selfish to expect that they would come on out and wave to the fans. They had to be in nc tonight to do another concert.

I wish more people would've have respected Ghosts. True fans respect whatever the artist makes so the ones that booed Ghosts, should have, like some of you said been kicked out right there.

Those are my thoughts on everything. I am sorry if some of you don't like what I have to say. I just wish more of you would have had more great things to say about the band.

Good thing I couldn't here any booing of the Ghosts from where I was on the floor otherwise I would have popped a vein in my head from all the stupidity.
