The musical palette is large enough so that there is a song for nearly any mood. But I'd have to say that, when it comes down to it, I'm completely drawn to "9 Ghosts I" and "34 Ghosts IV". The former conjurs up images of New York Harbor in the fog (partially influenced by a video I saw during the YouTube festival) and the latter always makes me think of being swallowed by the sea (not unlike "La Mer" ). Ghosts 28 reminds me of a short clip I made with some flowers using some powerful lens. Ghosts 31 - I like the drums. Ghosts 34 - how can you not like it?

That was my first impression the first time I heard that song. For me, there are alot of songs from Ghosts that I really like, but 12 Ghosts always stands out for me, and that's my first answer when someone asks me what I think the best Ghosts song is.

Reminds me of some sort of resolution...the fact that it's close to the end of the album really helps that feeling seem real. I could go on but I can't think right now.

I remember being a little disappointed that it wasn't a vocal album or YZ2, but still. And then I went into the site, put on the player, and 21 Ghosts started playing. Good memories.

This is exactly why I like that song so much. It starts off sounding so defeated, then the music just shifts and gets stronger. I love putting that song on when I feel like I've had enough and it just speaks to me and the message I get is that I can keep going and everything will get better.
