I have over an hour of HD footage from this show and really want to share it, except I don't know how to video edit and YouTube only allows videos under 10 minutes. The audio and video quality, for the most part, is perfect and it would really be a shame if I didn't get to share it.

If anybody is interested in helping out just hit me up with a PM or whatever.

Fuck youtube. Put it up as a torrent or put it up at Megaupload.

(I better go find the bed because I think that I'm prairie-doggin. . . .)

Would definitely love to see it, I just watched someone's video of Hurt from Saturday on youtube and cried again, that's gonna get me everytime.

post up in the video section, I'm sure someone in there will be able to help you out. I don't know much about video so I can't offer much help but I bet someone over there can.

Where is this video section that you speak of?

I watched a video of Right Where it Belongs yesterday and the tears came back for me. I haven't even tried Hurt yet, nor do I think that I will for a while.

My Aragon experience, Vol. 2: lol

After being second row rail in front of JMJ on Friday, my husband and I were pretty tired. So, we got in line around 3:30 with the intent to go for the left balcony. We ended up there with basically everyone that was standing right next to us on the floor Friday.

If you were one of those people who were trying to have a conversation with me around that point in time and I was being weird it's because I managed to get an irregular heartbeat after being exhausted, dehydrated, eating a bit too much and then sprinting up the stairs. I mention this because on top of the water and security asshat issues that everyone has already mentioned I was a little shocked to find out how lame the EMS services are there. I've had this happen before and it generally goes right away (except for the meet and greet pic...thought that might kill me). This time it lasted for about 5 min. So, I thought maybe they'd have free water (they did) and I could have them see what rhythm it was in. The people that man the first aid are EMT's, but they can only practice as first responders at Aragon(basically, they can't do crap). AND, there is NO automatic defibrillator in the venue. That is basically gross negligence. So, keep that in mind those who go to the Aragon...

Back to fun stuff. Mew's chill set really helped me out after the whole 'I might die' experience. I really enjoyed them both nights, but I was very happen to watch them Saturday.

By the time NIN took the stage I was back to feeling fine and ready to give myself whiplash, which was a good thing considering the setlist. I friggin loved the setlist...Heresy, Metal, Ruiner, Mr. Self Destruct, I Do Not Want This, Reptile (I don't care if PM screwed it up. That was my first time hearing it live and it was awesome). Right Where It Belongs was a huge surprise. I am eternally grateful that I got to experience that live. The Good Soldier is also one of my favorites from Year Zero. And, I love that I got to see Survivalism both nights...damn that song kicks ass live. Peter Murphy's stage antics were once again hilarious.

I did think that Trent was not feeling well. I noticed it first when he kneeled to drink water and then I thought he was gone for a bit long during the shirt change. But, those were the only give aways. I am constantly amazed by the intensity that he brings to every second of every show...and I'm horribly, horribly grateful he didn't cancel that show.

I realized Saturday that I love watching the crew work just as much as watching the band. JT is really great and I love watching him take care of us. Watch out if you have him pour water into your mouth though or you'll be choking for awhile, lol. And the light guy...holy crap he's a trip to watch. I'd like to figure out who he's going to tour with just to watch him some more.

Since, I'm not going to the LA shows, that could have been my last NIN show. If it was it will stand as my favorite. Overall, I can't wait to get my little hands on both audio and video of the show.

Thanks again for sticking it out Trent! I'm glad our energy made you feel great after being sick. I had the same experience that night. NIN heals, LMAO! I can't wait to hear whatever you do from now on. I do hope that someday we might get some more live asskicking, guitar smashing Trent, but in the meantime relax. You've certainly earned a lifetime of it!

Working on making a torrent of my first video. I'll probably screw it up a few times since this is the first time I've tried to make on of these. Will report back shortly.

Okay, so I'm totally uneducated on this stuff. I've got a bittorrent file of the video sitting in my video folder. How do I let you guys have it?

...I feel a tap on my shoulder and figure it is someone in my group needing something. I turn around to see a security guy telling me I need to sit down! My response “Are you fucking kidding me?” He says “No, people back here can't see” I said “Its a concert man, you can't honestly expect me to sit down” He launches into some bullshit about how these people paid for a ticket and they want to be able to see the show too. Mind you these people were SITTING DOWN. How the hell can you sit at a NIN show? The security guy kept on and on about me sitting and I told him “I'm not sitting down its a general admission show- these people could have sat anywhere they wanted, it isn't my fault they didn't get up to the balcony faster than someone else.”

