great fucking show. 8th show for me and it was great to hear some old shit I've always wanted to hear live.

setlist:

home
somewhat damaged
terrible lie
discipline
march of the pigs
the frail
metal
I'm afraid of americans
the becoming
burn
gave up
the fragile
I do not want this
the downward spiral
wish
survivalism
echoplex
the hand that feeds
head like a hole
hurt

great set. wish NIN would tour at least one more time before calling it quits. It didn't feel like a real goodbye since they weren't headlining. Jane's was great though.

I dont know about any of you but i really didnt enjoy JA. I cant believe all the people that were there to see them, almost as if they were 'THE BAND' to see.

Farewell Trent. You played an amazing performance tonight. Pittsburgh will miss you.

I completely agree. We actually left during JA performance. Trent's performance was fabulous and I will miss him. The performance of the dancing naked man in front of me, not so much.

It's totally unbelievable that people might have different tastes in music, I agree. The sheer gall of those fuckers.

I attended this show, and i believe it is an understatement to say it is the best concert/show i have ever been too. I was in a total state of awe after the show. After the show it really hit me that that was the last time i would ever get to experience what i had just been through, I was one of the sadest things i've ever realized. Thanks Trent for over all the years, making brilliant music and and even greater live performances. NIN you will be greatly missed.

Wow, first of all, you are a really good photographer, or you have a really great camera. secondly, you got so many pictures that almost have me in them! You have Trent talking to me (you can see my hair) you've got Robin talking to me at the M&G (you can't see me in any of those pictures) you've also got JMJ showing me his footwear from stage when I complimented his awesome hot pink laces, and you've got Robin showing me his pedalboard - way clearer picture than mine, btw. I haven't looked through the rest of your albums yet, but do you mind if I upload some of your pics to my flickr and facebook? I will give you full credit of course, but you managed to capture my experience better than I did on multiple occasions and I'd appreciate it if I could show those pics off.

FYI, I don't have every song.

I know I'm missing at least these songs:
-Gave Up
-Survivalism
-Echoplex
-Hurt

Brought two cameras but recording in HD does take up quite a bit of space so I knew I couldn't record everything. So I picked some songs I personally didn't like as much as the others to not record. Sorry if you were really looking forward to one of those.

And for those asking for the actual files, we'll deal with that once I get done with whatever else I want to upload to YouTube. Each file is roughly 500mb. I'll do what I can to get those online.

I wasn't really on planning to add Burgettstown PA to my tour belt notch because of obvious reasons. One it's a amphitheatre type setting (don't care for the great outdoor venue style & and I tend to lose track of where I park, and the weather) and typically amphitheatres are usually smackdab in the middle of where the fuck iz I territory. So after driving to PennsiWVOhiotucky I drove up after waiting for the parking lot to open at 5pm. I parked and walked around waited in line heard NIN & SSSC warm up which was cool...b/c that the reason why I added this date to my iternary the whole Vegas mishap of SSSC not being on the bill @ the Palms and canceling their show @Wasted Space put me in a sour mood. So fast-forward to 6/10/09. All I have to say is Street Sweeper Social Club aint a band they a Social Club they rocked my eyes off.
Then the opening act came on and they were playing their asses off, seriously, usually opening bands suck hot buttered balls. I think I burned like 20 calories bust a move to this band. I'm happy to hear a repeat of the songs played in Vegas personally its always a treat to hear Somewhat Damaged. Words can not express how happy not to hear closer yea I would of bumrushed the stage and gave trent my blk amex if he didnt perform hurt, but I'm just telling how I feel dont kill the first amendment.
Didn't do presale or pit for this show good thing I didnt I was not in the mood to be crushed by sweaty folks in those humid conditions since my head was acting up hence I was wearing sunglasses throughout nin's set. I like how trent was this song is better performed in the dark so just imagine that its night time or something along those lines, to me it is dark mofo I'm wearing shades smiling smiley I noticed that JMJ was groovin a bit more and Robin kept turning around for the people behind him that were a thoughtful gesture!
Those lights are fueled by some radioactive electrode for reals, I almost tweeked out man. Excellent seats from livenation site section 2 row H seat 23 couldnt complain. There was a middle-aged dude setting in front of me from Akron he was cool chatting it up wishing that nin will do a secret ultra relaxed stripped down show in cleveland. Two dudes on the right of me that were there for Janes they were almost I think they were from NY they were awesome. Overall great SHOW (JA, NIN, SSSC) glad I battled the crazyass turns of PennsiWVOhiotucky in the fog, I swear I thought I saw my life flash before my eyes a time or two driving back home.
Therefore, I wave good-bye to the best opening act ever!
Hope that trent when he get recharged create more ghosts like material perform solely that material live and even have performance dancers for some of the shows and collaborate with DEP and ISIS in the near future

