Hit-packed/stranger,less predictable. It's all good. As the lovely TheMurderScene posted, your true fans will be impressed with whatever you chose to play. The set did kick ass last night!

link for a full recording i made of this concert. recorded on a zoom h2 as a wav 44.1/16. converted to flac, 0 compression. it's otherwise unaltered at this point, the channels need to be flipped and balanced, eq'd a little, etc. other than that, i'm extremely pleased with the quality that the zoom has.

edit: btw, this is only nin, not sssc or ja

trent, the show was fantastic.
the set was awesome, almost word for word from the NIN mix on my iPod.
although it was a bit short, the time we had was amazing.
Hearing the downward spiral live was incredible, and having you splash sweat on me in the pit when you jumped out during piggy was something I won't forget.
And thank you for bringing SSSC into this, because they were great.
Thanks for the awesome night.

Everything was PERFECT. Anyone bitchin' just wasnt at the right place. I got to meet Boots Riley, shook his hand and everything. It was GREAT! I'll post some shit soon. Concert was the bomb! NJ all of you, overall, nice job Trent.

Thank you!

I posted the SSSC set on page one if you want it... I just put up an MP3, converted directly on the H2.

Awesome show!! I have to say I enjoyed this one better than LITS. Raw and in your face. The set list was brilliant as usual, Nails always proves their ability no matter.
Janes was fun. Perfect balnce of raw from Nails to fun colorful and twisted from Janes. Dave can rip up a guitar Bad ass. Great performers. Perry really is a special unique crowd connector. Loved every second of this. This goes down as the best show I have ever seen. Only complaint is Janes didn't play any Strays. Crowd was so nice I met so many nice people.
Pics and video coming soon.

Brilliant show! I flew down from Columbus OH for this show and wasn't disappointed, although missed the first 2 songs of NIN set due to the ridiculous traffic coming into the venue. Great surpise to see I Do Not Want This and The Downward Spiral - anyone else see Rob filming I Do Not Want This? Hopefully we'll see it pretty soon!

Welcome to my world!

I really appreciate how diverse the set lists are compared to each other. As a fan who able to head to the first two shows, I was really happy to hear only a small overlap of songs (5) and some of my most favorite tracks. 15 of the 20 tracks played in Tampa were not played in West Palm. Both sets were simply amazing

I really enjoyed the "And All that Could've Been" 1-6 streak. My favorites from last night were Now I'm Nothing / Terrible Lie, The Frail / The Wretched, Non-Entity and Lights in the Sky. Favorites from West Palm: Somewhat Damaged <3, I'm Afraid of Americans, The Fragile, and Right Where it Belongs.

I also thought the "Now I'm Nothing" and/or "Lights in the Sky" should be a staple for this tour with the "Wave Goodbye" lyrics; it was very fitting.

Going to the Atlanta show tonight. Is Jane's Addiction playing last for this tour? Or is NIN taking the final spot? Just wanted to ask those who've already seen.

Amazing show.
I was going to stick around for Jane's...

Then I got carted off to the hospital... sad smiley

For those wondering about what songs SSSC played, I know for a fact the following were played:

Fight! Smash! Win!
100 Little Curses
The Oath
Somewhere In the World It's Midnight
Nobody Moves (Til We Say Go)
Paper Planes (M.I.A. Cover)

I know for a fact Clap for the Killers wasn't played. Not sure about the other ones.

It completely blows my mind to see people on here complaining about the setlist, the time NIN goes on, the "Last Tour" bullshit and all the side jabs at Trent for wanting to take a break.
This fucking guy has put out numerous albums and toured almost non-stop since With-Teeth came out. He not only releases albums, but lets you have them for FREE, lets you record video/audio from the shows and the LITS show was better than anything Flyd put on in their best days.
What the fuck else do you want the guy to do? Fly you to the show in his own personal helicopter, then drive you home and cradle you to sleep....

I think anyone with a brain can see the guy needs a rest. He's not dying, he's not saying he'll never come back, he's saying it's time to pack it in for a bit and live his life for himself and not for all of us.

