i was wondering if anyone has some really good audio of the show. i couldn't find anything through the posts. i just want to be able to listen to it over and over in my head and never let that night fade.

go here [www.echoingthesound.org] and see what sources are available. New sources are available over on dime and i can also tell you that JB's and GOTB are very good recordings.

I've been listening to this recording for days now. Quality is pretty good. Haven't tried any of the others yet.

Sooo...

Sitting here at work...reality hits at last. No more NIN to look forward to.

All I can think of is the NIN theme song for my job: "Every Day is Exactly the Same" (it really is too, down to the last word).

How ironic that I attended the final NIN show on 09/10/09, the anniversary of my first day at this job (8 years - never been at one thing that long in my entire life).

Trent's music sums up so much of what I feel about this situation that I am totally stuck in because of the damn health care problem in this country.

Guess I should feel lucky that I even HAVE a job...just wish it was one I liked.

Fuck it. Time to go plug the Wiltern recordings into my headphones...

Over 3 hours and 30 mins of NIN. Amazing SHOW! NIN took the stage around 9:15p and left around 12:45a.

All I can say is Trent def saved the best for last!

The sound was pristine in this venue, excellent choice for a finale (even though it was not planned that way).

I did not get to watch any of the opening acts (work and LA Traffic) but was there right on time to watch NIN take the stage. Got balcony seats, which to my surprise were pretty good.

Thanks NIN... you will be missed in the live circuit!

EDIT: TR did mention that NIN will NOT be touring anymore, but they WILL be making music. He said that Justin, Ilan and Robin will still be making music individually and with NIN as well! There were quite a few HD Cameras all around the venue, so def expect something!

I remember them coming on around 9:35pm and ending around 12:40am...

I'm at work also.
Wish I was back in CA sitting in a line waiting to pick up my tickets and wristband with my +1.

TRENT---Please release a video of this performance. I know it was being taped. I would love to own a visual to remember the night for decades to come. I will listen to NIN when I'm 80 yrs old! Even if it is only avaliable to fans on the site, I would be so grateful. Others must see this epic performance!

The only thing good about work today is that we moved to a different building while our office is being remodeled; therefore, my computer and phone have not arrived yet. I already cleaned my temp desk and unpacked the one moving box with the essentials. It's lunch time, but I'm not hungry. None of my coworkers are here; I suspect they went out to lunch without me.

I uploaded my photos of the four shows this morning and will post links when I get home tonight.

What an awesome experience that only true fans will understand
I wish you the greatest happiness and a life full of love
Good luck in your future endeavors and in the marriage to your special ladylove

drinking boat loads of water helps. I had a very serious case of bronchitis in Jan. 2008 that caused me to cough up copious amounts of blood because I was coughing so hard, it broke the blood vessels/capillaries in my lungs and throat.

I called that song my work song for the last year & a half of my now 28 month old job...I feel ya, both in misery of drudge & how I should be feeling fortunate to have a job, period. Though if I don't get off the boards, that situation may change, *laughs nervously*.

Me too. Work sucks today because I was gone for 8 days and everyone is tripping that I am back. One at a time, folks, one at a time. Geesh.

I feel like I can't even put into words what has happened in the past 3 weeks. Went to all 10 shows. Every second was perfection. Yes there was stress (lack of sleep, scrambling to change plans for the rescheduled shows, friends who couldn't stay for shows, etc.) but in the end it was all worth it. I don't know how I managed to not get sick!

Dude, were you the guy who went crowd surfing with the tambourine in your hands??!!
I saw you land and take a ten foot drop straight to the head. That looked beyond painful! People shouldn't have been crowd surfing in the section behind the pit, but the security was absolutely awful about trying to catch them too...

The section behind the pit was way rougher than the actual pit.

I can't believe how many people came sailing over my head--and off a cliff.

EDIT:

At work with NInfluenza. Been self-medicating with a cocktail of OTC things, hippy shot and Tylenol 3's... (don't worry, not taking multiple things with Tylenol..or Psuedoephedrine) Has anyone actually been to the doctor and been started on a course of antibiotics? Have a crapload of Penecilin at home...and would love to get rid of this without having to go to the doctor. Oh, and spicy food helps.

Big Thanks to Trent, the band, the crew, and the fellow fans for making this last month one of the most amazing experiences of my life!!

Everyone was very cool to myself and my +1 who I happened to meet the previous Saturday night that this show was supposed to happen. Fate can be a beautiful thing since it looks like we may actually stay in touch!

I was very appreciative of the person that came up to me while I was rocking out in the 3rd Tier/floor and offered me a VIP pass into the pit...said "you look like you belong there." So cool of you!

Big thanks to the 2 girls from San Francisco that were next to my +1 and I for the warm conversation, and not beating me over the head for bringing someone who wasn't a "true fan." It's always nice when you can open someone's eyes to something they never knew existed.

Thank you to the bar tender that kept adding extra shots of vodka in our drinks, nice assist smiling smiley

To all the folks that offered to help pay for my airfare...thank you soooo much, but in the end I decided to simply go into debt and put up the cost of the entire trip myself. Worth every penny, and every grueling hour I'm going to have to slave to make it back.

Thanks to everyone for all of the awesome pictures, audio files, and videos!! I'm not a big picture person myself, so I'm thankful I have these to help me relive this amazing night!

God Bless all of you and see you around!!

I've been a member for a while but have never posted. So I'm using my first post to say that I am also ill with flu-like symptoms. Of the Wave Goodbye shows, I only attended the Wiltern show, sat in the balcony and didn't buy a shirt. It must have been some airbourne nastiness.

I would like to say that I've seen NIN 8 times since 1994 and the Wiltern show was amazing, definitely my favorite.

The full set lasted just over 197 mins - was stood behind the engineers (sound/light - btw does anyone know who does the lights, he was mental and loads of fun to watch!) and they taped (I think) the show. Either way, it was around 197 - 198 after In This Twilight.

I caught it after the Chicago shows and did get antibiotics after trying to fight it off for awhile. It turned into an ear infection and upper respiratory infection. yuk!

It was an honor and a privilege to be able to attend this final show. In addition to the actual concert, here are additional personal highlights:

1. Witnessing, more than once, fellow fans taking care of each other. Specifically, a few people showed up that day and were able to purchase +1 tickets from other fans in line, for face value. That sense of community struck me.

2. I met two people from San Jose who really added to the experience as we waited in line for several hours. We got lost in a discussion over our passion for music (not limited to NIN) and it really made the time pass. I look forward to checking out some of their musical suggestions, particularly "Elbow."

3. Standing next to Tony Hawk (behind the soundboard) as we were all just fans, singing along to every song.

The experiences of that day are still hitting me.

Mine has morphed in to a nasty nasty respiratory infection on antibiotics now, but they don't seem to be helping. Also a cough syrup with codeine.
