When we checked out the line and venue (so we knew where it was) at 1am the night before, there was this homeless guy behind Ralph's sitting on the sidewalk who told us, "it's going to be all out punk tommorrow, Nine Inch Nails!" My husband and I had to laugh, did he just call NIN punk?

I stood in line where the garbage was for about 5 minutes when we came back at 6:30am (after breakfast at Denny's) then the line moved to the street sidewalk. My gosh, that stench was horrible and it wasn't even hot yet. Kudos to all who was able to sleep through that.

I was near the street, so I wasn't really near any garbage cans or any rats (I wasn't even aware that was a problem) - and I think I slept fine, on account of the fact that I passed out after all the alcohol consumption. I even woke up in the morning when they moved us, and then went back to sleep.

Fun times.

I think I remember you from the pic in your profile. I was the short Asian woman with long black hair. I think I was the only Asian woman for a long time until I saw another one much later in the afternoon way back in the line. We were under the tiki umbrella before the line broke off to make way to the driveway to Ralph's parking.

I was too scared to drink in line in the LA heat thinking I would get heat stroke with my Colorado blood. And I grew up in the tropics. I didn't even see the garbage dump while walking around until I stood in line. Now I wish I would have said hi to the people in line in front of me. I did recognize a few people from their profile pics in the forum, I thought that was pretty cool.

I actually kicked shitfuckdamn to try and get her to move. Properly booted her. Still didnt wake up. Multiple punches to the face were what it took to wake her up.

Everyone at work hates me this week,( most likely next week also) because all I've been doing is talk about the great time I had at these shows, then I downloaded audio and played it Friday over the work radio. And my posters are up in office. I think they were going to tie me up and dump me in a closet. they think I'm a FANATIC.

I loved these shows, all were so different and awesome I still can't make up my mind which was best. Seeing the TDWS was MIND BLOWING, and the Fonda was FAST and FURIOUS like Trent had something to prove since the rescheduling. Then the finale, a great time, all the special guest, the atmosphere was incredible. Fucking off the hook. I'm having flash backs. spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Before the rescheduling I came to grips of NOT seeing the LAST show, I just wasn't going to pay that much $$$ for a Echoplex tix, 3 out of 4 shows were great and I was thankful for that. Then oh shit it all changed and I FUCKING was going to see the last show, I still can't believe that I was there. hot smiley

To everyone I met and the people we hung out with I love U like a neighbor. I wear my NIN shirt with pride.

Also thanks for the great video and audio, my work buddies love it.the finger smiley fuck them.

I love the drama about the line cutting, SO PLZ KEEP IT UP.

How ironic! You start the line bitching with your second post in this thread, then want to act like you didn’t. Amazing. Not only that but you completely trashed out your friend (or associate, since you disowned her, yet were with her all week) when confronted with your errors in memory and consistent tweaking of the situation to fit your own means. Then when ignored, you come up with this and want to act cheated that someone cut you…but you didn’t even notice at the time. Yet, your group (or group that you/monkeyarse disbanded, since it was more convenient after the fact) cut many people. It's simply enlightening.

But, you are right about one thing. It really doesn’t matter now, concert's over, and in all reality I couldn’t figure out why you brought it up in the first place. It seemed like a stupid thing to take such precedence in your post about the show.

With that, that is all I have to say on the issue. I loved the show...if any of you didn't, I can't help you.

Oh my godaaaaaaah eye popping smiley. I left my firstborn camping out in that stinky, rat/maggot infested alley overnight! But, then, she was in great company; NIN fans and a late-night snack delivery by Dave Navarro (huge thanks to the fan that took their picture--it's great!)
LOL whoever thought Wiltern was a bad place to hangout over night for a show should have gone to Bowery or Echoplex. It was definitely the Ritz compared to some. At Bowery we had it all, the strung out guy throwing a cleaning cart into oncoming traffic, then threatening the line, and finally the security guards from that nights show tossing him around a bit. The old crazy dude, who finally talked the guy into leaving, then coming back to tell us some wacked out stories and songs before flashing us all his man boobs...and coming close to flashing something else. The cop car that showed up randomly to make sure we were alright. Jonathan's comedy entertainment at 4 in the morning (my favorite part of the night). Hurricane Bill giving us an excellent light show and a soothing shower that flooded the near by subway. At least, at that point, the street was spotless. Ah goodtimes. grinning smiley

If you didn't catch the sarcasm in my post clearly insinuating that I was still commenting lightly on how you guys gained magical access to the front of the line - you should either reread posts before replying or ask someone for clarification on the topic.

