Best I've ever seen them play, setlist was awesome, famous ones, not so famous ones, covers, loud ones, quiet ones, it had everything!!! Highlights would have to be Metal and The Way Out Is Through, so good!!!!! I'm gonna miss doing this

Well that just rocked.
Typing now because the aching in my arm from being trapped in an odd position all night in the pit is telling me that by the morning it will be out of action... High points: I'm Afraid of Americans Burn Piggy Wish The Hand That Feeds Head Like a Hole Shame about the soundcheck (perhaps that was where the Slip/other YZ songs would have made an appearance?), but meeting the guys/the production tour were more than worth it. The show was tinged with sadness that there may not be a next time, but after having all but given up on the hope of ever seeing NIN live only a few years ago, to have been able to see them a few times now has been very special. My first ever proper gig in a large venue let alone NIN gig... and was completely blown away.
Have been a massive NIN fan for years and only just had the opportunity to go to a gig and was even more impressed, shame that it's drawing to a close. Took along a friend who wasn't familiar with NIN and even she commented on how tight a performance they did. Definitely a moment to remember. | |
