sorry if this seems a little off topic, but I was at the show; I had the meet and greet option(in the first 25? that went to meet the band) but I have no idea how to find the two pics rob took of that group, or even if they are available yet.

Any help or input would be appreciated!

Perry is the hugest homo ever! I'm still waiting for him to come out of the closet. The moment they started playing that first song and he was prancing around the stage like Freddy Fucking Mercury in his corset none the less, I couldn't even watch them or take them seriously, it was just too much gay for even George Michael to take in.

At least you listened and gave them a chance, but I have to say if you don't like the music that is one thing and you are of course entitled to but if your just going to trash on Perry personally because you think he is a queer then you lose your relevance. You could always put yourself up on stage in front of thousands of people every night and let everyone see your 'flaws'

Perry enjoys himself on stage and tries to entertain people. I wish more performers would just let themselves go like him instead of worrying what people like you think of them. You are never going to please everyone so he does it for those of us who appreciate it not for the ones tossing insults.

Here are some pics of the Further Down the Spiral v2 sealed cd that Prag (her guest) was so generous enough to get signed for me! Quite the collectible.

100% with you on this one.
Perry is a great performer and so are the other JA members. Even if he's gay and sucks Dave Navarro's dick every night, I couldn't care less. People who care about this kind of stuff really have to do something about their narrow-mindedness.
I wasn't sure whether I'd like JA after NIN, but I thought they were great and I really enjoyed it. And you gotta love this corset! So, well done guys!

Wow, I can't believe how bent some of you are on calling Perry Farrell and/or Jane's Addiction gay. First of all, I don't see how it MATTERS in the first place what a band member's sexuality is. It doesn't affect the music, or the things Jane's Addiction did for music itself. Perry Farrell is in fact NOT gay, he's married, and has two kids. He's very flamboyant and is comfortable with his sexuality. And he actually takes pleasure in presenting an androgynous image, and freaking people out. He's always been that way. So you can call him gay as much as you want, but you're just giving him the reaction he's going for realistically. And frankly, for all the people who said Jane's sucked, remember that your beloved NIN are actually fans of this band, and for a good reason. Some people in music history hail Jane's Addiction as the godfathers of alternative music. They helped pave the way for a lot of bands in the 1980's. It's cool if you don't enjoy their music but to bash it simply because YOU DON'T GET IT is just plain ignorant in itself, especially if it's mainly because you think Perry Farrell is "gay". Let's see you get up there, and try and hold a candle to that performance. Seriously.

I cant really say much more than what atleast 9+pages of fans have already of this show at the Molson Amp. This is my 4th Nine Inch Nails (3rd with the GF) and I have to say I was not disappointed such as the other times. We took over 50+ photos of SSSC(total surprise of a powerful energy act) and as well as NIN. Amazing to hear Trent put so much into a number of the Fragile songs now being in a totally different world with himself drugs/ppl/lifestyle wise and overall has not missed a step well expect when he fell over the cords.

Next show is on 6.10 and if some of you Ontario residents make it down, see you there.

hey Nosferatu_
what a small world.
i was one of the person that called your phone to offer you tickets but your girlfriend (i believe) told me you already found some

i dont think she understood me so good, my french accent i assume.
we drove about 1600 km and about 17 hours from new brunswick to see Nine inch nails and already had tickets but we won some from eric avery from JA so we had extra

so ya i ended up selling the pit tickets i had for 100$ to some random dude and we hung out in the 202 front row instead since my fiancee isn't that tall (i'm 6"3) and she would've been destroyed in the pit.

i was bummed of not being in the pit myself but she enjoyed herself much better down in the 202.

but seriously dude, i know exactly what you mean about Jane's Addiction, i couldn't stand much more than 1 song myself and i told my fiancee it was time to get the fuck out before i punch someone.
thanks for saying what im thinking, it seems i was a lil bit more reluctant than you to give them shit

couldnt understand anything he said and he was teh uber gay.

rock on man, good videos

Thanks dude, and sorry about the tickets man. I should of taken that add off when I found some. confused smiley

And I'm glad to know someone gets what I'm talking about with the whole Janes set.smileys with beer

I guess you get the same feeling when you see NIN videos of the Selfdestruct Tour (closure) or the Wish video, or even Beside you in Time (eyeliner anyone?).
I was there and Jane's sounded really good, no complaints at all. The sound was amazing for the 3 bands. Now, if you're just looking for an excuse to diss Jane's, that's another story.

I'm not looking for an excuse to "Diss" Janes, I don't need one, they speak/spoke for them selves that night. I'm just telling my experience from the show and how I felt about it, I didn't mean to offend anyone, and if anyone did get offended then I iz sorry. And I don't get the same feeling about seeing old NIN videos and shows. Yes, Trent wore some... very weird things. But at least he doesn't prance around the stage like fucking Rupaul, shaking moroccas that you can't even hear, and drinking wine like Jesus, lawlz. And what's wrong with the guyliner? A lot of bands in the 80's wore it but it didn't mean they were prancing around on stage like they were part of a drag show.

So red wine is only for Jesus??

Incredible show. It was definitely worth the trip from Halifax to Toronto. Even the fiancée was blown away. Worth every penny and then some! I'm just extremely disappointed that I missed out on the meet and greet. When I went to donate, they had stopped...Lesson learned: Do not sit with thumb up ass!

Question: Does anyone know if Front Row Center (www.frcphotos.com) is offering any professional shots of the tour? I see that they have a couple of JA shows from the tour, but none for NIN as of yet.

I was lucky then. There were 2 guys next to me smoking a cigarette (before SSSC) and security came and asked them to put it out. When SSSC started I lit my joint and had no problem. I smoked during NIN and Jane's Addiction too, but nothing happened.

After reading all the other comments about security, I dare say I was lucky.

I guess you were busy with your weed since you didn't show up in time buying my pre-sale ticket (face value) as you'd promised to. I guess it's not up to me to judge whether it was a correlation between the two.

If anyone has footage of the NIN set from Toronto and is interested in contributing it towards a multi-camera DVD of the Toronto show please contact myself or Jeepee2. We are compiling video and we will be putting a DVD of the show together once we've acquired all the viz. So far we've got some really great stuff from the seats, crazy angles from the pit but we're looking for as many angles as we can get (especially at least one side-stage angle) so if you feel like being part of a great fan made DVD of a show you went to then please contact one of us.

Cheers,
rival