I was right behind you, man, and we were NOT sitting down. Everyone was standing, and couldn't see shit because your 6'6" ass was pretending to be an orchestra conductor, writing around like a maniac.

I can speak for EVERYONE behind you when I quote the guy standing next to me: "I hope that tool rocks out so hard he falls off the balcony and gets the fuck out of the way."

Here's a note of common courtesy: If you're six and a half feet tall, with the best seat in the house, don't STAND UP, and then proceed to spread your arms out for the course of the entire show. It ruins the night for everyone else.

I'm 6'1" but thanks for the kind words nonetheless. I hoped you moved instead of just standing there bitching all night about it. I saw plenty of balcony sections that people were more than happy to sit down and watch the show. To each his or her own I suppose.

So I gave all I had back as appreciation for what I was witnessing, I was connecting with the show on the most primal level.. "acting like a maniac" as you said. I fully appreciate your stance, but since you could have sat anywhere you wanted.. it seems fairly petty to complain when you could have found someplace else to go if I was "annoying you." Looking down from my vantage point form the balcony-- on the back of the floor right next to the soundboard were people milling around with their beers. Best sound in the venue, hands down. But I can't apologize for getting into the show, in my own way.

Nobody should have 2 apologize for expressing themselves at what might have been the last NIN show...?? (or any show that you love, for that matter) Way to be a jerk and hope that someone would get seriously hurt...really? You shouldn't even have been there if you don't know how to behave @ a concert or apparently in the general public. Maybe it was your first concert, it sure sounds like it. If so, I guess you just didn't know. General admission means you...YOU,yourself, chooses where to sit/stand, it's YOUR (this is YOU again, numero uno, star player, look in the mirror) own fault that you had a bad time.

I'm a girl, 5'8", and I was in the dead center of the pit. I was punched, knocked down, stepped on...and had PLENTY of tall fuckers in front of me, and I had an AMAZING time. Wouldn't trade it for anything!

Same here. I am 5'7" and at the Chicago show in May I was stuck in the land of rampaging giants, but I had a fantastic time. It was actually my 2nd favourite NIN concert.

Try being 5'3" on the floor, struggling to see, getting thrown in mosh pits and praying the crazy drunk high guy next to you doesn't accidentally head butt you in the face. Aside from the fact that it was AWESOMEEEEEEE, don't bitch. smiling smiley

Okay, now that I've had time to digest this show.... I still don't have much to say. I think I've finally accepted the fact that NIN's done touring (for now at least)- this show was the best closure anyone could ask for.

Great meeting some people who I've never gotten to meet before, both at Friday and Saturday's shows (Staci, KayCee, Skye, Ashley, Jack-E, etc) and see old friends too. I MISS YOU ALL HORRIBLY. sad smiley I couldn't have asked for a better group to experience my last show with.

This was my 9th show, and ever since the beginning, I've wanted to see two songs: The Way Out Is Through and Mr. Self Destruct. When they made it back into rotation during the NIN|JA tour, I was so excited. Didn't see them in Clarkston or Burgettstown. Then these two Chi shows gave me one last chance. When I didn't see either song on the first night, I had given up hope. So obviously when TWOIT started on Saturday night, I completely lost my fucking shit at the rail, and then when Mr. Self Destruct came up later in the show.... I swear to god, either Trent read my mind or the planets were aligned.

We were on the rail in front of Robin again, same spot as the night before- to the nice guy who was standing behind me and decided to do the bracing at the rail for me because my knees had been fucked up the night before, if you're reading this, thank you so much!!! It was a pleasure to rail with you.

I also met Robin (FINALLY!) after the show, which was pretty much the highlight of my entire life.

Thank you NIN for the best weekend ever.

Should have stuck with you girls a bit longer, I would have died if I got to meet Robin. Glad karma was so good to you for holding a spot on the rail for me while I got my shirt!

Actually, at this time no place is REQUIRED to have an AED. I think they are only required to have a basic first aid kit with face masks for CPR.
And if they started working on you, they would have to bust out the full EMT knowledge, as required by law that you have to work up to your level of knowledge (if you are a professional, not a pedestrian) if you have started giving care. Fot example, if you require an IV, there is one avaiable, they are trained and they are currently working on your problem, they have to give it to you.