Support him. Go to the show, enjoy it....take some pictures, sing along and Wave Goodbye.

Was at the show last night and have to admit I was a virgin. As a matter of fact I wasn't even into NIN. My buddy Kenny Peace bought the tickets, so I was in. Oh my fucking god...I'm still shaking from what was definitely a life changing musical experience. I totally get it now. Thanks brother...

You'd think something being announced as a final tour or culmination would be not NIN playing in the sunlight (since when do NIN fans like sun?) opening for janes addiction which is so inferior to NIN i can't explain it right now. For the highest price I've ever paid for a concert me and my party who've also seen NIN multiple times expected more than the most lackluster stage show to date visuals wise, and NIN opening. We all felt it was a very Brett Favre ending and a lot of people were hoping for a true NIN show of visual and auditory overload not what was had. I left with blueballs as did my people, and everyone walking out after the show from what I heard had very similar feelings. The people who'd never been to a concert or seen NIN were satisfied for the most part, but the rest felt like we just got fisted unlubed, the tickets should have been no more than 29.99
I swear when we walked in and realized NIN was already on stage and what was happening I thought I was having a nightmare and so did the people I was with. I want my money back.

I showed up on time and did my job. You want a refund because you got there late? I have explained everywhere I can what this show is - if you're such a big fan I would have thought you might have seen one of the several explanations I've given.
Also, please don't use sports analogies when referring to me or NIN - that's going too far.

Unbelievable! We have been to several shows since the Broken tour- if you seen early NIN you would know this was the way it began and it is the way it ended. I am surprised you found your way here.. It doesn't pay to be late. Your loss.

Amen, Trent!!! Is this idiot for real??? OMFG!! When I finally see my last 2 shows in Chicago and Indy (shows #24 and 25 for me) I will be ecstatic with each and every surprise that you play, and I will soak in every last bittersweet moment that we share "together" for what may be the last time. I am just stunned by some of the crap I've been reading. I have been with NIN for all of the 20 yrs, and I am tending to believe these people are just too young or too dumb. Either way, what you're doing on this tour is ONCE AGAIN, incredible ......ART!

05/10/09 2:49 PM

This is so classic! Trent, don't refund anything!

My only complaint last night was I wish (Wish... haha...) both performances never ended! Both NIN and JA were amazing! Keep it up! An awesome farewell to my favorite band!

Bret Favre??? ooof... that was bad...

speak for yourself. 'the rest of us' and 'everyone' and (paraphrased) 'people who've been to more than one nin show' are generalizations that assume that because you got there late and had a shitty time, that everyone else had a shitty time. like trent said, not only was the itinerary clearly explained in multiple ways, but also the production was explained as being not only a creative choice, but a way of being able to do such amazing set list changes as we've seen in just the first two dates thus far. it was an amazing show, and in my opinion, no show should be judged by the difference in the number of lights on stage and your ability to read a clock.

05/10/09 1:57 PM

Did "fan of 16 years" really just get digitally owned by the person he's been a fan of for 16 years? Ouch.

Then again, a fan of 16 years should have more sense than to show up late, let alone tell anybody he did.

Trent! F the nay-sayers! Your true fans are the ones that just enjoy witnessing any of your performances. You guys just rocked it once again last night! When you flew off the stage while I was in the pit I thought "That is the shit! Right there! The fucker still has it!!!" That one dude complained about visuals??? WTF? We had that with LITS! That plus a powerful performance!! Visuals? NIN don't need no stinking visuals!

When there is a NIN performance it will be a sure classic event. As usual, you guys delivered! Don't let the idiots get to you. You got a long tour ahead. Focus on just kicking everyones asses on stage!

I love ya man... tear... in the utmost manish way... tear...

A full show by NIN and a full show by Janes...I would not even say it would be fair to say SSSC was the opening act...they fucking tore that place up...its a shame that "fans" are going out of their way to make such asses out themelves and being whiney little bitches about it.

If you want a full blow show with puppets and people flying on wires go see Meatloaf or catch Britney Spears next time she passes through town.
