I seriously hope Trent's "Put that down motherfucker" before Discipline, was reffering to what I think it was
Also, I realize 128kb/s isn't ideal... but I couldn't figure out how to do it otherwise. If anyone out there with more audio editing experience than I have wants to have a go at the original raw file, PM me.
Check your inbox, friend! This should be an easy thing to fix; looking forward to helping out.

Well, my husband and I were VERY looking forward to partying but when the car two lanes across was raided because "One only goes to the front seat to roll a joint or chop a line" (Says the cop...seriously), we kept it on the down low... like super low. It came down to the fact that I'd rather see the show than get arrested, which you're right, is sad. Ive been there for other more low key type bands too, but the fuzz presence wasn't as strong then. I think we fans were stereotyped for being hard or violent or whatever.
Yeah I noticed cops raiding cars as we were walking in. Glad I was not involved.

Hi everyone! Though I've been a long-time fan, this is my first post on the forums here, so... hello. Not much left for me to say about last Wednesday after reading everyone else's comments, but goddamn, what a perfect show!
I borrowed a handheld stereo digital audio recorder from a friend, and recorded the entire show! (I was in section 5, row N.) I'd never recorded any audio before, and had no idea what the output quality of the device would be like... but holy crap was I surprised when I transferred it onto my computer! It sounds great! I downloaded Audacity and taught myself how to use it on the fly; managed to simply cut up the big file into separate tracks. I think it came out pretty good for a first go at this kind of thing.
Sorry it took so long for me to get this out to everyone, life is distracting. Aaand it looks like my friend zavlin (whom I shared my tracks with yesterday) beat me to the punch with uploading to Demonoid, haha... You're a sharp one, kevout. Also, I realize 128kb/s isn't ideal... but I couldn't figure out how to do it otherwise. Alcholic prick? Maybe we can party all day at the right pace like real men, and not be pansies that have like 4 beers before a ROCK CONCERT and think that they are partying. Theres lots of rock phonies out there that act like they are in the music scene but could be like part time sunday school teachers.
Seriously I reiterate my previous comment but I extend it to other people besides the kids under 20.
Is there something in the water thats keeping your balls from dropping?
Why does a "rock concert" necessitate drunkenness? I know how to party, but why the fuck do people like you think you can't have a good time at a show unless you're cocked? Sometimes, its those people that ruin it for everyone else. I'm there to hear the band and enjoy it on my terms...not to listen to some random drunk schmucks scream the wrong lyrics loudly and slosh beer everywhere. Not to mention the added bonus of being obnoxious during amazing things like Trent's pre-"La Mer" speech. Just my two-fucking cents.
Edit:because I was half asleep at post time & used the wrong "cents/sense" lol

EXACTLY!! Why would I pay all that money to get hammered and not remember the show? I don't mind having a few beers, but getting wasted at a show is not my scene. Never has been and never will be. I want to remember the gig.
Good people I will have you know that when I am sloshing beer all over myself and the people I am with I always sing the CORRECT lyrics at an audible level that I cannot hear so that I and the people I roll in with only hear the band we came to see and hear.
You can also party all day, and not black out. Learn to drink.
Sad to say this as a hard core NiN fan coming off his 9th NiN concert, but after seeing Tool just 3 times I'm ready to say that the Tool crowd is much more of a bad ass fan base than NiN.

Sad to say this, but anyone who gives a rat's ass how "badass" a band's fanbase is...ah, forget it. All I can say is that I'm embarrassed for every post you've made here - you just come off sounding like a raging alcoholic whose only priority is "learning to drink". And if you sloshed your shitty $9 Bud Light all over me after I paid the prices I did for tickets, I'd be wishing that another "badass" fan would take that plastic cup and shove it down your throat.
And for what it's worth...I love Tool, but every other fan I know is pretty much a low-life pothead who works a minimum wage job just to afford his weed and either lives with his parents or couch surfs. If that's your idea of badass...I feel sorry for you.

Heh heh. I don't mind yall labeling me as an alcholic or inferring that I'm immature. Also havent lived with my 'rents since I was 18. To stay on point though, last time I saw NiN before this was the November show, had floor tickets like that. First a good point, the ladies all around us were cool, liked to party, and were easy on the eyes. Now back to my unpopular rant. Its a rock concert; there should be an element of mischief and mayhem in the fans. I go to pass a joint to some dude who looked like he could have been Harry Potters long lost brother, and he looks at the joint fearfully than looks at me like I have two heads for offering it to him. Kids today... That happened like 7 more times eventually me and my crew ended up smoking the 6 or 7 phatties we rolled to our faces.
Real quick if yall think these posts are annoying after you see my screen name dont read it, Im sick of reading the same type of posts that are all about what status your tickets were, where you sat, ect. But other people who were at the show agreed with me. As I said before I blame to some extent Comcast, cause straight up this isnt the Great Woods I grew up with.

Honestly, stick to Tool shows then. You're "kind" infest their shows, that's why I don't even bother seeing them live again.
You guys need to take this to the shitlist, or shut the fuck up and start posting about how fucking amazing this show was.

Let us know when you turn 20...by the way, who bought your beer for you?
Stamped to enter the "meet & greet" and waiting in line with celerityfm, evilkitty10, RobinTMP, Cthules, and others. Awesome people! Wonderful fun being around them, even with the drizzle and long waiting/walking.
The actual "meet & greet" photo!
Tom Morello & Street Sweeper Social Club; Trent Reznor & Robin Finck, NIN
Artier shots of Reznor and Finck.
A bad fuzzy shot of Dave Navarro (& friend) and a surprisingly clear one of Perry Farrell, Jane's Addiction.
So glad I got there in time to see Street Sweeper. They rocked. Had I known I would be standing for both NIN & JA (This was my first concert ever.) I would have stood for them just to show some respect. I feel like a bastard for sitting with the rest of the crowd (higher up in the seats).
If you missed them you really missed out.
Very glad I stuck around for JA. Almost left, but put faith in Trent's choice of a touring partner. They completely kicked ass.
And NIN... What can I say? I will never be the same. Can't believe they opened with Home and Somewhat Damaged. I keep watching the Video on youtube. Trent wandering out... I wish I could live that night over again and again.
I told my brother before they came on stage "Trent is about to kick our ass!", and did he!
I will not degrade the show anymore with my words. You guys were there, you know what mean.
Thanks for the download Jaided. This captures my last NIN show perfectly (sniff).

Jaidedwings - I just wanted to thank you once again for sharing this recording. I listened to the whole set driving to work and back yesterday. For an "amateur" recording it more than serves the purpose for letting us re-live the Mansfield show. This will be on my favorites list for a long time to come.
did anyone else notice right before NIN's set they played West Indian Girl (his fiancee Mariqueen's band) I thought it was so cute, I wonder if he does that at all his shows
