smiling smileyTo one beautiful lady in Singapore, I would like to say Thank You Very Very Much.

I was very surprised & very very happy there.
Cuz, She gave me a spot of 1st row, after she knew I was from Tokyo.

I was really touched.

Thank you again.
I enjoyed very much.

I really hope you going well.

I am officially out of Singapore now sad smiley Last one of our group out (with the exception of Shaz, Lilly, and Mike who live there).

Thank you sooo much everyone! I had such an amazing time. Shaz! Thanks for taking me out around Singapore throughout the week! I had a great time with you, Lilly, GC, Diana, and Candace! You and your friends were the BEST!

On a funny note.... I am in London right now in the middle of a 5 hour layover.
I was reading this thread and smiling/laughing.... not paying attention that all the TVs here are showing a story right now about the Taliban. I look up from my laptop and everyone is staring at me because I was laughing and smiling.
Whoops!

Hope those of you who went to Taipei had a good time!! Cant wait to see the pics of the city and the place where the concert was going to be.

Miss ya all! <3

Rar, off to work on Monday!

Ha ha ...I beat you. I am typing this from Singapore Changi Airport. On my way back from Taipei, with a 16hr stop-over here so I'm still not officially out of Singapore. Heading to Perth than Melbourne. I'm wishing I forked over the extra $ to just go direct to Melbourne. 4 airports in 2.5 days is a bit much.

I like those !
I have great film of your second pic. Justin was so hard to film from backstage because of his position. I felt back because I have the least footage of him. Every time he stepped away from his area, I was excited. That pic above is one of about 6 times during the concert that I actually got a good shot of him!

And yes, Robin is awesome. He was my fav (Justin now holds the number one spot after the Meet/Greet).

Nice pics! Thanks for sharing! Were you rail spot? Any more pics?

What you are back in Singy! Sheeesh Missy, lots of traveling in the span of about one week grinning smiley you must be tired! How was Taipei? Did you go to where the concert was gonna be?

I was reading what Sophie wrote about how she was feeling as the stage boxes were being packed up (when we were all watching after the concert) and how she left a piece of herself there (as I think we all did). After I read that, I watched the clip i filmed of you and Sophie at the rail with the stage being put away in the background. It was a very somber feel. Crazy, you gotta see it when I get back to Ohio and upload it.

I am so happy we have all these memories to share with each other.
I miss you!! sad smiley

Have you seen Rob's stuff? I have the best footage of Rob backstage singing as he is taking pics during the concert. I was cool to see that (because obviously you cant see the look on your own face).

(and ugh, I have to clarify that i dont mean that Rob Sheridan guy. everytime i post something about "Rob" i get a silly email asking about Rob Sheridan. When I type Rob, I mean our Rob. Not the photographer/artistic director guy.

Edit: and you know what, our Rob gives that Rob a run for the money, because our Rob has some amazing pics up on his Facebook account already. I was looking at them with Mel and Stu at their hotel a few days ago. Stu was like, "I have to go back and save every single one of those!"

Nice shots, FreeFallin and jerometurner! Great for camera phones. What phones do you guys use? Even my supposedly ten megapixel camera sucks. Fujifilm can kiss my ass.
Ah I really want a shirt now! Just thought it was a clear rip-off and I didn't have enough money at hand anyway. Damn. Think I'll just go and make myself one. But I did manage to scream at the bouncer to give me Ilan's drumstick. Heh.

Any idea where I can still get the shirt? Ah iPhone. That's the great thing about it. Yeeaaah Ilan Rubin the badass drummer. Target! Forty bucks. Meh. Haha. But I keep thinking about the shirt now...

BTW, a quick question, is it really JMJ on the talkbass.com forum answering all our questions? I know he's told the nin members before he hosts a forum there but he replies really often...

08/17/09 1:12 AM

Great vids A.

Had an awesome time. No way you can get two or three deep from front in and out of a crowd easily in Melbourne without sustaining a concussion. We hung back most of the time with Aaron who was filming at the mixing desk and enjoyed Jason the LDs 'show' just as much. Got to shake Rob (photogs) hand - albeit begrudgingly... whatever.. he's too cool for school now I think. Had drinks with the crew later that night.

I'm pretty sure it is him. . I've been lurking around on and off there. . finally decided to post.

breenminxy - I agree about the crowd, I was astounded by how easy it was to get to the front. I was pretty happy about that, because with the M&G lining up would have been pointless.

Is there anywhere we can buy this online? We went to merch stand before the show and all they had left was ladies small. Very P.O'ed.

Have you tried eBay?

yeah, nothing much there in ladies fit.

Really? How was Rob being reluctant? :-( Met the stage manager Cliff too, the crew are all pretty friendly lads eh?

It would have been rad to meet more of the crew. But Ross, Jerome and JT were all super nice guys! grinning smiley
