DITTO. I'm pretty annoyed, because it's the only shirt I bought ($35 was all the money I had to my name...but I couldn't possibly leave without buying a t-shirt), and only found out the next day when I was looking for the date on the back...*sighs* I'm considering being obnoxious and taping on a long strip of paper with the date on the back (: But yeah...major bummer.

Hi All-

As kind of a lurker, I don't post much, but have been a fellow fan for a while. First on the good ol' Spiral and then here, NIN.com. When I've needed help or answers or more recently to sell a ticket, you guys have come through. And someone did it again Wednesday night, when my daughter lost her cellphone in one of the Comcast bathrooms!

She didn't realize it until she got back to the pit and, well quite honestly, I wasn't leaving my prime spot for a stinkin' phone!

After JA was done we checked the bathroom and security but no luck. Called Verizon on the way home to Albany to disable it and planned on having to replace it.

But, no need, because the next day her dad got a call from the person who found it! This guy was ready to drive to us to return it, until he found out we live in NYS- can't blame him there. So he took it to the post office and boxed it and mailed it to us.

Now, I don't know if he's a fellow member but on the chance that he is, or that he has a friend on here, I would like to give a MAJOR SHOUT-OUT to

ADAM G. FROM TAUNTON (or thereabouts)

for being a stand-up, awesome guy!! Katy will call you when she's back from her prom and post-prom trip.

As for all the other great people I have met online, in line(s), in McDonald's bathrooms near venues, hotel elevators, etc., thank you for being part of my NIN experience. It would not have been the same.

Now, if I could just remember how to post pictures...

THANKS AGAIN ADAM

Michele

Dudes stop worrying so much about the T-shirts LOL!! Just hit ebay or band t's .com. My Lits T-shirt didnt have the DCU center date on it and I got it off ebay but it is very good quality. I'll be getting my Wave goodbye shirt off ebay eventually. Meant to get one AT the concert but having too much fun to wait in line. Anyway T-shirts will be all over the place.

Anyone else notice that Perry got hit with the "projectile" LOL, after he gave his speech about "contact" he said we ALL need contact to feel human..some people just like to punch someone in the face just to feel human contact??? He is a great performer and his voice is still rockin, but his "speaches" were OUT there!! I am really not suprised someone threw something at him, it wasnt cool though. And he did know that we were 50 miles from boston right??

Dave Navarro fckn' ROCKED, that dude can PLAY a guitar, WOW!! Robin was also on his A game, he was INTENSE!! NIN was AMAZING....I REALLY want to see another NIN show damit!

Indeed I was. I was the tall guy with glasses and a large green bag around my shoulders, in case my face somehow managed to rise out of the muck. I'd have had a friend in a wheelchair with me but he couldn't make it in time. Booooooooo.

It just takes awhile sometimes. My buddy shot the whole thing w/ a high def cam and will get the footage out over time. Hell, I taped NIN's show in Raleigh nine years ago and I still haven't taken the time to edit it and put it out. smiling smiley

Someone commented on You Tube that they wanted to see my video of "La Mer" & "The Fragile" when I confronted some noisy jerks behind me. I'm not sure if it was someone from the forums or not, but just in case- here it is. It's not great quality, and it's all annotated up, but whatever. smiling smiley

really we were better? that makes me feel better, because I had to decide between MA and Jones Beach, but when I saw the JB setlist I was waaaaay jealous and regretting my decision.

06/09/09 4:59 PM

The Mansfield setlist was killer! "Home" for the opener...that guitar note solo at the beginning....sick! "Burn" was amazing! "Metal" sounded awesome live! I listned to Things Falling apart alot over the winter and metal is probably my favorite song on that album.. "WISH" sounded REALLY heavy this time, I have heard it live several times before but this time trent killed it! Fckn awesome! "The Becoming" WOW! The synched lights made it even better! AND! That had to be the best live performance of "Hurt" I have ever heard-although the 1994 Boston Garden Show was pretty impressive too a bit more haunting. This time it was more emotional-as the encore.

The band had a TON of energy. During "Head Like a Hole" and the "Hand that Feeds" the Bass and drums were so loud it felt like someone hitting my chest at times, they definately cranked it up before the encore. Sitting in front Row of seats from the pit was incredible!! One word......WOW!!!! The speach during La Mer was a memorable momnent. Not too many dry eyes I bet for that one.
NIN-My Favorite band!! I have heard Heresy and Mr Self Destruct Live before but I was a bit suprised they didnt play either at mansfield....but I definately got my moneys worth! WOW!

