I'm kind of standoff-ish. But if you talk to me for a while, I warm up.

The people that man the first aid are EMT's, but they can only practice as first responders at Aragon(basically, they can't do crap). AND, there is NO automatic defibrillator in the venue. That is basically gross negligence. So, keep that in mind those who go to the Aragon...

Actually, at this time no place is REQUIRED to have an AED. I think they are only required to have a basic first aid kit with face masks for CPR.
And if they started working on you, they would have to bust out the full EMT knowledge, as required by law that you have to work up to your level of knowledge (if you are a professional, not a pedestrian) if you have started giving care. Fot example, if you require an IV, there is one avaiable, they are trained and they are currently working on your problem, they have to give it to you.

That is all true...I still think it's gross negligence to not have an AED at a concert venue (especially one that limits access to water). The problem with them not being able to work as EMT's is that they don't have any of that equipment there to bust out. At least I didn't see any and when I asked what I should do he basically said 'call 911 or stay here'. Mostly, I just wanted people to realize that if something goes bad for them they will be waiting for an ambulance before they get any type of meaningful care (aside from CPR and possibly oxygen).

I think everyone has pretty much already said all that can be put into words. I too have been to many many concerts and NIN is by far the best live show! I was fortunate enough to see both nights at the Aragon (my 16th NIN show). It was nice to visit that venue again. I moved from Chicago to NC 12 years ago and don't get back too often. This was obviously worth the trip! I was completely blown away, and like other people, teared up - more than once. We caught NIN/JA in Charlotte and I was really hoping that wasn't it.

I would also like to thank all those around me that felt the need to be my personal bodyguards. I was the pregnant chick back in front of the sound board both nights. Friday it was calm back there, but I couldn't see a thing (I'm only 5 feet tall). Not that I'm complaining, I could hear - and that's what really matters. But Saturday night the pits opened up right in front of us and not only did I have wonderful people keeping the bodies at bay, the opening in the floor allowed little me to see pretty much the whole stage most of the night! It was awesome. I kind of missed getting shoved around a little and moving with the crowd, but had to stay somewhere sorta safe w/ a little one on board. But there was no way I was gonna miss these shows!

I haven't read through ALL the posts yet, but did anyone else see that sound guy totally rocking out? He was awesome! You know he loves his job!

I'm sad NIN as we know it has come to an end. I have been following NIN since PHM came out, but was a bit young to see them live then. But I did see them 11/94 in Champaign, IL with my boyfriend (now husband). It was such a bonding experience for us and ever since its always been "when we will see them again.." I feel like there is this giant void now. No 'next show' on my calendar. But, Trent sure as hell knows how to go out on a high note!

Thanks to all who have posted some kick ass footage. Hope they decide to put a DVD out!

Thank you NIN for the last 20 years.
Curious for what the future holds.......

I'll tell you a secret - we almost canceled because I woke up sick and unable to talk complete with chills, etc. I spent all day sleeping trying to shake it but still felt terrible walking to the stage... then something happened and by the end I felt great. Weird.

I'm so happy for you here. I've had the chills for awhile. I'm glad you're better now.

That night was just magical, very few words can describe the connection everyone had, the band, the fans. Everyone was so into it. Thank you Nine Inch Nails and crew for making that night one of the best nights of my life. I hope you continue to make a mark in the artistic community. Your live shows have always been your pinnacle and I can not wait to see what's in store in the future.

damn it chicago!!

we broke 60 pages on the upcoming forum, and now after an exciting post show adventure (including getting kicked out of harry carry's) and waking up sick on sunday i finally feeling well enough too look into the forums and we're already at page 14!

FUCKING EXCELLENT GOOD TIME!!!!!!
i was mostly in the moshpit infront of robin, but i moved back and forth to the one more center and farther back both nights, it's best place to see a show when you're 5'4" unless you can get in the first couple rows.....

anyway, i was declared a hero by fellow moshers, thanked often for starting the pit at the center right away during survivalism, told i look like Thom York or shorter, the were basically sold out of merch when i got there, before mew was even done (of course they had all dates, but nothing left for just the aragon) so i'm sticking with my 5-29-09 at the charter one shirt, BUT i did get the door poster disclaimer stating: "this preformance is being recorded, buy entering the venue you are agreeing that your voice or likeness maybe used for future performance" or something likethat, complete with a NIN logo greyscaled in the background -i think there are like 5 originals of that

so i had a BLAST, got pretty sick, feeling better now

catch you later!

Yeah I saw this in the merch thread about a week before the show so I didn't buy one when I was there.

Also I think I stood behind you at the concert, 3rd row on JMJ's side.

Dammit. I got too excited and didn't fully read what I was downloading. It was the Chicago show on 05/29/09 and NOT 08/29/09.

I'll have to be more patient.

It seems weird that there's one for sale on eBay with the CORRECT dates. I haven't seen anything about the shirt being fixed; wonder if the eBay one is a fake?

Glad to have witness one of the last tours of nin. Happy to hear Reptile live w/PM...Hooray Hooray....I dont care what those tired ass whiney bitch @#$%& fuckers said at the show and online 'bout Peter Murphy his voice is like muddafuckin' aquavelvet....PERIOD. And talk about a man that can present himself on stage his middle name should be showman and atmosphere.
Let's see some of you fuckwads get up on stage when you are in your 50's (even if half of you are even still alive with all the alcohol, ciggarettes, gluttony, and drugs)and perform.
Overall good show, where I was situated not many people where into anything probably too high/too drunk to get into the music which is a damn shame.

I'am truely glad that after 20 years that it's Goodbye, eventhough I just recently experienced the music live the cd will constantly be spinning in my car and the memories in my mind. Can't wait for what will happen next, I hope trent will collab w/ DEP, Mike Patton some mellow funky shit would be a change of pace, or ?uestLove.

Dude- That sucks, but it may be worth a mint on Ebay.
I ran upstairs to look at mine (bought at the 8/29/09 Chicago Show) and mine are CORRECT- all my dates are September for the California Shows.

I wonder how the hell if 2 people bought them on the same night- some were printed correct and some were wrong!

*EDIT* This one Listed on Ebay has WRONG Dates too (Enlarge the Picture of the Back)

Also, the red shirt the NIN is off center. It's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

09/02/09 8:54 PM

I got both the tour shirt and the event shirt and my tour shirt has the correct dates as well. However, I bought my merch as soon as I entered the venue so maybe someone who has a tour shirt with incorrect dates got one that was at the bottom of the pile as opposed to the top of the pile.

I think the error occured cause more than likely the shirts were rushed through the printing process to be ready in time for the tour. Same thing happened on the 95 tour with Bowie except the dates were correct but the spelling on a lot of the dates was wrong. It was later said it happened because there was a rush on the order.

But NIN Historian is probably right. More than likely the shirts with the incorrect date will be worth some serious money at some point so congrats if you've got one.

09/02/09 9:13 PM

yeah, i'll be hanging on to this shirt.

i picked it up fairly early on friday. first thing we did when we got into the Aragon was hit the merch table. It wasn't even 7pm by the time we hit merch, went to piss and then found a spot upstairs before Mew. weird.

Damn I just realized my tour shirt has the wrong dates too! and I got min as soon as I got in and I was one of the first 30 or 40 to get in. I have no complaints though. Had the time of my life. Hope I can get one with the right dates! I have no problem paying for both but itd been nice if the people who made them payed more attention.
