So if you were there, share your experiences.

IF YOU WERE NOT PHYSICALLY THERE, DON'T POST IN THIS THREAD! Seriously. I'll track you down and force you to listen to Nickelback songs if you do post in here but didn't attend the show.

OMG great show! I was in the pit, six from center stage right in front of Trent. I'm the one who started the moshing during March of the Pigs (sorry). Was great to hear Gave Up.... along with So Physical (first time hearing that one live). No Encore tonight tho sad smiley

Went apeshit when he played Burn.

Played a few numbers from The Slip... sounds great live.

Ended with In This Twilight with the band members each leaving the stage one at a time... finally leaving Trent playing the piano softly....

Was my third time seeing NIN and this was definitely one of the best.

I think Trent is doing a special song for each date that won't be played on the other setlists (may be wrong about that). Would have loved to hear Maybe Just Once.. perhaps he'll do it on another show.

That was fabulous. I was up against the rail for the whole thing, right in front of JMJ. The pic from Twitter that Navarro sent our of Trent jumping into the pit was when he was literally right on top of me. Can't believe how much better it is to see the show up close. Thanks to Stacy and Crystal- it was fun hanging out with you. And thanks to everyone else in the pit for being a good fun civilized bunch!

05/14/09 11:41 PM

You guys have fun???

I'm real sad after seeing them in Austin a couple of days ago.

05/14/09 11:42 PM

Thank you Trent AWESOME,

I love the vulnerability that you are showing. Anyone that is unhappy with the stripped down show doesnt matter because this show is not for them! OMFG Amazing... I will miss NIN so much....

Nice way to wrap it up

05/14/09 11:51 PM

Wow!
That's all I can say!
Burn, The Fragile, & Metal were my favourites.

Thank you Trent, we are gonna miss you so much.

[Got in the pit at Piggy and during Jane's, my girlfriend and I met Tom Morello, JMJ, and Robin...damn he's tall!!!]

05/14/09 11:52 PM

Was able to take plenty of photos and video tape most of the show. My arms are sore! I'll post it in here as soon I get it up.

05/15/09 12:24 AM

Chances are you probably saw me at the show.

I was the dude in the red pants!

[P.S. ROB IS SO FUCKING TALL!!!]

05/15/09 12:24 AM

Awesome experience tonight! What else can I say?

Trent, thank you for everything you do. I will remember this night for the rest of my life. Hopefully I can catch you guys again later on in the tour. Thanks again!

05/15/09 12:27 AM

We rocked the pit! I lost a battery from my camera during it all though. I must've high-fives and knuckled six or seven people around all night.

Asked to dance with this really hot JA fan girl during one song. Got rejected for the second dance. No regrets!

Best show show of my life. My left leg almost gave out. Thank you everyone!

05/15/09 1:07 AM

Had a great time. I was 2nd row center in the pit (right of front of Trent). Wished I could seen the "I'm afraid of Americans" during the sound check.

05/15/09 1:15 AM

Can anyone post a set list for this show they're 100% sure about in the order of it's performance for nin?

05/15/09 1:16 AM

Damn great show!! Metal, Physical and TDTWWA! I was in the pit center stage right 3 back wearing the FistFuck shirt. Trent and Co. totally brought the house down! And Trent throwing around the mic stands and his tambourine stand was GREAT. When Trent came into the crowd i was just to the right. That was soo cool.

Trent I hope we gave you the response you missed out of in Tx. I know I gave it my all!! And to the people who have bitched (not in our thread) about the show starting in the daylight: you're idiots. Day, night, it didn't matter. The show was awesome!!

Thanks again Trent, Robin, Justin and Ilan for the memories!!

I'll try to post some pics/vids later.

Anyone have a setlist?

Simply amazing! The show was just so moving and beautiful. I was in the very front against the gate, right in front of Robin. I still can't believe that they played "The Day the World Went Away". That was so awesome and nicely done. My favorite is still "The Fragile". Bravo, guys. An experience I won't forget.

05/15/09 5:05 AM

Sick show tonight! Can't remember the whole setlist, but can tell you they played BURN and TDTWWA!!! Videos of those two will be uploaded soon. They also threw in the regular version of PIGGY and closed with my favorite last song IN THIS TWILIGHT. Brilliant show.

Still hoping they toss in BESIDE YOU IN TIME or THE LINE BEGINS TO BLUR in place of THTF one of these days....

I'm "Billy Connolly" in that pic.

It was an awesome show... Great setlist. I also had a blast winning passes in the " itch" contest. I wish I had run into more people backstage but it was a great experience overall. Looking forward to seeing what Trent tackles next....

05/15/09 8:27 AM

Damn! They opened with Somewhat Damaged! I want the same setlist May 30.

05/15/09 9:13 AM

Good show! Very good in fact. 3 great bands. Was a bit worried when SSSC came on but by the time they were done the crowd was rocking. Dont know if it was the best NIN show I've ever been to (been seeing them since lolla) but they rocked it. But I knew they would. They always do. Same for JA! Anyone leaving after NIN is just dumb. lol.
Anyway, my GF got drunk,(yes, she was "the drunk chick at the concert"winking smiley my daughter saw me hit a joint, (I'll be having a talk with her today. LOL) And I paid 9 fucking 50 for a beer! Yes, ONE beer. Good times!
I liked what Perry said (LOVE his honesty) That Abq is just a place bands stop and play on their way to some place else. Something like that anyway. But I do believe we showed them a good time and I do believe they, all 3 bands, will be back. Keep rocking it hard Abq!!!!!! And prey for a TOOL show! Look for them mid July...IF they come here.
Anyway, T-rez, if you're reading this, thanks for all the good music and good times over the years. Go make a baby. Yeah... blah blah blah.

What moshing? I was in the pit about three rows back with my husband, and I witnessed two attempts to start moshing during the entire night. One fizzled quickly (probably yours), and the other was immediately quenched by security who dragged the poor guy out.

WTF?!? I moshed straight through the 90's when people left shows bloody but completely exuberant from the excitement. It felt like Naziville in the pit. I was afraid to touch anybody around me! Every show I've been to the past few years from FF to MSI to NIN has included no moshing AT ALL! People get pissed when you try to get something started, and security drags the moshers out like criminals. WTF?!?

Tis a shame. Not as much fun as it used to be. How can you NOT mosh during March of the Pigs? It just ain't right! What's the point of a pit if we just stand around like zombies while Trent and his band have all the fun?

About the show, though, it was great. There's something special about New Mexico, and I think the bands picked up on it last night. Trent gave us a great show with loads of great songs, although I would have liked more from YZ since I've already seen most of the others he played live in past shows. I can't listen to "In This Twilight" without thinking of "Two Suns in the Sunset" by PF. Is it just me?

TOOL might come to Albuquerque? I'll pray for it. That would be awesome!