Hey I just got back today. I went to the Mansfield, Camden, Holmdel and Jones beach shows and it was an experience I will never forget. I took my 12 year old son to the mansfield show because he has been listening since he was born and he had such a big smile on his face the whole time it was awesome. His first concert im glad was NIN because back in 1995 NIN was my first ever big concert I went to so it was nice to share that with him. We even sat next to a really cool guy who I wish I got more of his information, he seemed liked somebody I would have really liked to get to know better..(sigh)...but Trent thank you for being such an important part of my life for all these years, i hope one day i can tell you that in person, but after everything you have been through i am glad you are happy and i always wish you the best. Take care and i will miss you dearly, and always and again Thank you, for just being you...love Sin

First off...

Obviously a bad ass show with a sick ass set list for our beloved NIN. I feel compelled to talk about the disapointing character of all you NIN fans though. The tailgating partying all day crowd at this concert was pitiful. Me and my crew got there at 2pm broke out the booze, grill, and copious amounts of marijuana to proceed to party the right way before a concert at great woods. Sadly the crowd of tailgaters was smaller than I had seen in any of the dozens of shows I have attended at our venue. Its a pretty sorry state of affairs when old bands like Tom Petty attract a more out going crowd than Nine mother Fucking Inch Nails. Whats worse is that most of the people I met partying in the lot pre gaming before the show were Janes Addiction fans. I personally blame the under 20 crowd, I think there must be something in the water thats prevented your generations balls to drop.

Alcholic prick? Maybe we can party all day at the right pace like real men, and not be pansies that have like 4 beers before a ROCK CONCERT and think that they are partying. Theres lots of rock phonies out there that act like they are in the music scene but could be like part time sunday school teachers.

Seriously I reiterate my previous comment but I extend it to other people besides the kids under 20.

Is there something in the water thats keeping your balls from dropping?

Well, my husband and I were VERY looking forward to partying but when the car two lanes across was raided because "One only goes to the front seat to roll a joint or chop a line" (Says the cop...seriously), we kept it on the down low... like super low. It came down to the fact that I'd rather see the show than get arrested, which you're right, is sad. Ive been there for other more low key type bands too, but the fuzz presence wasn't as strong then. I think we fans were stereotyped for being hard or violent or whatever.

Does anyone have that demonoid torrent downloaded and would love to send to me? I don't have an account there sad smiley

06/10/09 12:18 AM

leelee829 I am sorry that really sucks, and in my opinion its not fair. it sounds by what you wrote that your familiar with partying at concerts (especially here) there were more cops this year, but me and my people didnt get f'ed with by them, we were shotgunning beers and taking bong rips the whole time too.

Its definately true that comcast has stepped their security up in the parking lot since they bought what was once great woods from tweeter, but... IF people continue the tradition there of partying in the lot before shows, comcast like its predecessors will decide that its more cost effective to live and let live in the lot than opposed to whats been happening there lately with the increased security.

Hi everyone! Though I've been a long-time fan, this is my first post on the forums here, so... hello. smiling smiley Not much left for me to say about last Wednesday after reading everyone else's comments, but goddamn, what a perfect show!

I borrowed a handheld stereo digital audio recorder from a friend, and recorded the entire show! (I was in section 5, row N.) I'd never recorded any audio before, and had no idea what the output quality of the device would be like... but holy crap was I surprised when I transferred it onto my computer! It sounds great! I downloaded Audacity and taught myself how to use it on the fly; managed to simply cut up the big file into separate tracks. I think it came out pretty good for a first go at this kind of thing. tongue sticking out smiley

But enough of my yappin'! Here's the torrent!
Audio from 6/3/09 Show, Mansfield, MA

Sorry it took so long for me to get this out to everyone, life is distracting. eye rolling smiley Aaand it looks like my friend zavlin (whom I shared my tracks with yesterday) beat me to the punch with uploading to Demonoid, haha... You're a sharp one, kevout. winking smiley Also, I realize 128kb/s isn't ideal... but I couldn't figure out how to do it otherwise. If anyone out there with more audio editing experience than I have wants to have a go at the original raw file, PM me.

Enjoy everyone!!
