Just got my Year Zero CD...LOVE IT! Anywho, just wondering if that is Trent's pipe holding the gun on the inside jacket. Nice arm, and he is so awesomely buff these days. I'd love to think he is showing it off!! smiling bouncing smiley

I remember reading somewhere that he hinted that it is him with the gun.

But who cares? Give a little respect to that anonymous arm. PLEASE!
Is this ARG related? If so...JAZZus, I need to recharge my brain.

where does the ARG begin and reality end? if Art is Resistance is an aspect of the game defined by the particpants in the game itself acting in the real world, then would it not mean that there is no difference between the real world and the game. if so would that mean those of us who stand by and accept the ideology of Year Zero are in effect a watch dog resistance?

Well, the chant in the song has been confirmed as "Greed," so it's likely that that's what the G means.

Maybe I'm going nuts but I could swear I something on one of the many ARG related websites that looked like a piece of notebook paper scribbled on that said "capital G" and more about a leader named Gil.

Of course now I cant find it, but I haven't had the time to dig either.

If so the future sucks because I'm making the same damn wage...

10/03/08 9:31 AM

no one ever said the future would be pretty, even in the 50's idea of the future nuclear weapons and worse things were still pointed at russia. its probably not armaggedon just a small apocalypse (apoclypse translates essentially into the awakeining.

however ever if it came down like in year zero it would be a fucking bitch, they would go Waco,TX on us

what is the ARG.

I see it all over the place and i and some others do not seem to know what it is. Im sure we did KNOW what it is but just don't know it by the name ARG

10/03/08 10:58 PM

the ARG is a series of inter-connecting websites that tell the story of the future that can possibly be, it is also made up of the Art is Resistance movement, ( AiR) which is both in game and out. its kind of a fake it till you make it kind of thing we pretend, but the game is aimed at real life things so its not really a game, i am not sure if this was trents intention or not

Exhibit24.net has pretty much all the information on it, have fun combing through it all...

I've heard about some of the Year Zero stuff, but I don't know how it is all supposed to fit together... (What event started it all, and what happened next in seqential order please). I've tried to figure out the predictions myself, and I'm obviously not very bright.

has anyone ever noticed the chick moanin during the refrase. ITs there and it sounds like SEX!!! na but seriously heard a long while back just thought to ask on here about it.

09/25/08 1:47 PM

flipping through the little booklet that went with Year Zero, i noticed that there were some numbers "hidden" in it, like one of those "i spy" books my younger brother likes so much. do they mean anything?

10/04/08 10:52 PM

They are for the ARG...useless as of right now

10/05/08 1:29 AM

I've heard, so to speak, the vinyl mix is "different". If so how? Thoughts?

10/05/08 2:49 AM

Yes, the vinyls are different. They're not mixed differently, but the pressings sound different: the EU release vinyl sounds a lot more muffled, quiet and noisy, while the US release is crisper and louder, less noise.

I highly recommend to anyone interested in buying the Year Zero vinyl to get the US version: I was highly disappointed by the EU release sound.

How would you compare the US Vinyl to the CD?

I've been there, and it didn't tell me a whole lot. That's why I need some help comprehending this. But thanks anyway.

A good way to learn what the ARG was all about is to take a look at 42 entertainment's Year Zero case study website: [www.42entertainment.com].

10/10/08 5:56 PM

ok, so not to change to topic here but not sure where else to post...
does anyone know how to save work done on the ableton live 6 program?
the demo version comes with YZ remixed disk 2 but it won't let me save my work?
therefore not being able to post in on the site or anywhere else for the matter...
any help would be greatly appreciated