In all honesty - I usually wouldn't be this vocal about something so inconsequential. I mean, fuck - it's been what? A week or so? I had only brought it up originally (if you're referring to my original post which I wrote the night of the concert, containing little more than a sentence regarding the "cutters" ) because I was so floored by the fact that someone could be so two-faced in REAL life. Maybe I've lived in a Pleasantville growing up, but I've never ever witnessed such complete duplicity in my life. It's like when you're watching a really trashy reality tv series and you think to yourself - "HA! That would never happen in real life because it's so ridiculously unrealistic and people aren't really that stupid and/or hostile." - but lo and behold!

You guys bitched about lines at Santa Barbara, you bitched about Bowery, you bitched at Echoplex, you bitched at Wiltern (and I'm sure I'm missing just about every other show that you went to and bitched about, but didn't bother reading into) - and then you went against every single stringent model that you ever created/actively applied to others in line concerning "holding your rightful and deserved spot," and decided to fuck it - and jump right ahead of everyone else.

GG

Was I surprised? No. I sort of expected it. I just thought it was funny that you guys would carry out the stereotype that's already been set against you by so many people on these boards/in real life.

Sarah was a different issue. I had been with her all week - drove her around to help her avoid taxi costs, ate dinner with her, and even offered to drive her to my HOME if she couldn't afford costs of being in LA for that extended amount of time after hearing that all the foreigners were essentially fucked by the rescheduled shows (and it may be hard for you to believe, but I did this without a need for "using" her). However, at one point - she completely alienated herself in a childish manner and then completely jumped to the front of the line at the last second - despite the fact that she never really did wait in line (unless you are implying that sulking in a hotel room counted... since I'm not entirely familiar with your guys' line rules).

I know that you guys 'bonded' over your ire and fury at the world concerning wrong doers in line, but you trying to defend her as a 'friend' based on that one encounter is almost as laughable as George Bush's presidential career.

Oh - and I know it's confusing, but the only 'group' I was with was 'Monkeyarse' and Christo. It seems as though you mistakenly assumed we were with several groups (or more specifically - the "+7 group" ) because we were doing something called "conversing" or "enjoying company with other humans." You should try it some time (or maybe I shouldn't suggest that for the sake of humanity?).

All in all - I hope you guys continue to enjoy terrorizing Danny in 'The Shining' and/or you go fuck yourselves.

XOXOXOXOXOXOX Hearts and kisses!

Jesus... I can not for the life of me remember the Whiskey you recommended as we were walking into the Wiltern.... I know you don't care too much for Lagavulin (too smoky). But there was one that you said was a good balance. Any idea what that was?

I think I recommended two. If you like a little less smoke, but still want an Islay flavor, go with the Talisker 10. That stuff is great. If you want what is probably my favorite Scotch with a little less smoke than that. Go with the Tobermory 15. That one is awesome. Has a hint of butter toffee to it. That one is likely for a birthday or other occasion though because it costs a little over $100.

It was in the alley where they were unloading and loading. The same alley through which I believe the band entered and on the other side of the transit rails where Ticketmaster was to line up. I heard that the Ticketmaster line's conditions were horrendous, even compared to the alley. However, pre-sale had a really good spot - we didn't have to protect our families or pets. I should have asked Brandon if he had to fend off the rats to protect his mom. Haha.

Goddamn, those are some good looking twins! Maybe I've mistaken this misplaced anger for outright jealousy. Who knows maybe you are all into blondes. For some reason some of you seem to have a fetish with twins, or why else would you spend hours on end compling pages worth of posts just to speak with them. Sometimes people think negative attention is better than no attention at all, is that what you were going for? Or can you just not get past Santa Barbara?

Spitfuck, really, it's time to let go of the past. Santa Barbara was months ago. I'm sorry you ended up losing your spot, but it wasn't personal, as explained in that thread. No need to carry this on, which was obviously your motivating factor for posting obsessively against us in the first place.

Maybe our time is better spent telling the band what we liked about the show, than it is focusing in on the blonde twins in the audience. Those were some good looking twins, I'm sorry I missed them, but still I think the show deserves more of my attention. I really enjoyed when Trent demolished his keyboard sending it into the security guards head and leaving my view of them (the band, not the twins) wide open. One of my favorite parts of the night. Have a great day, I'm off to see 9.grinning smiley
