No, Home was played in the concert.

It's the same recording as the MP3 right, just in FLAC? If so, then I will keep the MP3 version cause it sounds great.

Yeah, it's the same recording, just in lossless format. Some people requested it in FLAC, so I figured to put that up as well.

The show was sick...I thought that the lightning really added something as well. Seeing the bolts flash through the sky was like the best light show possible. Sucked that the rain was so bad, though. And the fact that there was a tornado siren. I was rocking out so hard to "Metal" that I didn't even hear it though. smiling smiley

Oh, and did anyone see that Christan protester out in the parking lot on the way in? That was hilarious. (No offense to any religious folks, just the idea of coming to protest a NIN concert) He was saying "You could be sitting at the right hand of God, but instead you choose to embrace the servants of Satan! But it is not too late to change your ways..." as my dad and I walked by and we both cracked up. It looked like someone threw a beer bottle at him, too.

I didn't see that guy but someone else on here mentioned him. It's funny though, lol, I didn't think going to a NIN concert on a saturday meant I was embracing the servants of Satan... lol... but now that I think of it, the concert made me want to perform evil unspeakable acts... I CAN'T RESIST THE URGE... AHHHHH!!!!! if I had only been fortunate enough to be persuaded by the ways of the christian protester, I could have been saved, it's too late now though.

On a more serious note, I was impressed by the concert and everyone there (minus the guy who fails to interpret what things mean, so instead sees things that are different as evil and anti-christian, which, though funny, set's us back a step in not discriminating against people... i.e. HE/SHE IS SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT THAN ME SO HE/SHE IS EVIL!) I'm looking forward to seeing SSSC in the future and hopefully more NIN...

My 10-minute collection of clips. Filmed from just left of center out in the lawn so the quality is nothing like you guys who were up close, but it still takes me back - what a freakin show!

Wave Goodbye in Noblesville (various moments)

Will be posting another of Hurt soon.

06/03/09 9:42 AM

I was a regular VIP ticket holder. I didn't donate or anything. I got there kind of late (maybe 15 minutes before SSSC). What did I miss. Did regular VIP's get to see the soundcheck or anything?

06/03/09 10:13 AM

haha, the Christian protester was great.

What was he thinking sitting there rambling off his feelings to everyone?

Anyone think he knew all about Trent being there?
He might have really felt he has to so his piece...
considering...

awesome, awesome show. we were in the lawn and didn't mind getting drenched at all. the storm added to the whole experience.

I am a little late in posting, been busy traveling back from Indy and then catching up at work all week...

Not too much more to add to what has been said, SSSC was amazing, can't wait to get their album in a few weeks. Morello is a guitar god, really enjoyed watching him play. Trent and the boys delivered, this is our 3rd show in less than year and they all been amazing in their own way. I've never been a big fan of Jane's, but have always respected their place in history. Perry is an odd fellow, but man, he puts on a show! I hope I can catch another tour date, but I doubt it.

I was especially happy for them once it started to storm. Where ever you two are, hope you had a great time!

Very VERY cool. Major karma points for you.

This probably means you got to hang out with the most annoying concert goer ever, she was sitting in front of us for most of the show, talking the entire time, telling everyone that NIN or JA (depending on who was on stage) were her favorite band ever! As soon as she saw Boots in the pit she headed up there and talked his ear off for the rest of the set. I was glad she left our area, but felt bad for Boots, he just wanted to enjoy Jane's set, not listen to some girl talk his ear off.

Is there ANY other way any for those of us that DON'T have an account on DIME to get these reccordings, maybe in mp# as well? I have one copy of the NIN set from this show so far. I would really love the Jane's and SSSC set's on Audio too. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My friend Nikki and I drove for 4 hours to get to this show, and it was so worth it!! We got there just as SSSC went on, thanks to our dumbasses thinking it was central time (apparently we don't get out much). I'm kind of in love with Tom Morello now. He is AMAZING!! Definitely one of the best openers I've seen for NIN. Well, except for Peaches. She was a fucking riot.

NIN's set was incredible. I about died when he sang Fragile. It was the one song I really wanted to hear live since it's the song that started my whole NIN obsession in '99. I was super bummed that I was unable to score pit tickets though. Our seats were very good, but I missed the intensity of the pit.

We were very bad and left before JA went on, but we had a 4 hour drive to Ann Arbor, MI and we were going to the meet and greet at DTE the next day so sleep was a priority.

I did see someone talking to him for awhile, but I thought it was someone he knew. One of the other band members from SSSC (the blonde guitar player - don't know his name) and Perry Farrell's wife Etty were with him, so it didn't occur to me it was just some random fan. I even felt weird about asking him to take a quick picture, but I left him alone after that.

I'm finally getting around to uploading all the video I took to YouTube. I don't have much left to do. Unfortunately, my Flip ran out of room less than a minute into Wish, but I still captured over half the show. Also, this is from the pit, so through parts of it, it gets pretty shaky.

Also, be sure to click on HQ... it's not high def, but it is better quality than regular YouTube.

Yeah I saw him when I had to go back to my truck to take back shit the venue said we could bring, errr!!!
When I first walked past him I told him "your god is dead and no one cares" I had to.
And on the way back I thanked him for helping bands like NIN sell tickets all these years. winking smiley what a nice guy.

ha ha, that's great. I must've missed the fuckin' Bible thumping this time around, but I witnessed it last year outside one of the 'Lights' shows in Michigan. I actually feel sorry for those idiots sitting out there, WASTING their time.

Better late than never right...

So, there I was enjoying the best burrito I've had in a very long time in Wicker Park, Chicago. I got on access and was reading posts and one said that meet and greet was in 2 hrs. I started doing the math in my head and suddenly realized that I had forgotten about the time change. My hubby and I made it from Wicker Park, Chi to the venue in 2hrs. and 20 min (at 4:20)! Of course, the M&G line was so long we could have hitchhiked and still made it in time, lol. So, we took our place as 243 and 244 in line.

Soundcheck was awesome...can't believe I got to hear The Wretched again. But, LITS really stole my heart. That was like an episode of Rescue Me. First your laughing your ass off because Trent messed up the key at the beginning and then you end up sobbing because it's so damn beautiful in the end. That was the first time I cried that day...

We missed SSSC's set because we were pretty much bringing up the end of the line. I did M&G in Chicago and managed to act slightly normal. I'm not sure what happened in Indy (I guess the real group pic did it), but I became the social equivalent of a 2 yr. old. Hugged Trent, stepped on his foot...embarassing...

The show was great, but after having amazing seats in KC and being dead, front center of the Chi pit (and living) it was pretty mellow in comparison. I did love how the pavilion held the sound in so that the audience's singing seemed much louder than in KC and Chi. That was very cool, especially for Head Like A Hole and Hurt. Metal was fucking awesome, again. The storm was awesome and somehow absolutely perfect. I was sobbing so bad during The Hand That Feeds that I couldn't sing it...and laughing at the same time, because who in the hell cries during that? But, I knew it was the beginning of the encore and the beginning of the end. Cried again during Hurt and in the bathroom afterwards...was in a pretty depressed mood in general after it was all over.

Couldn't really appreciate Jane's that night because of being in lots of pain from the Chicago pit the night before and just being sad that NIN was over. We left after Ted, Just Admit It. When we were walking out to our car, NIN's bus was driving away right next to us and that really brought the whole 'wave goodbye' theme home. I think I did wave...