This show was by far my favorite concert, and at my ripe age of 17, I've been to at least 20, maybe 30. Fuckin' great show. I was in lawn, because it was all I could afford...but that didn't matter. Still doesn't. I'm just glad I FINALLY got to see my favorite band live. The only thing that kinda hurts, and made this concert more...bittersweet, for lack of a word was the fact that this was my first NIN concert. My first and my last NIN concert, all in one show. Kinda sad, if one thinks about it. HANYWAY...I went with my (44 year old) father, as his ticket was his Father's Day gift from me. He adores NIN smiling smiley

Because I was in lawn, I dealt with the Idiot Brothers moshing and being fools (and eventually throwing up)...BUT WE ENDED UP GETTING A FREE UPGRADE TO SEATS BECAUSE OF IT, WTF?! So awesome. That alone almost renewed my faith in livenation.

Almost.

All in all, great fucking show.

Pittsburgh’s show was an excellent way to end! We didn’t want to end in seats and it couldn’t have been a better decision, even though New York‘s show was awesome. I wish we would have been able to make it to North Carolina, but Pittsburgh was pushing it. No regrets though. Right from the moment that we went and checked out the venue the night before the security was extremely friendly and helpful. We even got to drive the rental car around the venue and on the lawn seating, which I thought was weird yet fun at the same time. When we got there the next morning we met some extremely friendly people, who entertained each other the entire time. There practically wasn’t a boring moment, from the coloring to the conspiring (Hopefully, you got the picture you wanted! Heaven knows they tried hard and brought amusement in the process. Plus, we did get a wave so that was cool!) My favorite part of the line was learning that APPARENTLY there are two black bears in the area, as well as, a tick infestation. I’m SO glad that the security person told us that AFTER we had camped out on the pavement since 2am, with our buffet of food,…yeah I think the whole line was wondering if they had a tick somewhere…but were thankful that the bears appear to have been well feed that night.

Finally, getting into the venue, we couldn’t have ended up with a better spot on the rail, right in front of Trent. It was a perfect spot to be and I was amazed at just how nice security was at this venue. They went out of their way to make sure everyone was doing fine and that they had what they needed. Very impressed with them and thought that they had to be one of the best group of security that we have encountered this tour, for truly caring about the people that they are supposed to be protecting. As far as the show went, Trent and Co. gave a GREAT performance. Right from the start it felt like they came out on fire and were determined to give it their all. “Somewhat Damaged,” “Terrible Lie,” and one of my new favorites “The Becoming” made the set list and I couldn’t have been happier. Sure there were songs that I would have liked to hear again, but I don’t know which songs I would have switched out for them. I enjoyed every song that was played!! I would have liked “I’m Afraid of Americans,” to have been uninterrupted, but I still managed to enjoy the front of it, even if I did completely miss the ending. It wasn’t until “The Hand that Feeds” that it hit me that this might be the last time I see NIN for awhile and I do have to admit that of all the songs to have a hard time in it was “Head Like a Hole.” Thankfully, a number of surfers decided to distract me and didn’t let me become too depressed, after all it should have been a fun song (and it was)! “Hurt” was a killer though…lets just say I really wasn’t in the mood to watch Jane’s Addiction, but somehow they have a way of forcing you to have a good time. After a couple of songs into their set, where I was dwelling on not having taken out a loan to see NIN in North Carolina, I couldn’t help but smile as Perry made it a point to make everyone in the crowd laugh at his antics. At least I’m pretty sure that was what he was going for and it worked! I felt much better when the middle of their set rolled around. Still wish I had the funds to see Trent and Co overseas, but I will just have to keep faith in that Trent will come around again and that this isn’t really the end of NIN live. If it is, it was a FANTASTIC way to end. Couldn’t have asked for more. Eleven shows and tons of new friends, plus we got to participate in the donations for Eric. I will miss not having something to look forward to, but I hope that Trent keeps us up to date on the things that he is doing and doesn’t continue to let a small margin of his fans ruin it for the majority. I’m sure everyone loves to see his personality shine through and it would be a shame to lose the interaction that he seemed to have enjoyed for so long. We wish him the best and look forward to see what he gets up to after he is done touring Europe/Overseas. THANKS for everything Trent and Co. It was a real pleasure being able to be a part of the Wave Goodbye tour!!! Hopefully we will get to see you again SOON!!!

Ok I'm lazy so I'm just going to copy everything I said on ETS:

I got to the venue at 1:30 AM after her and then the twins showed up and we all hung out before taking naps. Luckily I brought the meathead fun book and a pillow case that I "borrowed" from the motel and we decorated them. So here is Kayley and me brainstorming on what to put on the pillow case and then we saw his depressing tweet and was like "ok let's put 'stay positive' and hope he doesn't get mad at us"
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e105/she_shines92/CIMG2528.jpg
HAHA! So luckily he liked it, which really made this concert special for me. grinning smiley I bothered Rob and we showed him the pic we colored and he laughed! He then said he'd give them to the band, which later that night he uploaded the 'zombie rob' pic to twitter. I do have on video of Trent pointing to me at the end of the band introductions: [www.facebook.com] If it doesn't work, it will be on youtube soon!

I always have a great time with fans before the show and it was great to have such a awesome crowd surrounding me. Except for the dipshits who were yelling at TR during 'Hurt'. But I'd like to thank the chick who was behind me who took a blow to the head (trying to protect me) by a crowdsurfer, she didn't have to do that. I LOVED hanging with Killaya and "the twins" and it was great meeting Moebius, Erin, the nice people from Rhode Island, and everyone else in the presale line pretty much rocked. Especially our shenanigans on the hill during the meet and greet. haha winking smiley

This was my 7th NIN show and it was the best way possible to end my last show. I've NEVER gotten this emotional at a concert before. I started sobbing during 'The Fragile' because that song has so much meaning to me. I then again cried though part of 'THTF', 'HLAH', and sobbed again during 'Hurt', knowing that was the last song. I didn't record as much I as I normally do, but I will have the videos up on here by sunday: [www.youtube.com]

So I left the rail after NIN looking for Killaya, her brother, and her boyfriend and we met up and signed the pillow case. They left right when JA started and I went back into the pit alone. During 'Been Caught Stealing' I noticed Perry's wife was dancing in front of me. Cool haha. Then Leo walked by taking pics with his iPhone. I ended up leaving the pit during 'Ted... Just Admit It' (my favorite song) because I was just so dehydrated. So I didn't get to meet S_phoenix, which was a bummer, but I was seriously lightheaded. So I met up with my mom and we bought some more merch and left during 'Jane Says' and beat the traffic back to our motel in Pittsburgh. Then we left the next day, checked out Mercer, and drove 12 hours back to Chicago and got home at 2 AM Thursday morning.

I wish I could thank the kind security guard who kept on giving us water and letting us hold our sign! He was really looking out for us. And I know he won't probably see this, but thank you Trent for the amazing shows this tour, I'm grateful I got to go to 3 in '09 (7 total) and meet you, Justin, and Ilan in Noblesville. It's been an incredible experience. grinning smiley
